I recently adquri galaxy tab 2 wi-fi and wanted to know where I can get the bootanimation of this Samsung tablet, so I change the Cyamogenmod, and I've even done the procedure once when I still had my Galaxy 5, and I am now back to the world in android tablets then one would help you .....

Most "Rom's" are hardware specific, but I am sure you can find a custom Rom that has the same features that the Note II or S3 have.
What features are you trying to get on your Tablet that is part of the Note ll or S3 firmware?
Don't think of it, every device has its own configuration, data and files to communicate with device. If you try of other devices, your device will be bricked and will be of no use :banghead:

Hi, hope I´m posting at the right forum Q&A , I have two Samsung 10.1 Galaxy tabs and two Samsung Galaxy phones, I am also 61 years old and my memory capabilities are degrading, it could be an Alzheimer start or maybe just getting older and forgetting some things such as which of my phones and tablets did I flashed with a custom ROM , I look at my Pc and see the Philz touch file and some other rooting and ROM files, the problem i I can´t remember what I did, all four devices are working fine, also they are rooted but I am quite sure I flashed maybe otwo of them but cant remember which one and what ROM I flashed.
Is there a way to know this, just for my mental tranquility.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT - P5100 with Android 4.03
My Phones are .
Samsung Galaxy GT - I9300 with Android 4.0.4
Samsung Galaxy GT - I9100 with Android 4.1.2
There is kitkat for tab 3 8.0 but not for 10.1 why is that ?
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also got kitkat but we didn't
Galaxy tab 7.7 also got it but we didn't

I have have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab E sm-t377p, with Twrp on it.
It is running android v5.1.1 stock samsung
I would love to remove android and put Linux on it but after googling around I know that's not going to happen. unless someone knows something that I don't??
So what about cyanogenmod?
