​What is King Kang?​
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. How do I install King Kang?
Download the ROM
Reboot into your recovery (TWRP is recommended)
Wipe data if you are coming from a ROM besides King Kang
Flash the King Kang ROM zip
Flash SU zip--> CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip
Flash the Google Apps zip
Format your dalvik cache/normal cache
Reboot
Customize your experience to your heart's content!

Latest one for Jellybean (CM10) should work perfectly​Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs are Rohan32 and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.​Contribute

2_IF I can not replicate the bug even if 3 of you have the same one go to rule one , eventually it will solve it self .

To enable Tablet UI, you must follow these steps in this exact order!
Code:
1. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > enable nav bar
2. Rom Control > Nav bar settings > change nav bar height to 36 or 40 dp (change for portrait and landscape)
3. Rom Control > General UI > force Tablet UI
4. Paranoid Preferences Settings > Workspace > Tablet UI
5. Reoot to recovery > wipe cache & dalvik cache
6. Reboot
7. Profit???
8. Get creative with paranoid settings dpi/layout settings to
fix launcher and Rom Control settins DPI
BUGS:
This is a WIP, i had some issues with wifi and rotation so i used some files from
Hercules aokp base, so you must keep the stock kernel or you will bork rotation
& possibly wifi-- if you absolutely need a custom kernel you will need to flash one made
for the Hercules phone.

Is the fixed gapps the same as the gapps in your port of Paranoid Android ? I don't really feel like waiting again for this to download if I already have the fixed gapps and what is hovering point with s-pen? Does this only work with s-pen or any stylus ?

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.
Features :
PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. This is a must for tablet mode since it shrinks your apps considerably, making them useless. you can even scale widgets and framework components like the navigationbar.You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell),Sense 4 Recent Apps too etc.

Honestly I can't say thank you enough to you guys or the other devs here this phone doesn't even have a legot by HTC boot loader unlock no kernel source and had so many problems when it came out thanks to your time effort and commitment this phone has so much development that no one can say any other phone is better because it may have more development this phone freaking rocks thanks guys

Tips for new users;
use Tablet mode for now . since changing the dpi would result in wrong keyboard layout. Thats one small bug i found
and capacitive buttons dont light up

hmm flash both packages ?
is twrp even flashing it? it takes like 10 sec to flash. there is no flashing error from my end. so not sure whats happening here

Knew this sexy beast was a little too good to be true-nfc is a no go D: Maybe talk to aokp dev and see what he did to fix it

Follow these steps or you'll be stuck at the boot animation lol. You'll have to mess with your launcher DPI or it will look kinda weird.

-After the 10 min, reboot phone and enjoy

WiFi is broken due to the permissions. Or the ROM from which you ported will have a broken WiFi. PM me if you need help. BTW I'm going to try this port. Gimme the link from where you ported it!!

I flashed the ROM looks good. I found 1 issue, my external SD isn't recognized. Can't access music,photos etc. Other than that , everything is working

Everything is working fine so far. External SD shows up if I use root explorer. From within the it doesnt show in settings/storage

I might post a new build tomorrow.. I don't know if I'm busy or not(school hw). I got OTA update Center to work with this ROM and Provision. There ready to be posted

Yeah im having the same problem, also apollo keeps force closing. Just saying to help for next build.

I was messing around with the hellybean ROM from the s2. Only issue is no GPS lock and selecting settings/storage fc settings. Everything else is working. Wasn't trying to steal thunder from you. Look forward to updates on the rom

Good to see this finally on grouper! I ran it a few months ago for tiapila on my grouper and now it's the real thing :')

Really nice rom with some nice extra goodies, one minor issue, I get a force close when trying to use the dash clock widget. Nothing too big but wanted to let you know, keep up the great work

Did you used the preinstalled one? Or you used the play store version? Can you take a logcat please ?

Pre installed version, away from my tablet until Thursday ( work commitments) but will sort a log cat out for you once I'm home

Running PA the only one with stable tablet UI, any possibility to have it here, big fan of ICJ builds

What a bummer, the ROM flashed fine and everything except Google Play works, when I click on the play App it won't connect the browser and Gmail work fine but the play app just won't connect for some reason so I can't download titanium backup in order to restore my apps and everyone needs Google play anyway so I've had to restore my nandroid of Xenon HD for nowt.

Unfortunately not much good without Google Play everything else went OK, done a full wipe but had to boot into recovery and restore nandroid. :-\

@oblikas I have emailed you a logcat for the dash clock force close as promised. I clean installed the new build but its still happening. Not a big issue but hopefully this will help with trouble shooting the issue.
