Stuck in htc logo While installing bulletsense fx and other sense4.0 and above roms. - HTC Pico (Explorer)

i have cwm recovery. i follow each steps carefully but every time i stuck in htc logo. is it a problem with the recovery??i dont know how to install twrp over cwm tried many but no result. Can anybody help me please.

bro go to recovery>>flash original 2.3 ROM>>after succesful flashing>>again go to recovery>>follow the instructions given in the thread for flashing custom roms
im also new to android........but this reflashing method works well....

ok do it as follow.
remove your battery sd card and sim card. hold the power button for like 10 sec. then insert every thing back on it
Re partition your memory card and make sure u do it from inside CMW recovery.dont forget to backup stuff on it. make an ext-4 ext partition. min 1024mb.
after that go to mounts and format cache, data, system, sd-ext. dont format sdcard. leave everythhing unmounted
then go to advance and format dalvic cache and battery stats.
then factory reset/factory wipe on the main menu. and then flash the rom. wait for like 20 mins or so. it should work.
if it doesnt then unroot ur phone. install factory rom using RUU and then root it again.

Fastboot TWRP or PhilZ recovery into your phone. Explorer doesn't have the ability to flash recoveries as zips.
TWRP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123503
PhilZ: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265055
Also, never do a RUU. Unless you know what a RUU does to your device and how to handle soft bricks(clearly you don't).

May I specifically ask what really bricked your phone?

Smfh are you sure you wiped the dalvic cache the cache and did a factory reset before flashing this rom? And if you have an internatiinal version and your falshing a carrier branded rom it wont work it will brick and go to your boot loader and post the information s-on or off your cid all of it to get to the boot loader simply power down the phone hold power and vol down until it boots into the boot loded and simply tell us what it says it will help out a lot

download PhilZ Touch Recovery v5.08.5 | CWM Advanced Edition 6.0.3.3 and use Recovery Flasher Utility to flash recvory.then try it will never stuck on book logo, previously i was facing same problem with every sense 4 rom, now after flashing new recovery ,able to install any rom made for explorer, currently enjoying Triumph HD V1-Phoenix By: adityalahiri13

There is a sense 4.0A port from HTC one V by cute prince.. Odexed. Posted by Arslan.. search for that and flash.. Smoother ever even on class 4.. first boot in just about 2 minutes.. you can also go for port from same device by Shekutanwar..
His new build is Odexed too and
Should be smooth... Not checked myself though..

I have a solution..
Just flash the sense4 :good: in your HTC Explorer with minimum 1gb sd-ext,
Reboot the phone and when it stuck on htc logo just press and hold volume down key until the phone starts..
it will start within 4 to5 minutes in safe mode, then again restart phone and enjoy ......!!!!!

I still say we need to know his boot loader status because if he dosnt have s-off he has to flash the kernel (boot.img) sepreatly through adb and fast boot if he dosnt have s-off it wont work without the kernel

[Q] I am Bricked....i think

Ok, So i rooted my T-mobile G2x 2.3.3 and there were difficulties when i flashed the Cyanogen 7mod. The Rom worked but the only default was i didnt get data. Like i couldnt even get Edge. The only way to use internet and stuff was through wifi. SO then i reflashed it thinking it was a bad flash. But when i reflash through rom manager it gives me the option to downoad with google apps. so i clicked that option. It downloaded fine but on the reboot it stayed stuck on the 2nd LG screen. Am i bricked or if anyone can help id appreciate it alot.
U can't do it via rom manager. U have to flash recovery using nv flash, then u can try to flash custom rom. Remeber to wipe data and format system before flashing any rom.
U r not bricked yet
Check here to nv flash the cwm

Did you flash CWM via NV Flash. If not, do that. Then boot into recovery by holding down the power + volume down keys until you get the second boot logo. Then wipe the dalvik cache and the regular cache. That is usually why a phone refuses to boot.
Also, if your phone turns on it is not bricked. Bricked means when you press the power button nothing happens at all. You can be soft-bricked like you are, but it can be easily fixed. Nothing to panic about.
I did all of that im sorry if i gave you info wrong. Like i cant do anything it turns on but goes to the first LG screen then goes to the new LG screen with the blue streaks and it stays there. Then when i try to go into CWR it shows the LG with a blue and black loading bar below then shows as if its loading something then it just goes back to the blue LG screen and im stuck there.

You have stock recovery on the recovery partition, not CWM. You MUST flash CWM onto the physical recovery partition using NVFlash with the One Click flasher. You used Rom Manager and that doesn't install CWM onto the recovery partition. Once you have CWM properly installed you can enter recovery and revive your phone.

@OP, this is is correct. Use tga gunmann's nvflash tool from the development section. The process is super easy. Just make sure to follow his instructions closely. Just fyi, most people get errors during the nvflash process because they don't install the apx drivers appropriately, so take your time and read the instructions carefully.

Start off by wiping cache and then go to Advanced and wipe dalvik cache. If you still can't boot after that then try a full factory reset.
Just remember the first boot after wiping dalvik cache can take several minutes as android rebuilds the dalvik cache. All subsequent reboots will be MUCH faster.

Did you do as phburks said and go into advanced and wipe the Dalvik Cache. Most issues of not booting are related to the Dalvik Cache not being wiped after flashing a new rom. That is essential to getting your phone to boot again. A factory reset DOES NOT clear the Dalvik Cache.

The reason I ask is that with cm7 you have to flash 2 separate zip files. First you flash the actual cm7 zip which installs the rom and then you flash the gapps zip which installs the Google apps (market, gmail, etc). Make sure you have both on your sdcard and then flash the rom first and gapps second.

Im glad you brought that up because when i first flashed Cyanogen i did also flash gapps but after i flashed gapps thats when i wouldnt get data. Do you know the reason for this? or was it could have been another bad flash?

Not sure. I'd just play it safe, re-download both, wipe data, and reflash both. Sometimes its hard to determine which step went wrong and its best and quicker to just start with a clean slate and redo everything.
I wont be able to post for a while so good luck.

[Q] Phone doesn't boot

Yesterday i preformed a hot reboot because my phone was not installing apps correctly. I used the app Hot Reboot. When i looked at my phone again this morning it was still booting! I took the battery out and back again and pressed the power button. But how i try it keeps booting all the time! I can get into all boot modes but i don't want to flash a whole new rom 'cause i haven't backup all my stuff... What can I do? Will this be solved with flashing for example a new kernel or anything wich doen't reset my phone? I'd really appreciatie help!
Try clearing the cache and the dalvik cache in recovery, if that doesn't work tho you will most likley have to do a full wipe and re-install your rom.

Tnx but my phone still keeps on booting after wiping cache. Is there maybe a way to backup all my system 'n data files using adb or something?
It also happened to me this morning...u may again flash your device with the stock roms (froyo or gingerbread) again by using Odin Multi downloader...first power off the phone..then hold volume down+home+power on
To bring into download mode
Then flash the roms...it should restart....at least worked for me

Go into recovery mode and then go to backup and restore and then select backup. It usually takes a little while backing up the system so be patient.

I don't have clockworkmod recovery. Can I just flash the latest version of g3mod (wich involves cwmrecovery)? Doesn't it reset my phone if I flash that?
But are there no possibilities using adb? Because i run one of the first g3mod kernels...

Just flash the latest G3MOD kernel and use the CWM from that. It won't wipe any data whatsoever but if you get force closes it is recommended that you wipe the data from CWM. I don't really know how to use ADB but i think rudolf895 has a tutorial on youtube. Google 'rudolf895' and find his video that is called how to make your own custom ROM.

Problem after I tried to install CM10 A4

Hello !
I have this phone since yesterday and I have a problem.
I want to install X-Gamerz v2.6 Rom. I have done the KPE clean part, but after I flash CF Root LF2, I don't know what to do. I have reboot the phone in recovery with volume up+home+power button, I wipe data and I selected the .zip (CM10 A4) from SDCARD to flash. It starting to flash and after 3 seconds , it start to reboot. After another 3-4 seconds it says something which look like trying to flash something in recovery, but it stop very fast and it reboots again. After 3-4 seconds it says same thing, and reboots again and again . I tried to take out the sdcard, but after reboot , the recovery says something like "Waiting to mount the SDcard (20sec)" . After 20 sec it reboots again and says same thing.
I tried to follow the steps again, but I`ve got same thing. I tried to use the phone after I flashing CF Root LF2 and it work. But if I trying to flash again CM10 A4 zip or X-Gamerz zip, it enter in bootloop again.
What I doing wrong?

In addition to this, make sure the rom is in the external sd card and that you have a custom recovery (twrp or cwm) installed before hand.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2046439. Follow this guide and install TWRP, then use twrp to BACKUP TO YOUR EXTERNAL SD, wipe the cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, then install the rom.

From my experience, anything can go wrong when installing a rom, especially if you are inexperienced. I like to be extra careful and backup to external. Not everybody is as cautious as I, but not everybody has encountered as many dumb issues that I have.
Hmm maybe you accidentally chose to wipe SD card memory in twrp in the advanced wipe menu? I think that's the only way that could happen. Unless something just went majorly wrong while flashing

I was going nuts cause i could not boot into recovery on the video he goes thru it so fast when actually its different than booting into odin mode thats when i saw this ....
As soon as the phone vibrates, let go of the Power button but keep holding Volume Up + Home
When you see the "Samsung Galaxy S III" logo (not just the word "Samsung"), right after that, the next screen you should see is your recovery
Don't let go of Volume Up + Home until you see your recovery
that fixed my recovery boot issue thanks

HTC One X Evita Issue

I have S-On. I'm running the latest AOKP build for my phone. All was well but I wanted to flash MIUI Rom. I flashed the boot.img and then tried to flash the rom. I use TWRP. I wiped the cache and dalvik as usual. I have been flashing roms for awhile now but not the MIUI one. When I did the phone rebooted in to fastboot mode. I tried to go to recovery but my recovery wasn't there. I was able to reboot my phone and the AOKP rom was in tact and appeared to be running even though I tried to flash the MIUI. I navigated to ES file explorer and is says the SD card isn't mounted. Everytime I try to boot to recovery my screen goes blank and I have to use the power button depressed to get it to restart. I then used fastboot flasher 2.4 to try to flash the TWRP recovery again. It appeared to take and I got the words fastboot USB. I thought for sure problem was solved. After my phone rebooted again the SD card wasn't mounted and still isn't. I am able to use the phone and AOKP seems to be running as intended but the SD card won't mount. After I flashed TWRP again it still doesn't boot into recovery. I get an EACCES permission failed when I try to move anything to the card or try to access it. I tried team Nocturnal's method for the SD Fix but it didn't work. Am I going to have to flash an RUU file? If so, where can I get that from? Any help????
It looks like your sd is corrupt. Did you factory reset in bootloader? You didn't mention doing a full wipe when you flashed the ROM, you only mentioned cache and dalvik cache, you should always wipe cache/dalvik cache/factory reset in recovery when flashing a ROM. Also, which MIUI did you flash?
Sent from my Evita
I dont believe I did. Using trwp promts me and i follow that. Now i cant get to recovery or flash it. Any other options?

You might need to RUU but I'm not even sure if that's going to help with your sd problem. It's worth a try though. Run the RUU, flash TWRP, format your sd card. Make sure you have s-off before you run any RUU though or you'll brick.
