Your Rom should have an option to set boot animation. Otherwise do a nandroid, and then flash the Rom again after wiping only cache+dalvik cache.
Happy to help.
I already tried to set new bootanimation.. I talking about the first screen when i power up the phone "htc quality brilliant "

Hey guys, I flashed a Rom that allows you to enable custom splash screen during setup and I hate it! Is there a .zip of the original Sensation splash screen I can just flash? A big thanks!

Did you look around? I've search high and low and still can't find a straight forward simple flash stock splash screen!

Get the image from a splash screen thread,(google qHD splash screens) and use bootflash pro from the market? It's 99 cents but it's as simple as pushing a button

For future reference, you can change your spash screen with fastboot (if S-OFF)
Code:
fastboot flash splash1 your-splash-here.img
You can find the stock spash inside an RUU/PG58IMG

You can also change it from the terminal emulator on the phone. All without ever turning the phone off (except to restart to check if it worked of course)
After I installed my Rom and rebooted my sensation it froze up.any help.

if you have successfully flashed the ruu.exe,of course there is no recovery now because you are in completely stock
now start from the beginning again
S-OFF or htcdev.com unlock
recovery
root
Still says s off and unlocked and I'm back to stock, installed cwm via one x, but still nothing, I was using viper s Rom then my recovery wudnt open just kept restarting back to lockscreen, so I did a ruu to see if it could work, then I flashed clockworkmod via.one.x.tool, phone still unlocked and s off but everytime I.try getting to recovery it gets stuck on HTC logo

Yesterday, I had the same problem. Today I fixed it by following this Tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189199
Need experts advise on this. I have a HTC J Butterfly that have been S-Off and unlocked and flashed with the latest ROM, PL99IMG_DLXB1_U_JB_50_S_hTC_Asia_TW_2.28.709.2_R_Radio_3A.26.306.25_10.17.1060.13L_release_326036.
At Bootloader mode, my HBoot shows "HBoot-1.54.0000", not the Engineering boot but when I start my phone, the splash screen still shows it is a test unit.
How to get rid of the "test" message and even during phone setup, HTC detects it is a test unit.
Thank you very much in advance!
If u r on stock recovery, it doesn't show up.
