Which twrp do you have? Try with different version like 2.3..x.y. You can find older versions on Internet, or newer... Flash it trough bootloader, with command fastest flash recovery name_of_recovery.img
EDIT: I see now that you have TWRP 2.6.0.0. I didn't even know that this version exists for our phone. No wonder you are having troubles. Try with 2.4.1.0 or lower!
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
Use TWRP 2.4.1.0 i think its the best.

try titanium backup to fix this
Had no problem rooting mine after update. I am getting a message in titanium about non journal su access, it offers to fix this but fails. Any ideas on how to solve? Touch screen sensitivity is perfect now.

Are you sure you executed the batch file in the right folder (ICS_rooting)? Because adb.exe (and the required dlls) are included in the download.

Yes i'm germanischen.
This Version was preinstalled on my tablet when i got it.
When i update now, i would use the offered update when i check for updates on my tablet.
Is this the right way?

Well, I don't know whether Germanic is available as a language , but yeah that's the easiest and safest way to proceed.
My language on the tab is german.
So i have no problems and nearly all works fine.
But the touch sensity coult be better, so I hope that the update will bring better sensity than now.

it seems it the case
As I got my hands with a full listing of Acer firmwares, I think those datas could interest some members here.

Hey guys i m seeing many people wanna get stock rom and flashing RUU and bricking their device so here you have a small guide to get back to stock rom without RUU
Before we start we need some things-
->Custom Recovery--------------------->TWRP||CWM(Newest version is recommended)
->Stock Rom in zip format(you have 2 options acoording to the kernel you want)
-->Stock Rom without EXT filesystem support--------------------->Download from here
-->Stock Rom with EXT2/3/4 file system support----------------->Download from here(Download this if you want to use memory scripts like int2ext,mounts2sd,etc.)
Changelog-
-->New Kernels build from stock htc source
-->De-odex
-->Init.d support
rest cant remember as i had build them long back
Instructions-(Assuming you already have flashed a Custom Recovery)
-> Copy the rom downloaded to sd card
-> Reboot in Recovery Mode(Remove the battery and reinsert it then hold volume down and power button to go to Hboot and then recovery)
-> Wipe System,Cache,Dalvik-Cache,SD-EXT,Factory Rese(and Boot if you use CWM Recovery)
-> Install or flash the stock rom you downloaded and placed in sd card(DO NOT flash Gapps as Stock Rom already has it inbuilt)
-> Reboot to System
-> Setup phone as you did for the first time when you brought it
Note-
Kernels Used in this are made by me from source
Flashing this stock rom does not change your Radio version so any person from different zone can flash it without effecting their Radio version
for future
another one
Great Work! :good:

If this is deodexed, it's better to not play with system updates.
Yes!! Applying system update made the phone boot into recovery and then I got a bootloop...so don't do any updates!
If someone knew there is an option of optimize storage in settings which on a rooted stock Rom makes the phone boot into recovery, but its only in latest system update which eventually failed :/
So is there any way u can upload updated zip? @yash?

Hi all,
I have a great news
http://developer.sonymobile.com/201...for-a-range-of-unlocked-xperia-devices-video/
Bootloader is compatible with open devices roms and also enables real recovery (Volume Down + Power)
to flash recovery partition on device you have to
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Happy Cooking
J
PS.
in case latest software does not appear just press "all Services"
flash latest software available and on top new loader
Just tested, and it works good.
Not having separated recovery is probably the thing that bothered me most in Sony development.
And can confirm PM on 3.10 is working now.
Thanks jerpelea!

Bootloader version you can see in EMMA after you plug in the phone, about certain versions, I don't know.
@galaxyfreak
I managed to flash New bootloader and then "recovery.img" on it!
So is that recovery stays there no matter what firmware/kernel i put on the phone?

Why "CM Recovery"?
CWM is all the time being the Best and popular recovery and have a backup option!
Maybe wrong thread to ask such questions?

It is a wrong thread but screw it.
Because I build CM ROMs and CM recovery is default there.
I do agree that they've dropped CWM way too early, but I think it's not compatible with 5.0 zip layout, so it's either this or TWRP (which is kind of an OmniROM thing).

Hello I like to ask you is the new recovery that you provided in your CM12.1 thread compatible with stock official kitkat roms?

@galaxyfreak
OK thanks for the reply. I have used the fastboot method to flash the recovery and found no change to that part of the system.
Just flashed new bootloader and yes: PM is working now with latest kernel/AOSP.
Thank you!!
Further testing will be done and posted in other M2 forums.

My friend rooted my Note4 and installed a custom ROM. The phone worked great for a while but then something happened. When I start the phone up it goes to start up loop. When I reboot to recovery it says the OS is missing. I don't have enough knowledge to solve this issue so I have to ask you if you could help me to get my phone working. I don't know what information I should give but I'm sure you know the right questions. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. There's no "Finland" on sammobile firmware download page. What now?
EDIT: I found "Nordic countries". I downloaded the version 5.1.1 / N910FXXS1PPF1 - N910FNEE1POK1 because some ppl have said the Note 4 gets very slow if the version 6.0.1 is flashed.
