Wifi hot spot means to broadcasting capability, i.e in case of a router it has hotspot which broadcast the network. router only connects devices to it's network or gateway. router dont use this wifi to get connected to another network. because it is impossible to do broadcasting and also to receive another broadcast from another device using only one gateway.
So if you are connected to a network using wifi then how you will be able to broadcast or create a wifi hotspot??
May be I made you understood..

[Q] App to turn on Tmobile wifi calling on specific network?

I love TMO wifi calling because the cell signal at my house is really spotty being blocked by hills. The problem I have is that wifi calling has to be manually turned on every time. If I am out running around and forget to turn off wifi calling, the phone would try to connect to public wifi which I don't want to do. Does anyone know of an app that would automatically turn on wifi calling when connected to a specific network then automatically turn off once the connection is lost? Basically I am looking to have wifi calling only when I am home.

router that will share phones hotspot wifi connection

Looking for a router that will use my phones mobile hotspot as its internet connection.
I.e I turn on wifi tether router hotspot, router connects to it and shares internet with all devices.
Only reason I want this is because I use my phone as broadband but don't want to turn it on and off to print or have a separate router just for a printer

Wifi hotspot 5ghz, stock rom

I'm using my OPO, unlocked/rooted/latest stock rom, as our office phone. It's connected to a desktop phone via bluetooth. Problem is, when we get calls, the bluetooth interferes with the connection to the wifi extender, and the extender loses connection. I want to use 5ghz hotspot on the OPO, but even though I can select it when creating the hotspot, it doesn't really broadcast in 5ghz. It's still 2.4ghz. I can verify with wifi analyzer app on another device.
Anyone else get 5ghz tethering working? How about another rom, is 5ghz tethering working on other roms?

Can't see certain wifi networks

I just got this watch today and I'm unable to see certain wifi networks, particularly my campus wifi. I am able to connect to my cell phone's hotspot but that uses up my data plan very quickly. I downloaded this wifi manager app that lets me see my campus wifi but still doesn't connect to it.
Is there anything else that I can do to connect to my campus wifi?
Alternatively, can I get internet through bluetooth if my cell phone is connected to wifi? Is there a setting for this?
Thanks
Seems this watch is not supporting 5G network. You may check if your campus has 5G and 2.4G supported.

Wifi + 3G/4G simultaneously?

Hi,
my problem: I'm using my U11 in an aircraft for navigation. A anti collision device (FLARM/ADS) is connected via Wifi. That works fine.
BUT unfortunately I cannot connect to the web via 3G/4G at the same time.
I tried to set "Use always mobile data" in developer settings... no success.
As long as Wifi is on no chance to connect via mobile Data.
Is ther any chance to solve my problem? THX for your help!
All android is like this I think.
Connect to wifi = kill the SIM internet, cannot enable both on the same time.
It's not a new topic btw, like when we use a GoPro and using the hotspot to control it.
Fast network switching is as close as it comes but it still won't run wifi and cell at the same time. Wifi and cell must be possible because wifi calling uses WiFi and cell (when 4g is connected).
Can you not use wifi hot-spot in some way?.
