looking at the video review this rom looks amazing! will definitely give it a try...
tried flashing, i keep getting an error and then twrp says "failed", i'll download straight to the phone and have another go now....
okay so i got around that by downloading it straight to the phone, it's really nice, but i wont be using it yet, as i'm not a fan of the pie launcher....but the animations look amazing!!!!

Installed and everything is looking good. Will use as daily driver and report back. Thanks

It's sad... I spent hours relentlessly getting to be functional as a phone and 2 replies.
I used to be a crack flasher never tried this variation but will flash some time in the next 12 hrs. Phone's not necessarily in flashing condition and thanks of course for adding variation

Maybe people have moved onto new phones but trust me. I packed some juiced into the 2nd update. Hardware remap works. Everything works minus minor bugs. I've been going through so much sht lately, I don't honestly think I'll be deving for long anymore which is why I decided to build for the skyrocket which was one of my first phone that got me
You can quit deving, but only after this is in tiptop working order. Sorry for your troubles lately, but all of life's issues are tests, and the way you respond are the answer. Hope all gets better for you
Sent from my SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Don't let the number of replies get you down.
It looks like a great rom. My issue is where it says "BT seems to be borked" (need it for my pebble). Once that's sorted out I'd love to give it a go!
I've been running the rom since last night and I absolutely love it! Thank you for all the hardwork in keeping the skyrocket running the latest and greatest. Whatever it is you have going on in life I hope it gets sorted out well.
I have no wifi and am being throttled by att. Tried to install, but must have a bad dl. Will try again later. Keep the faith.
SGH-I727 Peace
Welcome back! Definitely flashing this one.

I messed up my old cm10 code, as I had been leaving on dev for more than half a year.
I think the BlackScreenFix patch makes the battery drain in idle, I had been working on this for nights but can't find how to solve this problem.Maybe the best way to solve this is flashing a kernel without 'BlackScreenFix patch' if your phone could be booted without this patch.
I may(no promise) try a none-kexec one on 4.4 later.

Thank you for your input wang, it brings a lot of hope for persons like me hope who want to avoid the kexec battery drain. De-kexecing KK roms (and maybe 4.3+) would be the best thing a lot of A2 users are wanting and I have been de-kexecing a lot of 4.2.2 roms so far with altered's guidance.
Take your time and all the best with your plans!:good:

I see, that would be great.I would just dream of 4.4 ROM with a normal battery life.
I would agree more with a 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 ROM with some Kitkat customization then a 4.4 with a bad battery life.
Btw this ROM looks cool, will use it from time to time (it can't be my daily because of battery drain)
Thanks once again in advance
plz try to provide temp link for rom as there is some pbm with the current one..
I will update about once a week.If U got any bugs or want some features, please PM me or reply to me
wanggjghost: for better battery (for some users), can you make the kernel, without black screen fix? (static bool first_boot = false; in board-mapphone-panel.c)
And two known bugs (only in 4.3.* and 4.4.* roms)
* The in-call microphone is not working, when in-call speaker is active (The outer person can't hear me, if click to speaker in call) can you fix this?
* In-call audio adjustment not working (Can't adjust volume in calk)
In 15th Feb bulid... After locking screen red notification light lights up...but no issue after unlocking screen, i.e no notification light (red light)
Edit :- No issues after fresh install

I didn't change anything, and I have LTE. Also, no problems so far, except had to reboot my phone to get it to reconnect to my router when I got home. I always end up going back to an LG based rom, after trying an aosp. But this time I think I may stay. Battery life is good so far. And this thing is screeeeming fast! Been using it since this morning. See how it goes. :good:

Love this rom but I have a couple of problems.. First I tried to update kernel tweaker and always get wrong signature Is there anyway to fix this? And in kernel tweaker when I change the sound settings it doesn't save and it don't Chang the sound..
knock on isn't working.....? or am I not looking hard enough....?

I got echoing and when you change the build prop it freezes and everything force closes but to me it seems its to re size everything so dont really see that as a problem just the echoing..
hey guys.
I have prepared a test build using kitkat sources by dr87. link: http://d-h.st/gvv
Please let me know if it boots and how it runs.

Because its a beta some changes are not yet merged. You'll see when its there with a update

the liquidsmooth ota says that an update is available, but this update says 20140302 while my current build is 20140323. Probably just the ota trying to update me to a older build, right?

Awesome ROM! But has the mobile data WiFi bug at this moment in time, once that is fixed it will be one of the fastest & smoothest ROMs around!

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod/LineageOS and CodeAurora repos.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.
Known issues:
When trying to change wallpaper in launcher3 it FC's.
- First boot will take a while! it will stay on the boot screen, then it will briefly show bootanimation, but it will boot just don't panic

Theming: rom has from this build the new SUBSTRATUM THEME ENGINE. Use the integrated Substratum app to apply OMS overlays (OverlaysManagerService). Latest Substratum is rootless!
Theming: to apply OMS overlays to some system apps, you need also to flash TBO GoogleApps right after your Gapps package from recovery. This means to be clear: ROM + GAPPS + TBO
The rom is unrooted! You can root it with whatever you like. I like magisk.

Thanks for the work, bro.
i Installed on this moment and i am loving.
Thanks for the ROM. I'm digging it. Lean and clean.
I'm not familiar with "TBO"m but after googling it I was taken to here and here.
Are we supposed to install the APK that we can download from their site/xda thread?

If you want TBO gapps then yes. But you don't have to use it if you don't want too. I personally don't use them.

Is there any space where all the features are consolidated and listed? Since, features are embedded under stock menu items, possible that I might have missed any . Thanks!

Hold the settings gear icon in the status bar to change battery style and edit nav bar. But apart of that, this ROM is barebones.

I won't do that. You have it in the first post. Aosp is as google releases it on nexus devices, so without features. Just read the first post.
