Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S NFC???

Hi guys
I'm concidering to buy a Mi Mix 2S on Gearbest. But I am confused on wether or not this device has NFC.
The customer Q&A on gearbest quotes the following:
Quote 1 *Hello Customer, Xiaomi MI MIX 2S 4G Phablet supports NFC. *
Quote 2 *Hello Robert, We are sorry that it does not support NFC.*
Hope you guys can help me out on this one.
Thx.
It supports NFC, I have an option for it in the settings and it's on.
I think your second answer might be from someone who just assumed it didn't because most Xiaomi phones don't.
You can see it listed on https://www.mi.com/mix2s/specs/
Yes it supports nfc (source: I own the device.. )
NFC is working here too
It has nfc.
The phone has NFC, i own a Mix 2S. Those site vendors really don't know what they are selling.

Vivo Next (S) Ultimate chinese version!

Hello, i want to know if the Vivo Next Ultimate (S), come with all languages, or only Chinese?!
If is only chinese/ english, is it possible install another rom? The global rom?!
I think this will be the global rom, note only the 128gb works, any 256gb will be Chinese with Google added.

I'm thinking in buy or Vivo Nex Ultimate or Mi Mix 3, just waiting for my friend. Both are beautifull phones, and both will come with Chinese rom XD~
I don't mind, but i don't know if the chinese version is so different from the global version :x
I saw that Vivo comes with all bands, this is a plus.
I bought all the previous Mix line, I'm a great fan of the first Mi Mix.., but the 3 does not appeal me.. maybe due to the weight, perhaps the small battery, or the slide solution.
I think the Vivo Nex is still the better choice, if you don't worry about the size.
even if the Xiaomi is certainly superior in the camera
however, its lower price is certainly a plus

Why is there no forum section for Xiaomi Mi 9 (there is only one for the SE and 9T)

Hello, I wanted to buy the Xiaomi Mi 9, but my requirement for phones to buy, is that there has to be decent custom ROM support.
Either I am blind or there really is no Xiamoi Mi 9 forum section, but only there weaker phones like 9T and 9 SE. Is that true?

POCO F2 PRO sold out?

Hello,
i want to buy the POCO F2 PRO, but everywhere it´s only available in purple for a good price, others are sold out!
Do you think new phones come into the market?
cheers
Personally I know there are global supply chain issues in every industry at this time. I'd be surprised if Xiaomi weren't affected as well. Blame lcokdowns etc.

The chinese version, redmi K30 pro also almost completely disappeared from the stores.
As an european consumer a six month product life seems a bit shorter than usual, especially as the poco f1 was launched two years before.
I always felt as an xda / custom roms user than we get the best value of a phone quite a few months after launch but if phone life is less than a year this is a real bummer for developpers.

The production of the Redmi K30 Pro (Chinese version) has been stopped because of shortage of some parts. Right now there are no plans to stop the production of the Poco F2 Pro (Global version).

Xiaomi mi 11 Pro

please a question, the xiaomi mi 11 Pro will not be released globally? I researched and would like this information please.. a seller Aliexpress said he can change the language, because the chinese version has only chinese and english .. maybe flash another rom. he said that doing this will take another 15 days to send. saw a tutorial that make the global flash rom in minutes. work 5g in Brazil?
There is another problem, when you use not global version, chinese changed soft you will not have netflix on HD etc
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro can be very easily converted from Chinese Version to Global or EEA.

Whatever, but chinese version dont have wideline certificate in partition perst. Then netflix wont work in HD. On xiaomi global rom too
so it doesn't worth to get the pro variant on Europe, no?

How to do this? Do you have any links?
I am planning to buy Mi 11 pro CN since Xiaomi 12 does not seem to have an IP68 rating
Hi,
All information you can find at this forum but first you must unlock bootloader (official unlock through Xiaomi) and it takes 7 days. After that you can choose right for you ROM (Global - hevily based on Google Apps, EEA - less Google Apps, EU Custom - close to original Chinese ROM). I sold my 11 Pro but now I regret it.
Just buy it and after that contact me again. In meantime you can register to Xiaomi.
Regards

Why do you regret it? The camera it's awful, no Desktop Mode, USB 2.0 instead of 3.1....

Camera isn't awful - most flagship smartphones have similar cameras now, they all perform really good
Which global Xiaomi smartphone has desktop mode? MIUI+ is still in beta and only available in China (MIUI+ doesn't even have english interface)
And no Xiaomi phone has USB 3.1 - they all have USB 2.0, including the recently announced Xiaomi 12 phones..
That's why I've said that Xiaomi phones are awful. About the camera, I can disagree with you, even a P30 Pro that's a 3-year-old device is performing better than a Mi 11 Pro....

Sorry, You are wrong about the camera. Just got my 11 pro which I also had before and then sold it (just had to return to it ) In the meantime I had p30 pro, p40 pro, S21 Ultra, Find x2 pro...The Xiaomi is better than those smartphones, at least in my eyes.

Why do you say it's better? The zoom's awful, night photos are pretty bad, and daylight photos are not ok. Also, no Desktop Mode, USB 2.0, and software with bugs, you need to complicate with Xiaomi.EU rom to solve this...
I really hate that Huawei doesn't have GMS anymore, otherwise I would pick a P50 Pro/Mate 40 Pro with my eyes closed cause my S20+ sucks.
I have the Pro-version. Have also had standard Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra. For some reason I get clearly better battery life on 11 Pro compared to both 11 and 11 Ultra. Not sure why. I think the better battery life is the biggest advantage for me with 11 Pro over the standard Mi 11. The GN2 sensor on 11 Pro is really good but not that much better than the HMX-sensor in Mi 11. Sometimes I think that the 27MP binned photos from Mi 11 may be preferable since I like detailed photos.
