1). Download this update.zip and paste in to your Sd Card Than witch Off your Mobile.
2). Hold volume up Button And At that Time Hold Home Key As well as Hold Power Key And switch On your Phone
3). Now your Phone reboot In To recovery Menu than Select Apply update From sdcard than Chose Update.zip which u downloaded Already And than click on home Button To Apply Update Now reboot Your Phone
4).Check when Phone On in menu You can see the Superuser App
Now u Root your Device Successfully........

Hello All, Today I will show you how to root Samsung Gio S5600 in easy way.
Requirements:
1 Secure Digital Card (SD CARD)
and those 2 zip files below
Step 1:
Download ZIP files and copy them into (SD CARD).
Step 2:
Shutdown your phone and hold [OK Button and Power Key].

Step 3:
Press [Volume Down Key] to move down to "apply sdcard: update.zip" then press OK Button
Step 4:
Remember first select "Unroot.zip", Then do Step 2&3 and select "Update.zip"

This is a tutorial about how to upgrade your Android phone (Galaxy Gio)
These are the steps :
1. Download GB DXXKP6 on here or here.
2. Open the file that u have downloaded and unrar it to a directory that u wanna drop it.
3. Open Odin 4.42, u can download it here.
Fill GIO OPS that u can download here, on select OPS,
and fill,
BOOT : APBOOT_S5660DXKP6_CL561540_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
PHONE : MODEM_S5660DXKP6_CL561540_REV03.tar.md5
PDA : CODE_S5660DXKP6_CL561540_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
CSC : GT-S5660-MULTI-CSC-OLBKP6.tar.md5
EFS & One Package (none).
4. Turn off your phone, and get into download mode (press Home+volume down+Power on/off Button).
5. Connect your phone to a PC/Laptop.
6. Wait till your phone is connected to.

3. Now uncheck all options except recovery
4. 4.choose Option->USB Model，click USB Model,
Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High
Speed, click High Speed
5. Now turn off your phone and remove battery for 2 sec and then put back after that connect ur phone via usb cable
6. click Firmware download and begin to download
7. Now everything is done, hold volume up and down keys and power key to go into recovery

Grant Root Permission
