[Q] Connecting TATA PHOTON PLUS with Galaxy note 800

Hi Friends,
I am from India, Recently we bought galaxy note 800 and its amazing. it works great and we love using it. Now what is bothering me is that we have TATA photon plus postpaid USB dongle in our home. We use it with our laptops and desktops. Now I want to connect the same to my galaxy note and access the internet, when I am outside. I know that we have sim card provision for that purpose but as this photon is provided by my office , I wanna use it instead buying a new SIM. So friends please let me know if we can use this USB dongle with my Tablet and if yes, How do I do that ? I have even got the 30 pin to USB connector for my tab and tried connecting the dongle, but after connecting nothing happens. Only the blue LED on my dongle keeps blinking as it does when it connects to internet over my laptop, but I cannot connect to internet.
Help me guys and thanks in advance.
I do not think it will support it but you can test it you need the connector to USB converter should get it for around 100 rs in the local market use it and check whether it detects it or not if it does you are in luck if it does not then you have to look at an alternative anyways it will look ugly why dont buy a prepaid card all the providers provide 1gb for 250
No Data card does not work using an OTG cable just tried it
The dongles need drivers to work. On the laptop or pc it generally installs them as part of the setup process however as this is a windows app it won't work on an android tablet. I know dongles have been got to work on other tablets, the Acer Iconia A500 comes to mind but there was a lot of work by the devs to get them working and then it was only certain dongles....
No the drivers for dongles are part of Linux or Unix like keyboard or mouse but it is detected as an high voltage device and hence it does not take it. older version of Linux kernels use to not support dongles but newer version do support it

Eken Smart TV - USB ethernet?

Hi all,
Hope someone can help, I've recently got an Eken Smart TV (Cortex A9 CPU clocked at up to 1.5Ghz and a Mali-400 GPU) from Futeko (http://www.futeko.com/products/MP044.php) and am playing around with it.
It's pretty good (and incredible for the price) but I feel like it's being slowed down by it's WIFI connection. If a USB ethernet adapter is cheap enough, I'l give one a go, but I don't want to get into a cycle of testing loads of these things.
Does anyone out there know if there's a cheap USB ethernet adaptor that's likely to work with this device (ideally from a UK vendor)?.
Many thanks in advance.

[Q] USB Bluetooth v4 driver for Android 4.0.3

Hello everybody !
Here's my issue:
I have an old chinese single core Cortex A9 ZeniThink C91 tablet with standard type A USB socket and Android 4.0.3.
I bought a ModeCom Bluetooth speaker which works perfectly with my mother's Acer Iconia A1-810 and Bluetooth v4.
I also bought an Ultron UBA-140 nano USB Adapter to use with my notebook and tablet but it doesn't recognise it.
I also have an old Bluetooth v1.2 adapter and it recognises it, I can pair the devices but can not use the speaker so the device and the Android supports Bluetooth adapters.
My questions are:
Can I get a driver for my BT v4 adapter to the Android 4.0.3 ?
Or should I buy a different adapter which is compatible with the tablet ?
How can I know which adapters are compatible with it ?
Thanks,
Zoló

[Q] WiFi Adapter for TAB 2

Hey All,
I have an external wifi adapter, Atheros AR9271. I have seen someone on YouTube use this wifi adapter with a Samsung Galaxy S2 so I hoped my Tab would recognise it as well. I can't get it to recognise it though, I have linux deploy and in linux if you do lsusb you can see the AR9271 as a USB device but not a wifi adapter, I have also tried it in a powered hub and by butchering a power cable for a more direct approach but still nothing.
Does anyone know how I can make the TAB 2 recognise the AR9271?
This is the first time I have ever rooted an android device or used linux so go easy on me
Also should probably have mentioned, its the 7" Tab 2 P3110 Android 4.2.2

[Q] logitech m570 software for android tablet

I just bought a double power 10.1 inch tablet. It's not bad since it's a quad core, has a gig of ram, bluetooth, and mini hdmi out and micro usb out. I use my tv as a monitor, and have a logitech bluetooth k810 keyboard. But -- I also have a m570 trackball that I cant get to work on it. I plug it in to the OTG cable and it seems to recognize it,but it doesn't work. I also have a lenovo n5910 trackball\keyboard that works fine, but the keyboard is too small and it's not backlite. So -- does anyone have ANY suggestions or ideas, or experience with this issue that can help me please ?? My tablet is kit kat 4.4.2
