[Q] how to update Cyanogenmod in Tipo

I've installed CM10 [FXP 152] on my Xperia Tipo. Now i Wanna update my rom to FXP202 but i don't wanna download the whole rom file so is there any way to update it to latest version ???

No. They did rom and kernel fixes. Download whole thing. It wait for 2 days and get 203

i too wanna update my tipo to CM10.(i'm on stock rom right now)..can you please make step by step instruction ,in clear words ,how you install it on your tipo..becouse i don't want to brick my phone..you can also make toturial after installing FXP 203 succesfully.

Try flashing without factory reset, cache partition or dalvik cache. If you're getting many FC then you have to wipe cache.

if bricked is it possible to revive it with flash tool..or ....my phone will get hard brick

Again there is very small possibility of hardbrick, idiopathic reasons.
If you're not ready to risk it, then don't do it

Porting Paranoid Android

i have been trying to port the Paranoid android Rom for xperia miro recently :cyclops: but havent been very succesfull . i have tried the various ways found over the net but the closest i got was to a Bootloop.In two other instances an Error 6 and an Error 7 while flashing.
i was using FXP 205 as base Rom an the PA released for the xperia devices (2.5 me thinks)
If any body is willing to help i can post the logcats for the errors..
i really wanted to use the Pie controls and at the moment cant afford a nexus so any help will be appreciated.:angel:

It allows you to use pie.

I have managed to port PA 3 to miro.although a little buggy at the moment but all the core processes are working fyn..
I am in the need of some testers so that I can upload the final ROM..

Procedure:-
Download Google Now port_VSBRT (see DOWNLOADS)
Copy it to SD card
now boot into cwm
wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache
flash "Google Now port_VSBRT.zip"
now again wipe dalvik cache and reboot

Works smoothly with my xperia tipo dual, Gimlo 1.2 Rom.
Always missed the google now of my old nexus, thanks again.

Hi, I have ported this successfully and its functional and loving it on Gilmo 2.0 ROM.
But though, I have started working on some thing with autovoice and tasker, the tasks are abruptly failing , which has run very well before.
I doubt this is causing the issue, but i am not sure though.
If you can let me know how to revert the changes it would be helpful, other wise I have to re-install the ROM again.

- INSTRUCTIONS to Install CWM Recovery - (For Everyone)

Install CWM Recovery for Xperia C2304/2305 devices​
Your phone must be rooted
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* on your phone. Click service info, check software info.
-If your S1 Boot Version is 2.14.J.2.6 , 2.14.J.2.13 or 2.14.J.2.16​
1) Download recovery.img from below
2) Put recovery.img to your phone's memory(not into folder)
3) Download Mobileuncle Tools from play store and open, click Recovery Update and choose your file.
It is done :good:
-If your S1 Boot Version is 2.14.J.0.68
1- Download 16.0.B.2.16 ftf version from below.
2- Use wmshua perfect flash program to flash this ftf file

We can flash new updates via wmshua program. We just need ftf files.
Swipe your finger from right to left, it is back button

In a short time, i will upload 16.0.B.2.13 version

Guys pls don't pull usb cable when its stuck @ 97% pls leave for 10 to 20 so finishes 100% other wise you will miss few apps like play store etc..
also apps like sony live, sony music.I think this apps are country/region specific
I left it to finish & it rebooted by itself & everything is working fine.

first I flased this frm op link 16.0.B.2.6 & then converted this 16.0.B.2.13 to ftf & flased its working also the S1 version also changed.

I wrote here an entire article about new CM11 by Mr. Stenly & created a tutorial how to install it:

If you're not in the Xperia L Official Facebook Page,join and then you'll be able to read.Link for the facebook page is also in my signature.
Long story short : BT doesn't work & internal storage works 50% ( you can't move any app installed from playstore to internal storage,however you can browse it with a file manager,use it as normally,put large games (the cache i mean) and then install the app and it's working).
Camera is better,kitkat is faster,it has all the cm11 features which are awesome,no other important bugs so far (after 2-3 days of testing).

Tried to install but failed due to some reasons...!!!!
And I Will not install it.because it is buggy.

I would say the camera on stock .14 firmware because sony updated it and it is now
fully functional on lowlight sceneries

If you're on 14 fw,you can try this apk...i've compile it from stock using highrate code with this guide
edit the name and push to system with rwrr permission
don't forget to edit media profiles too
