What is Saturn III?
It is a custom rom for HTC One SV. I have it running on my K2u (non-LTE device) but it should also run on k2ul (but as long nobody has tested, only for k2u. You know this sentence meanwhile i think).

No, not from the movie

What is the main goal of this rom?
Mostly stock look, slightly modded here and there to make things look better, improved or more useful. At least there are the most mods we have inside, so its a little bit a "All In One rom".

Notice:
To make it clear, this is just for fun! I have a little time atm and fun on doing this, so i did. I don't know if i will find time in future to make more improvements or solve bugs. I promise nothing, i only do if i wanna do and can do!
If there is a bug that bothers you and i can not reproduce or have no time to fix it, go back to your previous rom.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Wifi don't work, what should i do?
Flash the boot.img with fastboot (again) or go to a kernel Thread (you'll find them in my Index Thread, linked in my Signature) and flash the kernel.zip & boot.img from there.
What is Jmz Power Saver disabler for?
Its an easy way to disable the power saver notification in status bar:
It disables not the complete function, you can still use it under Settings -> Power.
But most people don't need it permanently in the status bar.
You can also get the app in Play Store. Also check out the other useful apps by Jmz

No, i don't think so. I don't know, how to integrate.

just installed on my k2_ul - no problems
I needed to run superuser zip so i could get ROOT to run titanium backup restore,
but then because swapped internal and external memory - it cant find my titanium backup files?
hmmm, then i just go to: MENU - Preferences - BACKUP SETTINGS - Backup Folder Location - DETECT - Whole Device
then it finds it all in: /storage/sdcard0/ext_sd/TitaniumBackup
and it finds my old Ti backup
happy!

Yes, let Titanium auto-dedect the backup folder http://db.tt/C2MCPmI8

wifi doesn't want to turn on, it only says turning on...

good day splatterhand, i decided to try out ur saturn rom on my cricket wireless htc one sv today and wanted to share this. everything worked great except mobile data. the rom looks nice and ran smooth. my wifi worked but there was no connection to mobile data. it showed as on but said "disconnected because service is unavailable". would u happen to know how to fix mobile data? of course i went back to my nandroid because i need a phone for calls and text but would like to play with ur saturn rom. my cricket htc one sv has a sim card unlike the boost mobile version. also i thought it was funny to see all the english choices except for a united states choice. thanks for all ur great work. hope to hear soon on a possible fix. thank you

splatterhand i need ur help. i guess i was completely wrong about flashing this rom on a cricket htc one sv. i cant seem to connect to 4g lte anymore. i might of killed my 4g lte sim card. can u help me please??

Wildfire port started by SebastianFM which worked itself over to the HeroGSM to the Droid Eris and finally to our Heroc.

Not to be mistaken for thoughtlesskyle's salsa rom.. this uses the wildfire base everyone was working on before sebastianfm introduced the salsa port. This rom comes from a build by tazzpatriot in the droid eris forums, but heavily modified to get certain things to work on our heroc like bluetooth for example. This would not have been possible without all the work put in by thoughtlesskyle and everyone else who initially started porting sense 2.3 to our phones, so if anyone deserves thanks it should be them.

NOTE1
Starting on RC2 the "Format All.zips" aren't needed anymore, The Updater-Script formats everything before flashing.
NOTE2
On RC2.1 the updater-script doesn't format the "/data" directory, so all apps you installed should be preserved (It still formats everything else: /BOOT /CACHE /SYSTEM). If you want a fresh install just "wipe data/factory reset" via recovery before flashing the ROM. (It's still recommended to do a full wipe everytime.

Q: How fast/smooth is this ROM?
A: That's up to the user really, only thing I can say is to try the ROM for yourself and you decide.
Q: Is this ROM stable enough for everyday use?
A: For me it is, as it has all the basics working.
Q: Is messaging working?
A: Yes
Q: Why do I keep getting errors while flashing in recovery?
A: First off it's not the ROM's fault, it usually is the recovery. Try re-flashing your recovery or try a new one.
Q: I was using Firerat's or I'm coming from an aosp rom and I'm getting errors trying to flash this ROM?
A: Flash a new recovery, cwm 2.5.0.7 is preferred.
Q: Which recovery do I use then?
A: The recommended recovery is clockworkmod 2.5.0.7
Q: I keep getting fc's why is that?
A: First try fixing permissions through ROMmanager.
Q: I still get fc's after fixing permissions?
A: Try getting a logcat of the program that is causing problems and post it up. That's the only way I can help in that situation.
Q: You posted a link for something in one of your posts, is that an update?
A: No, I'll let everyone know when there's an update available which you'll be able to download from the first post.
Q: I can't update my PRL with this ROM?
A: Use a sense 2.1 ROM like liquidsense or nfx to do that.
Q: This ROM feels kinda sluggish, why is that?
A: Scroll through the homescreens and go into and out of the app drawer etc. on first boot or on reboot, it takes a while for it to warm up. It should be snappier after a while.
Q: It's still sluggish after doing the above?
A: Slow down with using downloaded apps, use the task manager to kill some of the unused apps after a while. This is still a sense rom and a pretty heavy one for the heroc so don't expect it to be a speed demon all the time.

Autoinstall tutorial for dummies
Autoinstall tutorial for dummies
Thanks tinky1 for that one
Autoinstall script (txh RMK) will install all apps in sdcard/RCTeam/app.user folder.
Option 1.
If you are coming from ANY other ROM, do this before flashing RCMix with autoinstall script.
Create a folder named RCTeam on the root of sd card, in that folder, create a subfolder named app.user.
(OPTIONAL) Use file explorer which allows you to go to data folder in your PHONE memory. You need to go to data/app folder, then select all wanted apps, copy and paste them to your newly created RCTeam/app.user folder on sd card root. I used Root Explorer, not sure if other file explorers will have same functionality.
Put all your apps you usually install after a fresh install into RCTeam/app.user
Flash ROM, sit back and enjoy autoinstall
Click to collapse
Option 2.
If you already flashed RCMix with autoinstall script, do this to make your apps autoinstall on next reboot.
Put all your apps you usually install after a fresh install into sdcard/RCTeam/app.user folder
Skip step 1. and use steps 2. and 3. from Option 1.

found another "small" issue, maps are not installing, will make a RC2 before i go to bed.
hey, im not actually using this rom im on insertcoin but i thought i would share some base related problems to see if its replicated on this rom also as you share the same rom
firstly, news widget ONLY displays headlines, no preview of article, this is only in the widget. you should notice straight away as it makes the widget feel emppty with large gaps between articles.
secondly friend stream widget is not displaying time stamps below posts
lets see if any guys on your rom gets these issues too, thanks

seems like the same issues... need to port those proper, now its pretty dirty
anyway, i think there soon will be a proper 2.3.4 european leak, with all apps there, so there will not be any need for porting.

those features are probably broken as of now. and the ville ruu is not a leak, it's a developer's preview. although there's "release-keys" in the build.prop, but it's still watermarked. that's the weird part of it..

What is behind Blue Donkey?
With their permission i picked up the work of Guspeed & i2f from androidforums.com, because both have another device now.
Many work was done by them, but many work was left for me because it seems the US brothers use different icons as we on our european phones. This wasn't clear for me, as i started. Uncounted framework icons had to be changed and implemented into the european files. Far more than 50 "Test-apk's" were flashed, to see, if it works like i want.
The result is Blue Donkey-Rom

What is the main goal of this rom?
To provide a more stock Android look or lets say a fresh, different look and still to keep HTC Sense and its widgets.
It is not meant:
- to replace HTC Sense! (but you can do of course by Rom Cleaner or with another launcher)
- to copy the complete stock Jelly Bean look in every icon
(i replaced only things i want and like)

I have it running on my K2u (non-LTE device) but it should also run on k2ul (but as long nobody has tested, only for k2u.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can i get the clock on Homescreen, like in your picture?
Its not there on Homescreen after first boot, cause i don't know how to do.
Remove the HTC clock widget and go to Settings -> Personalize -> Add to Homescreen
Scroll to the right until you see the clock widget you want and drag and drop it to the screen/place you want.

Thanks! But only possible because you "pushed me" in the right direction.
@ all
Next version will have AOSP Recent Apps.
v1.10 is up!
Download link and changelog in first post.
As there are only minor changes i think you can skip the full wipe step in recovery and only wipe cache and dalvik cache if you come from v1.00. But if you have a bug then, try a full wipe first and see if it still exist, no bug reports without a full wipe!

Download the hTC_bootup_one.zip from its thread and copy it with a root explorer
(you must allow your sytem to be Read/Write) to system/customize/resource. Set permission to rw-r--r--.

thanks, i could not find that function in ES File Explorer, so used Solid Explorer to adjust the permissions
Its in every explorer different and to be honest, i more often use Root Explorer.
There comes an option up, if you tab and hold the file.

This rom has more "optical" changes. Never compared ram. Maybe someone else.
Nice and awesome ROM!
Two questions from me:
1. Is there any way to change the lockscreen wallpaer?
2. How to hide the battery percentage in status bar?
Thanks.
1. Lock wallpaper is the same as Homescreen wallpaper.
2. There is no option to remove, but i can try to make a battery without.
Check the thread later on.
Flash this for Battery without %:
Blue Donkey 1.10_Battery without %.zip
Thanks to UOT Kitchen!
:good::good::good:works well,
but the battery outline is too bright, not consistent with other status bar icons.
Another thing:
At lock screen, if I press the recent app button, it unlocks directly, which is not the correct bahaviour. If you can fix this, that will be good. It is an annoying bug, sometimes it unlocks itself if i put it in my pocket.
(My display settings: press the button for menu function, press and hold for recent apps...)
Thanks
