There were already faint rumors on this on air around XDA but its not a rumor anymore

How to Flash this ROM?
This ROM is flashable via recovery
Note: First make a backup before flashing this ROM, just incase
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Wipe data/ Factory reset
3. Wipe dalvik cache in advanced menu
4. Install zip from sd card and locate this zip and flash!!
5. Reboot system
6. Done!! you are travelling in JetMOD™ 5.0

I didn't add app2sd purposely as it creates some issues on ICS ROMs.
I suggest to use link2sd instead

Take any ROM which flashes successfully.
Open that ROM and go to Meta-inf folder-->com-->google-->android and take the file update-binary and replace the one from Jet ROM with the one u took from successfully flash able ROM and then flash the Jet ROM

AFAIK there isnt any cwm flashable rom for funbook yet..all r images that have to be installed using livesuit...
so not very sure which update-binary to use

hi, thanx for this cool rom. i installed it. working fine. will report bug if find. only problem is data network symbol not showing data incoming and outgoing which is based on cm7 bug. if u can solve it....got an automatic reboot while this post

I have not got a single automatic reboot from last 15 hrs of using

i would like to inform that i was on miui-gb. but i did wipedata and wipe catch as showed in op. actually i got two auto reboot and what i found is that i was downloading app both time when i got reboot and due to reboot both time download was stopped. Overall rom is very nice:good:
edit: i got third reboot and at that time also i was downloading app from market. sorry for this much posting but i am reporting what i have found related to this rom.however i will try clean flash.

it is based on cm7 rom so according to me u can flash it on any 2.3.6 gb rom. i tried it on ddlf2 and it is working good.

No matter at all mate. At the moment i have reverted to stock rom. Will flash again and it was only me who have reported. I should wait for more feedback.

Androman thanx it worked. But it fastreboots some times for example right after I installed xda. But this not a problem. Up-down scrolling is laggy in appdrawer and settings any one have same issue ?
Edit: restart is after all googleplay app downloading. Sometimes while typing message etc.

Yes, you need to be rooted. You have to flash the file through CWM.

can we get more free ram using build.prop.....??

battery poor after applying mod
hi
i was previously on rooted stock DDLF2 with battery of atleast 15 hrs, post this update i dont even get 8 hrs with the same usage, i am Smartassv2 CFQ 300-1000 Mhz, i am on Xda_bam #15 kernel.
pls help if i should be making any other changes or use any other kernel for better battery. its a 6 month old battery.

You may, and I will be adding some more tweaks for the same. Well, you can try Swapper2 and just surf the Forum for using SDcard partition as RAM.

Finally someone is doing something for stock again..nothing can beat stock in terms battery..esp if you are on 3g full time.
the new update has made it extra smooth..but i got some doubts its eating battery quickly...will update the post after i confirm,..since im currently stuck at home and havent had a chance to fully test it..
since the mznk mods were buggy....it would be nice if you can make it after getting rid of bugs...no hurry..
also i noticed a lag when changing music in music player...im not sure if it was present before..but its there now..wonder why...

Unstable
I don't know why but after flashing this mod my Phone has become really unstable, no doubt one can say the performance has increased but the instability has increased. Even while changing tracks the phone lags alot
i tried changing governor etc but nothing helped

Instructions to install this rom:
[*]download the rom package
[*]extract it and u will find two zips : Part 1 and part 2
[*]place both zips in the root of ur sd card
[*]boot into recovery (switch off--> vol up + power buttons )
[*]perform a full data wipe (factory reset)
[*]go to update from sd card and select part 1
[*]let it install .. Wen its done boot the phone and after it boots again switch off and boot into recovery
[*](no need to do a factory reset here ) then select install update from sd and select part 2

I would like to tell u that the best thing that we have in a50 is its kernel supports swap by default which is the best feature I have found out to run the phone very smoothly .... so u can try swap partition and pure performance together for best result .... but swap will give u the independence to play any game ...

Yeah sure

ROM is awsumn with stock features
Music fluctuation problem solved which was seen in stock also screen flickering when on auto is solved.
Smart gestures including look away pause are working great.
Battery backup is good
Default keyboard is Xperia
2 things I didn't found as mentioned in OP
greenify pre-installed and samsung themed status bar
No lags buttery smooth
I hav attached some screenshots check it
ROM is BUG FREE

I think I get the same camera quality in any rom or I might not notice in detail
I found that the colors in this rom are very dull
Using snap for clicking pics

I tried to port to another mt6589 device.. It works fine except:
- cant adjust screen brightness
- no deepsleep
- no init. d support.
Can you help me?

Thx for your answer. This is first time I encounter this issue, I have ported a tons of roms. I used porting method replacing some files and folders, then I edited updater. Script only changing partitions

Few Questions?
XTheme Engine? Where is it in the Rom? Downloaded themes and installed them but I am unable to find XTheme.. Downloaded it from an external source but it refuses to install stating that already a version is present with a different signature. Also from xposed there is the Themes app but it has no interface. Complete stuck. What is the solution to it?

I install this ROM just fine

Yes I did. Using Titanium Backup I removed the Themes app completely.Then after restarting the phone the XTheme app installed smoothly. There is still a bug though.. Even if I have enabled the app using Xposed, on opening the app it shows a error. Simply press the back button once and it disappears and you are good to go.
