[Q] Google Play..."My Apps" list question re: stock/pre-installed apps - General Questions and Answers

Upfront Info:
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4; 32gb; MDL version
Rooted & TWRP Recovery using the CASUAL java tool
*novice* android user...this is my first android device
So I just picked up the phone last Friday the 12th at an AT&T store. At the store they walked me thru an initial setup and because I could remember the password, I used an older gmail account that is more of a throw away account and not the one I would prefer to use as the primary Google Play account.
I did some other searching and as recommended I have done a factory reset and then a cache wipe (this was prior to rooting and TWRP fwiw) and then when going thru the setup again used the preferred gmail account.
All this is fine with one exception. That is that the "My Apps" lists on the phone vs. via the web do not match specifically in regard to the preinstalled/stock apps (like BlurbCheckout, AT&T FamilyMap, down to TripAdvisor). When I enter the Play Store app on the phone and go thru Menu > My Apps, all these apps show up in the Installed & All lists. However, when I log in to gmail and then go to Play and look at My Apps, these apps are not listed. Only the 2 or 3 free apps that I've downloaded so far show up.
I've been in and out of the Google Play store both on the phone and web. I've rebooted a couple times. FWIW, it did take about 3 hrs for the apps to be listed in the Play Store on the phone but it has been over 24hrs and they still do not show up when logged in to the web. I've done more than one sync.
Some of them have updates available, so I can presumably get some of them to show up that way but not all have updates available at the moment.
Any suggestions on what to try to get the preinstalled/stock apps to show up in both places?
Or is my next step contacting Google Play support?

[Q] Nexus 5 "My Apps" Google Play Problem

When I bought my Nexus 5 (Android 4.4) I had no problems with Google Play.
I could see the preinstalled system apps under "My Apps", it updated automatically... All O.K.
Then I updated to Android 4.4.2, unlocked bootloader, root and it still works fine.
A few days ago I decided to do a Hard Reset (Wipe Data/Factory Reset "Fastboot Mode").
When it was done, I decided to create another Google Account to buy apps, sync chrome, etc. because I use the other one as work email.
When I entered Google Play to see why preinstalled apps (Hangouts, Gmail, Play Music, etc.) wasn't updating automatically, in "My Apps", under "Installed" there's a loading wheel that never ends, and under "All" there's no app listed.
If I install an App, it appears on both lists (Installed and All), but the others don't.
When I search manually system apps, it says that it's installed and let me update, and after that, it appears on both lists.
I want to fix that: Apps not appearing in "My Apps" unless that I update those Apps, despite I have them installed in my Nexus 5.
Thank you, and sorry for my english

Have you tried clearing the Play Store data?

"All" apps shows only those installed under the presently signed-in account. To access the old account's apps, you need to add that account back onto your phone. Then you'll see that both accounts will be available in a drop-down in the Play Store.

[Q] Problem with the Play Store HELP!!

Hello,
I have just done a factory reset to my Note 3 (SM-N9005) and signed in with a new google account, and when I went to the Play Store I couldn't see any apps under the my apps menu. It's like my pre-installed apps are not detected by the play store under my apps, yet if I went to the specific page of the app (like gmail or evernote) it shows that the app is installed and it gives me the update button. Also if I install an app from an APK file (like buzzfeed and ccleaner) they will have the same problem.
this is what I tried:-
1- I did multiple factory reset to my device.
2- I revoked my device's access to my account and signed in again
3- I revoked the access of the other account to my device.
4- I reviewed my Google account settings across all the products that I use and I couldn't find any thing (to my knowledge) that might cause this problem.
5- I tried to stop the Google Play Services and then turning it back on and tried to clean it's storage.
6- sync app data from my account
7- I created a new account and it had the same problems
To me it seems like the problem is my google account wont allow Google Play Services to sync correctly but I don't know what settings I should change in my google account to fix this. ( or maybe not, you are the experts )

Paid apps TAB disappeared after Lolipop update

After update to Lolipop my market shows only Free apps and says not available in your country VPN doesn't help
Did you use multiple Google accounts earlier? At least I have old apps purchased using my old Google account so I need to add that account to Nexus and use that in store to install paid apps.
No I have been using this account all the time, the thing is I have mad lot's of purchases with this account but I don't know what can be wrong, My Country was not even listed in Google Play supported country list but I still was able to buy apps, I can see paid apps from browser but until the moment I log in, I even checked my old gMail account I signed in and was able to see PAID apps but once I refreshed the page only free were left (( That's why I hate google ....

Are you sure you are looking in the correct spot? You can see any previous installed apps if you go into My Apps, then into All. You can even install all of them at once if you push longer on one app, then on all the apps you want to install. I don't have that Tab anymore, it's something related to the last version of Play Store.
Well I can install apps I've purchased before they are visible in MyApps TAB but not in General to Buy them Looks like Country restriction is working again somehow

[Q] New phone, first time on Android - no Apps show up in my Apps?

I just set my Mother-in-law up with a new Nexus 5 updated to Lollipop. She had an existing gmail account that we used to sign in at the phone setup. However, when opening the Play Store, I notice that none of the preinstalled apps (Gmail, Calendar, etc) show up in My Apps. However, searching for these apps in the Play Store show they're installed and give the option to Update them. Do I really need to do this one by one for each app for an account that has never used Android? After updating an app, then it shows up in my apps, but it seems like a giant waste of time to have to sync them with my account.
That really doesn't seem right.. I'd try a simple factory reset first and see if it works then.
Actually confirmed this with another account too (never had signed into Android before). Guess maybe the easier thing to do might be do it through the web link to Play store.

Can I access just Google Play Store on Samsung android device?

I am trying to use a couple of my old Samsung Note 4s to record video. Ive reset them both, without signing into any account. Its been working perfectly. Recently I came across a plug-in app for OBS called DroidCam OBS. I was able to install the APK just fine without signing into any Google account (downloaded from PC, Transfered to phone, and installed). But Im wanting to get the "Pro version" and it seems to require that I log into google. Is there any way to log into my google account be restrict it to JUST Google Play Store? No access to gmail, contacts, or anything. I know I can "change" the settings, but thats after its already synced. I don't want it to sync at all.
