have you try to flash it via cwm? try to flash it with the same rom, xperia z fire or fxp (recommended basic). delete cache, etc.
the problem is not with the kernel, in my opinion.

"it got stuck at 'connect your phone'!"
are you sure you already have ADB installed on it?
it should work on flashtool. try to install ADB driver.

device manager says S1 flash device..??......btw i have used flashtool for my phone on this same pc with the same settings!!

okay..udate...on searching through the forums, got a similiar problem in a very different device, the galaxy I900...that problem boiied down to an internal SD which became read only,,which got me thinking,,,,,so i tried to copy something on to my internal SD (which now mounts as externl sd due to a swap inherent to the ROM i m using, but i think contains the system files {has to,ryt??}..) but altho windows shows copying, but then on mounting the device next tym doesnt show the file...
hence now as far as this noob understands, the problem lies in that card becoming read only..and wenever android tries to access that card it reboots!!...possible??...
and now HOW DO I FIX IT???

You can mount internal sd as usb storage via clockworkmod
Then format it

OK, here we go:
1. Download Flashtool and install it.
http://androxyde.github.com/
2. Download a rootable firmware from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001567
(I used http://rapidgator.net/file/50878617/...6_Non.ftf.html)
3. Copy the firmware into the Flashtool\firmwares folder
4. Flash like the standard way.
5. root using this tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
6. after rooting follow the steps described here:

it is written for Miro but works on Tipo, too.
Follow these steps strictly! I did it this way and it worked.

i think you can install tipo drivers by going into settings ->development and check 'debugging mode'. After, connect to pc via usb and drivers should start installing
Actually drivers come in the flashtool package. After installing open c/flashtool/drivers (I'd you installed here). Then install the last 2 options (flashnode and fastboot)
which option i have to select during flash '' flash mode or fastbootmode''

If you're flashing firmware, always 'flashmode'.
The name is pretty self-explanatory. Flashing > Flashmode.
is there any way to revive from hardbrick
Only a Sony engineer or someone who knows a real lot about electronics in such a mobile can fix hard brick. Hard brick means that hardware is probably broken.
But does your phone show any sights of life? Like does the led work when you plug in the charger. Then your phone is probably not hard bricked.

Maybe try to "force" to install driver trough the Device Manager in Windows. I have Win 7 64-bit and it just would't autoinstall my device in fastboot mode. I downloaded the driver, found my device in Device Manager and right clicked and choosed Update Driver. Then I choosed the folder where I had saved the downloaded driver
---------- Post added at 07:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:20 PM ----------
I have a Sony Xperia Tipo dual (ST21i2) Android smartphone which I tried to instal CyanogenMod 10 on. I managed to unlock the device in fastboot mode (according to instruction on Sony webside) and tried to flash it, but I think that I didn't place all the right files in the right folders for flashing because according to the instruction the device should reboot after flashing, but it didn't. I waited for 15-20 minutes and nothing happened so I disconnected the device from my PC. Now the when try to turn on the device the led flashes red 3 timed, then a short pause and then again 3 red flashes and so on it loops forever. So it seems that it is not completely dead yet. When I connect the device to my computer it is not recognized. In fact, Windows does not see it at all so I can not use Sony Flash Tool. Can anyone help my how to finish te installation of CM10 on my device? I have understood that you can force Xperia Tipo to install system form SDcard. If it is true how do I do that? Which files should be put on the card and how to force boot from the SDcard?

Don't think so, as the phone doesn't turn even respond to any thing. They might change the motherboard. Just try saying to them that this happend when during charing. You just left phone for the night to charge and on the morning phone was out. But are you sure that SUS doesn't recognise the phone ? If they do not belive you might pay for the motherboard.

Thanx, Before this issue with my Xperia L I was using PC companion and I guess this already installed drivers but now neither PC companion/SUS nor flash is detecting my phone. I am using windows 8 currently but I also tried on windows 7 to install the drivers but no luck. My friend suggested that I need a boot loader as all the data in my Xperia L has been washed out due to bad flashing. In my country no boot loader device available for Sony Xperia 2013 models. Any alternate solutions?
Bootloader..?!! I think you don't have any kernel in your phone currently that's why it isn't recognizing your phone by the PC.. Try using SUS on Windows 7..make sure your driver's are installed properly.. Either through SUS or Flashtool..
If your phone is Not Recognized by Flashtool that means you don't have Required Drivers Installed. Use the Below method to Solve this Problem.
Open the folder /Flashtool/drivers & Install "ggsetup-2.2.0.11".
If Still after the Above Process Flashtool doesn't Recognize your Phone. Use this Method.
Open the /Flashtool/driver folder & Extract the "XXX_ADB_Driver.zip" anywhere on your PC/Mac/Linux. [ This Zip corresponds to your Phone Model. ]
Now Open "Device Manager" on your PC/Mac/Linux & find the device which is with an Exclamation mark on it. [ Make sure your phone is Connected to the PC ]
Right Click on that Device & Choose Update Driver.
Choose to find the Driver Manually.
Now Browse to the Folder where to have Extracted your Phone Model Zip File.
This will Install the Required Drivers on your Computer.
After that Open Flashtool Again & Try to Recognize your Device.
If Still you see any problem reply back for further assistance..
Hit Thanks if I helped you..

Hi pervenkal, try varunpilankar steps, I too faced this issue while flashing my Xperia L for the first time, 7 months ago. But it is most probably driver issue, during that time I tried lots of drivers even the one given with flashtool, but finally drivers from ADT bundle helped me.

Try to plug it to power and look if it charges, if a red led blinks/shines, great, if no led at all whatever you do, pull the battery, wait 5 minutes, reinsert it and try again - if still no led whatever you do, your phone is hard bricked... :/

That's the only thing I would have tried as your error seemed like it would be solved by this... sorry...
Try to plug it to power and look if it charges, if a red led blinks/shines, great, if no led at all whatever you do, pull the battery, wait 5 minutes, reinsert it and try again - if still no led whatever you do, your phone is hard bricked... :/

Bro how to use the program and what to do after running it ? Plz elaborate and where can i find the 2 files which you have mentioned .hex and .mbn and bro will i be able to get my old xperia back after running this program ?
I had once the same problem I failed to repartition the internal storage but then I think I would have able to create the partition again using "adb shell Fdisk" actually i had seen the post on Xperia J or some device thread u need to find, but i failed cause there was 1 partition in which the recovery could hold something like that and bymistakely I deleted that and it went off permanently so be carefull before deleting the top most partition left on your phone. Look for that thread and give a try only for advance users, if sucessfull please do the help others. If I find the thread i will post the link over here.
Good Luck
