FEATURES :
What’s hot around town right now? Of course, it’s the PIE Control!
If you are running the latest ParanoidAndroid ROM, you can get PIE Control, a new way of accessing your home buttons.
Now, the good news is that you don’t need to install ParanoidAndroid ROM to get this feature. You can install LMT l app on Ur Superfone CANVAS 2 device and also even customize the buttons (up to 10 buttons + another 10 for long-press on the buttons).
Step 1. So, let’s get to it. First, you will need a rooted Android smartphone or tablet.
Step 2. Next, download thef LMT APP . Then install it .
Step 3. Open the LMT app, and hit “Start/Stop TouchService” to start the LMT launcher.
Also, you can set “Autostart TouchService” to value 1 if you want it to start when your phone/tablet reboots.
Step 4. Test your new PIE control by swiping from the center right-side edge of your screen.
Step 5. You can change the color of your new PIE control in Settings under “Pie Colors”.
Step 6. Also, the PIE Control defaults to the right side of the screen, you can also activate it for left side of the screen (for left handers), bottom of the screen, or even have it activated for left, right, and bottom.
Step 7. Next, you can customize the PIE Control buttons any way you like by going to PIE Settings and setting them up to 10 buttons and also 10 longpresses.
Step 8. When you add an app, you might not see the logo of the app.
Step 9. Simply set “Show app images” in settings to 1 or 2 to make it show app logo.
Step 10. If you set all of your buttons, you should see a nice PIE Control with 10 shortcuts!

Hey Sandy, I have a couple suggestions for ya.
First one is a bug. This is sorta hard to explain. Whenever I click intermediate or developer tab, I am redirected to the first tab (which is supposed to happen, Yes I Know That's SUPPOSED to happen) and then I click back, I am taken back to the intermediate or developer tab (which should not happen, what is supposed to happen is that I exit the app). It looks like this.
I click developer...
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then redirected (no picture)...
Then I click back.... And am in developer... (it says intermediate because I took the wrong screen shot)
Another bug is the zoom in and out control button placement. They don't work at all because of the ads (when I press zoom in or out, the ad is clicked instead). But to me they are ugly anyway and I would just take them out (if possible) because they make the app feel like a Web View of the thread, and not native (same for the next suggestion I have, in the context of the app feeling native).
That's it for the bugs, though. Thirdly, personal preference, can you make it so that when I click on "Link to Thread" (or any link at all) that the orange box doesn't surround the link.
One tutorial I hope you add is the "V6 Super Charger" thread.
And that's all I've got, like the app a lot, and there is like so many tutorials on xda that I have subscribed to (even though I don't wanna subscribe) just so I can remember what they are called when needed, and for quick access to, but this app could potentially solve the problem of them taking up space in my subscribed topics and what not.
EDIT: How did I forget this one... Can you add an app icon please? An app without an icon stands out like a sore thumb in the app drawer. (or maybe that is the icon, and is that for a reason). An app icon that came to mind when reading about it was the icon for Cydia tweaks that don't have special icons (the screw driver one).

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
I know about that tab bug.. And i am solving that and the zoom button thing in next release.
Thanx

There is no Dotted Buttons.Please Give me some solution
Please respond this I'll surely give you more reps :good:
I think that when you have a hardware menu key the app detects this and doesn't display the 3 dotted menu button (since there would be no need if you have a hardware one)
If you are rooted, may I suggest button savior: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865525
It does work without root, but I'm not sure if the menu button is supported, you'd need to try and see

Not that I know of. If you are not rooted then there won't really be much you can do
If you are rooted take a look at LMT launcher: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
Both these apps won't add the 3 dotted menu in but act as a hovering app that will allow you to use a different method to function as the menu button.

[ROOT][4.3+]One Hand Mode Enabler

Hello xda. I created an app and I want to show you.
I saw this article and i decided to make an app about it. My app can enable one-hand mode on all 4.3+ rooted androids. It's so easy to use just create a left or right hand mode and enable it, it's all Here is some screenshots:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
How to use:
-In main menu select "Set left handed mode" or "Set right handed mode" ,then create an rectangle,resize it as you wish and press back button to save.
-In main menu select "Start/stop notification service", you will see a notification about one hand mode, then you can press "right hand","Left hand" or "reset" buttons to set your hand-mode.
-If your phone failed, dont worry i created a boot receiver so your settings will be default. Just reboot
*Note: App is alpha so there may be bugs, just get a log and send me.

Seems cool, gonna Try it..
I tried this app on my galaxy s6 running XtreSoLite Deo Mod v2.3. When I enabled one handed mode my screen usable screen size was about 5x5mm. After an reset my phone went back to normal. So for me this app didn't really work.
Tried again. I didn't see i had to set the screen size myself...
After setting usable screen size my phone was almost unusable lucky this time i could turn of the app.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge app to re-map power button to volume up or volume down?

Hello,
I have a small problem. My phone power button is damaged therfore pressing it is hard (works but poorly).
I need now to re-mail the power button so i can turn off screen when i need.
Can you recommend app that can do that.
I did get app named as volume powr but it seems buggy and app named buttons re-mapper seems to be also buggy.
Use Nova Launcher. It is the best Launcher out there (even better than the stock ones) and you can turn off screen by a gesture of your choice (e.g. double tap on homescreen).

Some ROMs allow eg double tap on the status bar to switch off. BatMan/SuperMan do that.
Button Mapper does exactly what you need - like you I had some issues with it, related to its occasionally not working. This was due to it being dozed by the OS (need to stop it being optimised) and by Greenify (again, exclude it). There is a Button Mapper thread in Apps & Games here in XDA, check it out. You'll get a lot of support there, the dev visits regularly.
What is your Android version and number?
In system info (in phone) shows Android 7.0

And check please ( Build Number)
Check this Mod
For me i like it sooo much.... I downloaded from 4pda
Make clock in status bar in the middle and have also power off when you press on the right side( long press open menu for: shutdown or restart or safe mode)
But make sure your Android version and build Number the same!!
Just download and install the file and make restart
PS: any promises I'm not responsible about it
And this is the link for the mod

Adding support for official Keyboard Cover in ONE UI ROMs

[Same thread in S8 Q&A forum]
I asked this in the specific Hades android 10 ROM thread, but mabe this solution works in any One UI ROM.
AFAIK the steps to find a solution would be:
1. Figure out the processes involved in making the keyboard cover work.
2. Extracting them from a (or almost) stock ROM.
3. Flashing on top of the ROM in TWRP
4. If it doesn't boot up or is unstable, try editing the ROM myself replacing the new apps with the old ones.
5. Flash again
If it works, then perfect
If not, find a workaround with some external apps.
7.Make the keyboard stay always on screen.
8. Set up a keyboard that exactly matches the case. Maybe the native samsung keyboard from Pie itself works with this.
9. Lock the screen rotation.
10. Have a quick toggle to add and remove the keyboard cover settings and link it to the bixby button for convenience.
I have absolutely no idea about ROM development, so any help would be most helpful. thanks!

Hello @corsicanu and congrats on the great ROM.
I'm asking you and anyone who has some experience in android ROM developement if it could be possible with a bit of tinkering to add support for the keyboard cover.
I know there's some remnants of code of it in your ROM cos in first boot, in the setup wizard it was attatched on the back side and a message popped up telling me I could not use it while setting the phone up (as it said on first boot on Pie).
AFAIK, there would be several processes involved in supporting this keyboard cover, from the Samsung keyboard app itself to some other system processes. Probably some background log registers which processes start runnig in a stock Samsung ROM and from then i'd have to export them to Android 10.
I don't know how hard is to grab them from a pie ROM, replace the Android 10 parts and hope it all work together while fashing in TWRP, or just have both apps in the same ROM and disable the newer ones and start tinkering.
Is there some signature or something required while flashing it?
If you could guide me to some material to start figuring this out, It'd be most helpful. Thanks!

Hi!
How's it going trying out to make the case work?
I recently found this case on Amazon for $10 and had to get it although I don't own a S8+ myself. Next task will be to buy a not too expensive phone and start to experiment. I have no knowledge either of ROM development but will try out different ideas on how to make the case work. Would be nice to have it still working on an recently updated phone.
