[Q] How do I add ANY widget to the lockscreen? - General Questions and Answers

Hi there
I downloaded Car Widget from the playstore.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add it to the lockscreen (swipe left)
I know there is a way, but I can't find any solutions in the Play store
Can someone fill me in here

The app must support it. If the app hasn't been updated or doesn't support lockscreen widgets then it won't work

Download widget locker...

You talking about the Flip Clock and Weather?
If so, there are plenty of alternative apps on the market for free that you can use that allow you to have the features and skin it as well.
Beautiful Widgets
Flip Clock
and more... (those are just the 2 I have)

Widgets on the lockscreen

Is it possible to change a app icon on the lockscreen to a widget?
more importantly the wifi hotspot settings button.
I think if you include it on the bottom of the 4 places that HTC uses, they should appear on the lockscreen

The lockscreen only shows what app icons are currently in your dock, and since you can't put widgets in your your dock it won't work.
Try widgetlocker app if its something you really need. It's a paid app but worth it, lots of cool options.

Use WidgetLocker from Play market. It might have that feature.
Right now I'm using Notification Toggle from the Play store.. and there are several other apps that do the same thing.. Lets you put many different settings in your notification pull-down which you can access from lock screen

Launcher Motorola

Hey guys, I bring the motorola launcher with circle clock widget. Not my work, just tried it and failed.
Enjoy it.
You have ICS and not need root. Install the 3 app normally.

While the initial look is similar to the Motorola widget, it's completely different. Just a few examples.
There are 3 rings, from left to right, clock, weather and battery.
Clock widget flips to show either analog or digital. It also shows notifications for voice mails and text messages.
Weather widget has animation to show sun, clouds etc. It can also be flipped to show weather in different cities.
Battery widget also has animation.
It's really a beautiful widget.

LG Conceirge Widget

Does anybody have a link to the default Accuweather widget?
I'm looking to customize the look of my phone using Nova-Launcher and actually like that widget (didn't see it as an option)
Thanks and I appreciate any help.

Ah thanks, I'll search for it. You know if it has the little tip under the widget too? I thought those were pretty unique.
It does but it is based off the forecast which then triggers a certain text that the person entered. You can change what it says to your liking though.

Not too bad. Just downloaded Zooper, and can't find it. Do you happen to know the name, or the best way of finding it?
Thanks again
