Hi guys,
After flashing Carbon 1.7 (A7) ROM, there is no problem but suddenly its start to hang and I have to remove the battery and then the bootloop at samsung starting logo, I've reflashed stock rom from GB to Froyo but still the bootlop happen and I've reflashed for more that one time and using various stock rom. So, does this means my phone is bricked?.
Good luck

Phew, I was just to flash CarbonRom 1.7 [DEV] on my sister's Galaxy i9003 L, thanks for the warning
Regarding your problem and since your last action didn't help, why don't you give a try to this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133787 - please have special care to follow all the clean steps.
Note: I don't really know if that could help, it's just what I would do in your situation (I'm very new to Android). Sincerely HTH!
Did you try to install full XXKPE using odin3 v1.85 only? maybe this will solve your problem
instructions are here.

First thanks for this... I have question that is there a simple rom for galaxy sl which i can easily port by using cwm bcox every rom i have seen is the installation process is very lengthy bcox of odin and i dont want to use odin !
First in what base rom you are now? Cm10/cm10.1/cm10.2 or sammy/stock rom? Only stock roms needs odin, all custom roms are flashed on cwm recovery.

I briefly tested it and I noticed 2 good things: the system doesn't hang after entering/leaving recovery (using 4.1.2 rom) and the 2nd is that the counter doesn't increase after every recovery use. Thank you!
Good job. Thanks(pressed) for no soft buttons with vibration.
Those were just to drain the battery power.

Aroma installers doesnt work on this. Aroma works on Philz compiled recovery. Use triangle away to check/reset flash counter.

Maybe only one time, yes, only after you flash it, it is normal since you don't have the stock recovery anymore. But that's it. That happens with every version of cwm. I was saying that it doesn't increase the counter after each time you go into recovery, like it did with 6.0.19, for example.

Lies, still flash counter increases to 1 with this recovery.
That means you didn't understand what I've said.
I said yes, it increases to 1, like every other CWM version, but it doesn't increase the counter to 1,2,3,4... and so on everytime you enter recovery, like 6.0.19 did. Who tested the 6.0.19 version know I'm saying. That version increases the counter everytime you go to recovery. And that counter doesn't stop to 1. That is the whole idea of counter increasing. Until now no CWM managed to keep the counter untouched. So I don't lie.

GALAXY S II PLUS ROOTING AND CWM
PREREQUISITES:
-An I9105/P
-Odin3
-As usual, a brain
Click to collapse
NOTE:
Rooting will increase your binary counter.
ROOTING:
A) CWM (Thank you k2wl!!)
Download k2wl's CWM here.
Make sure you have Odin installed and Kies NOT running.
Boot your phone into Download mode by pressing: Vol.Down + Home + Power buttons all together.
Open Odin as an administrator.
Connect to PC using a USB cable.
Odin should show COM:X (X could be anything) on the left side which means your device is recognized.
Click on PDA and look for the file you downloaded (CWM file, should be named cwm_s2vep_k2wl.tar, or something along those lines) and choose it.
When Odin says Leave CS, press Start and wait, shouldn't take longer than 1-2 minutes.
Quick Note: This is not tested for I9105, but it theoretically should work.
B) Rooting
Download this file, and this file.
Place them both in your internal or external SD card.
Now reboot into recovery with the following combination: Vol.Up + Home + Power buttons all together.
Choose install zip from sd card, and choose external or internal, depending on where you put the root zip file in.
Flash the root zip "UPDATE-SuperSU.zip"
Flash "cwm-permanentor.zip"
Reboot
Done, you are now rooted!
UNROOTING AND REVERTING TO STOCK STATE:
Alright so, if you would like to unroot your phone and send it to warranty or sell it... Do the following.
Download Triangle Away by Chainfire from here.
Install it and use it to reset the binary counter.
Download the latest stock firmware for your device, make sure it's on the form of XX**** (e.g. XXAMC2). Non XX firmwares are fishy, and tend to brick devices sometimes. So get the latest firmware from live.samsung-updates.com. Always remember to choose the fimware with YOUR EXACT DEVICE MODEL.
Extract the .zip file from the download to attain a .tar.md5 fie.
Flash it using Odin.
After the firmware has flashed and the device reboots, delete root-related apps like Superuser (might or might not be there), and such.
Done, you are now back to stock state
We've just retired method 1 (prerooted firmwares).
Stick to the SuperSU method... easier and faster, no errors.

Do you see a COM:## sign on the left? Where ## is any number (the port in which you connected your phone). If yes then proceed normally as instructed in the OP. If not then try connectimg your phone to Kies software. It should download the S2 Plus USB drivers then. If that doesn't work try a different USB cable. If that doesn't work either try a different computer. Good luck

Hi there!
I'm trying to flash CWM Recovery on GTI9105p. I've actually done this before on the same device, but this time it doesn't work. Odin seems to work fine and shows PASS! after 32 seconds, but my phone stays on "Downloading..." with the blue bar full. If I manually reboot the device and try to go to recovery, it stays on Samsung model logo, no recovery loads. Otherwise I can boot the phone just fine. What could be the issue?
