dude can any one tell me what is the difference in official CM7 and JANA ROM v6.5.
i knw its a noob que bt i cudnt get to see the changelog list of CM7
we knw abt JANA ROM v6.5 changelogs..
pl rep in details.
jana rom is very cool bt it gave me bootloop when i restored the apps frm TB and i had S2E backed up so dnt y it went in bootloop and i dnt undrstand how to install the jana rom.?
the aroma installer doent allow to wipe data after flashing the rom it directly says FINISH after falshing and it reboots on clicking finish.. pl help

its very easy to change the dailer
choose the dialer u want and push it to system via root explorer and set permissions to rw-r-r.and restart ...
u will see your new dialer
and you don't have to mount system before flashing the theme just flash it simply!!

or Only Apk or ODX file to.

replace both apk and leave the odex file as it is , and set permissions properly and reboot and u will get ur desired dialer tab!!!

Rosemary font for Micromax a110

Here is a version of Rosemary Font for Micromax a110 Working 100%..
Rosemary font very populor font used in Samsung divides..
Steps..
1, download and place zip in SD card
2. Go to CWM
3. Select install zip from SD Card
4. choose zip fils.. and press yes
5. restart your fone...
It done....

I installed the fonts using ROM Toolbox Pro and after rebooting my phone is just stuck at the boot-animation and I am not even sure how to get out of this situation other than reflashing my stock ROM. :crying:
If I CWM flash the zip file for this font - no changes are seen when the phone starts
I would say stick to your default/system fonts unless you have a step-by-step+screenshot based procedure on how to install the fonts, atleast at the beginner level.

Yeah, easy way...
Open your previous rom and go to system folder and copy fonts folder from their to the zip folder which you have downloaded from this thread replace the system/fonts folder with your ROM'S folder....
Flash it as usual..

Just flashed the ZIp on my Lava Iris 501, running Lewa OS, the font is good but way too curly for my taste.
FIll check if I can bring some fonts option for Lewa Based ROM's

any one can easily get back to the old fonts... if mobile get stuck on boot becoz of fonts this file get ur mobile back...

Iam using Xperia C with latest update. I was able to deodex my rom & changing the settings to white. With lot's of search here on xda to deodex & change the settings to white. but where to find this apk or file to change it to white.

first of all you have to make a complete deodexed rom
coz in odex rom you cant just change an apk having odex file with it
here i think every one is trying to deodex whole rom
if you are done with it then install rom and then
go to system/app

I have found white Xperia settings, just change SemcSettings.apk in system/app folder.
Here you go
Edit: White background themes picker is added.

I tried to change background of settings application and I found that it cannot be changed through settings.apk. There is another way of doing that.
Decompile "SemcGenericUxpRes.apk" present in framework folder.
then go to
res>>drawable-hdpi>> here you will find a file named "semc_bg_tile.png">> replace that file with whatever background you want
then go to
res>>drawable-hdpi-960x540>> here you will find a file named "semc_bg_tile.png">> replace that file with whatever background you want
then go to
res>>drawable-mdpi>> here you will find a file named "semc_bg_tile.png">> replace that file with whatever background you want
Recompile "SemcGenericUxpRes.apk" and place it in framework folder.
By doing this you can create Custom Backgrounds in Settings!

Another alternative is to install Xposed Framework and the Holo Themer module.

how to change font on kitkat rom? just rename what font i want to roboto regular and copy it to system>font?

PerAppsFont works too, and you can change only the apps you like
