Sorry if this has been asked before. n8010 and n8013 doesn't seem to have any hardware differences.
I have the n8013 model (the one sold on the US, bought it on Bestbuy), but it doesnt seem to get as many updates as the International model.
So here is my question: Can I flash n8010 firmware through Odin on n8013?

Hard to keep up with all of the 8000 series updates but I think it just looks like the 8010 & 8000 have more updates because they have so many different languages.
I don't know but does more updates mean that they have actual made a major advance over another?????? Maybe it just means that the programmer messed something up in that version and they are fixing it????? I don't know?????

I'm asking because n8000/10 might get 4.2.2 or even 4.3 first.
So it would be nice to flash it on n8013 too.
Everything does work normally except the status of the device is no longer normal but custom even using stock rom with no root.

Thanks on the Help
I need Hebrew interface on P3113 and what I understand here, there is no much different between p3110 to p3113, so why its not possible to flash Samsung stock ROM for p3110 on p3113 device?
Is there is ROM that compatible to both? beside CM
Thanks to all the helpers!
I know for a fact CM has Hebrew. What've you got against it?

Thank you on your reply,
I have nothing against it.. I have several devices and on two of them I use CM.
First I want to leave some option open, because P3110 sold in Israel and have not only support Hebrew, it have GUI menu in Hebrew.. and that what I need. So in case CM dont fully support Hebrew I wander if I can flash the p3110 stock ROM from Israel on the P3113, I dont care to lose the blaster thing.
Second, some of the CM version have support Hebrew, but the have no menu in Hebrew.
Thanks!

I am sorry, I dont understand, whats do mean by posting this list?
I mean both P3110 and P3113 have same codename. My KK-Boot boot image can boot all above device. I think 3110 ROM could be flashed to 3113, then you can change /system/buil.prop manually, change all P3110 to P3113.

How do you change /system/buil.prop manually, change all P3110 to P3113? Is this just an edit?
I'm running a GT-P3113 with CM 10.1=20130211-nightly-P3110. At some point in the process it changed the model number from GT-P3113 to GT-P3110. I have had a couple apps not show up available in the Play store that I had installed as stock.

Found it. In the guide [GUIDE] How to edit build.prop on any Android device!
Seems to be working. Hopefully the nightly's don't change it back everytime.

Spoofing P3110
First post, be gentle - apologies if in wrong place. I have searched for an answer but came there none, so based on the premise that the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.....
I've got some damaged Samsung P3110 machines, in various states of disrepair, that I'm trying to get back into good order.
I've been able to track out the charger circuitry well enough to fix a few, but others are beyond it due to water damage, and they're in need a new motherboards.
I've secured a supply of boards from the US, but they're P3113 configured with P3113 stock firmware.
I've been able to flash p3110 firmware without problems, but this ends up with a schizophrenic device. Having rooted and deployed Chainfire's excellent Triangle Away solution, I still find that I'm getting a mismatch between mobo identity and ROM identity. If possible, I'd like to be able to tweak the motherboards so they're reporting p3110 when asked, in order that the boot process doesn't keep incrementing the flash counter.
Does anyone have the knowledge I seek and if so, would they be generous enough to impart it, please?
Hoping that's clear enough to get a handle on it.
Cheers in hope and advance gratitude.
Hi,
last week i bought a Samsung note 10.1 from china. When i got home i found out that i don't have Google play and other Google apps. I read that i could just change the room without rooting the device, using Odin.
Can someone please explain me exactly how i do it, how do i choose what Rom i need, etc?
Here are some details:
Model: GT-N8010
Build number: JZO54K.N8010ZCCMB1
Android:4.1.2
Thanks in advance!
top right corner = search bar. Use words flash with odin snote 10.1...
Just ROOT your device and install google play
when that doesn`t help enough change build.prop
Here some info that might help u
no need to change entire rom
I prefer not to root it if not needed.
Can i use any rom that i want?
Yes u can....
But most roms are already pre rooted so i see no gain from this
Not from sammobile... These are stock samsung roms... You need to join and find a rom you want. Just be aware that people have had problems with flashing chinese roms onto other countries tablets, seems to be around modem.bin in the flash, this may also affect you too....
Just to be completely sure, i can use this ROM with Odin even though i bought the note from China/Honk Kong and i am gonna use it in Israel?
Thanks for the help
The question i would ask first is it a genuine Samsung Galaxy Note not some fake / clone .

So have you succeeded in flashing any stock rom which includes playstore?
cause when I flash it, it fails at flashing the modem.
I succeeded but it won't boot so i flashed the original back...
We have a second exact note 10.1 that was also bought from china/honk kong and we asked from the seller to have a regular rom, and now i have a non-Chinese rom on my second note.
I'll try to ask him how he did it next time, maybe 2-3 weeks.

Yes it is worth purchasing. I haven't even tried rooting this tablet because of the lack of custom ROM development for this tablet but the stock ROM works great on this tablet, in my opinion. Haven't had any major issues with it at all. I upgraded to this from the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" WiFi only model and haven't regretted making this purchase at all.
You can go onto sammobile.com to find the stock ROM to download it to your computer and it is flushable via Odin.

That looks like its for a LTE model not the Wifi version
The current rom on my device is T33NUUEU1AND4
That would likely not work, and is not rated for this device..
I don't want to risk flashing a ROM for another device

Actually that is the wifi version. Sammobile typically lists the US wifi version as Cellular South. No idea why.
The NK1 means it is newer than your ND4.

I'm assuming its likely ok to install the Canadian version which is T330NUUEU1ANK1, but I'd rather wait for the official US version.. rather than install another functional yet not US version.. This tablet now has an unoffical TWRP port which works well.. So I have a working Nandroid back up which is based on the original T330NUUEUAND4 Firmware....
I have the sm-T330 NU wifi US model. It came with
the firmware T330NUUEU1AND4. I took the
System OTA update and the firmware was changed
to T330NUUEU1ANK1. Later I was able to root it
and installed TWRP 2.8.2.0.

Hello
I was wondering if the Roms available on SamMobile were really safe and clean? Given they're not working FOR Samsung, where do they get those?
I'm wondering because I noticed there was a link that came with my phone originally that wasn't there when I restored a ROM I took from SamMobile.
Thank you!

I flashed many devices with odin and firmware downloaded from SamMobile.com and i never had any problems with it. The provided firmwares are not modified and seem to be 100% official versions.
No need to worry about sammobile as it is safe and clean.
It is all in one resource for Samsung stock roms. I used so many roms for different models from there and never faced any issues.
Can you please describe which link you got additional ??

Nothing important really but there was a link to my carrier's mobile site and SamMobile listed the ROM with the name of my carrier. So I thought it had been modified. But maybe it's just because it's the same version as the one my carrier offers but doesn't come FROM my carrier?

No it's not official, I read somewhere they were named Samsung Firmware before they had to change to Sam Firmware at Samsung's request (before they were named SamMobile). I can't find where I read this though.

Alright thanks everyone!
Not official, but safe. They make their money by subscription services for "premium" download privileges. Maybe ads too, but I use adblock, so I wouldn't see them.
Yes me too. But I do wonder where they get all those ROM since Samsung doesn't give the out.

Sammobile updates Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 LTE
Hello,
Next newbie here
Could somebody senior please help me? I am wondering about official updates from Samsung for ROMs downloaded from sammobile, are they possible?
I've just installed Kitkat 4.4.2 on my beloved Note 3 after few days of using Darkera's Note 7 ROM when I'm tapping on "Update" in "Software Update" menu I get "Processing failed" message. Overall phone's responsiveness isn't that great, that's why I wanted to see if update is available.
Will appreciate any answers

You can't do stock updates on rooted devices with custom ROMs and custom recovery.
You have to remove root, you also need to have an UNMODIFIED system partition and you need stock recovery.
If you're using a custom ROM(your note 7 ROM is a ported stock custom ROM) then that means you are rooted and probably have custom recovery which means you need to remove root and undo any system modifications that were done in the custom ROM(including any special themes and Xposed) then flash stock recovery instead of custom recovery.
Then you might be able to do the updates but the system will be looking for your device to have straight stock with no modification, if there is any modification left behind then the update won't work.

Hi!
Thank you for your message.
Here is the list of things I did to my poor note 3 :
- rooted
- installed Darkera's note 7 rom, custom recovery and kernel downloaded also from Darkera
- unrooted with supersu
- using Odin3 I installed kitkat 4.4.2 which I downloaded from sammobile (I was told this process gonna whipe away everything - custom rom, custom recovery and kernel)
- downloaded supersu to make sure root is gone
Because of sammobile's server maintenance happening this weekend I used kitkat file I downloaded from sammobile quite some time ago (N9005XXUEND3_N9005XEOEND2_XEO for Poland) and during flashing everything went ok. But now when I go to 'settings' and 'about device' imei, modem version, baseband version are unknown and when I try to hit 'update' I get "processing failed' message. Oh, and I'm also experiencing random reboots. I'm not sure if all this is a normal thing or perhaps I did something wrong.
I hope I didn't bore you to sleep
Just curious, I have an N8013 2012 edition, can that be upgraded to 4.4 without rooting, I I don't want to have to setup the whole tablet again, but would like to have 4.4 on it because a few 3rd party apps I use require minimum 4.2
If possible can someone guide me, cheers

If you use the 8010 kitkat version you will have issues with the mobile addons unless you root and remove them. Kitkat will NOT be released for the n8013. Samsung has no intentions of upgrading the wifi only US tablet EVER.
They released 1 update for the tablet and that's it. No security updates or bug fixes. And that is due to Apple suing them. The N8013 is one of the tablets Apple seems to think Samsung copied even though it has a pen.
You might as well root your tablet. The bloat on the stock rom is horrid.
