[Q] Mac Os for flashing back to stock - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Dear all,
I am now on a MTD rom, and I need to go back to a BML. I'm assuming that to do that I need to either use Heimdal 1-click or the gremlin remover. Since my mother's pc has proven to give issues with its usb connection, while my mac seems way more reliable, I was wondering if there's a stock I could flash with Mac.
Thanks!

The heimdall one click works with Mac.

Where can I find it? I looked for it but I was unable to locate it

Unfortunately, a newer member can look for an Odin One-Click all day and not find it because it is called Gremlin Remover. Take that into consideration when helping.
OP: Look at the guide in the second link of my signature for help. Were you already on Gingerbread before flashing the kernel?
Sorry, meant this

Thanks. Now, do you know where can i get the original kernel of the phone?
The heimdall sets the phone completely back to stock, kernel and all
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA
and where can i get the unbrick files?
It does everything for you, sets ROM back to stock, sets kernel back to stock, and fixed your phone if it's bricked, just follow the instructions and you should be back to normal

Use hemidall it flashes everything back to stock you will also have to out the phone into download mode

To unroot just flash stock firmware via odin.

ummm...The giant link that says download?
Make sure you have the Java SDK installed for that tool! It's a .jar file.

If you're trying to run the original .jar it will have to be run under linux/OSX...though there is a windows port as well.

The .jar works perfectly fine on Windows assuming you have java installed. Windows typically requires more effort to get everything set up and Adam didn't feel like dealing with those issues by outright saying it supported Windows.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but in order to root this phone you need to flash an already rooted ROM, you must use the nvflash link that was provided for you no matter what, and then once CWM is flashed, flash a ROM.
Hope this helped!

Ding ding we have a winner. Nvflash cwm recovery then install rom. All the roms you will find here unless it specifically says for warranty purpose are rooted. Super one click hasn't worked since froyo

I rooted stock 2.3.4. IMHO what is the point of super one click if you have to flash a rooted Rom to gain root (you don't)

ill try using super one click again. if it dosent work i guess ill have to try to nv flash it again
Super one click doesn't put cwm recovery on the phone if you want rooted stock kwes has one pre made flash through cwm easy as pie guys. I dont understand why you would want your phone rooted with no recovery installed. Just makes it harder to fix if you mess up

You don't need kies, just the infuse device drivers. Install the smaller of the two files available here:

You need to visit that link from your pc, and install the drivers on your pc. If you use your phone it will redirect to an invalid address, as you have seen.
The other drivers psal linked are newer but should still work...

What I probably should have said is I don't believe our device I'd compatible but if you got it to work on an Infuse, that is great. MG2195 had done one for the Infuse but stopped when we went to JB.

So, as Andros11 said, did you grab the boot.img and insert it into the ROM you wanted to use it with? How did it work?
