When using the original touchwiz ROM the S3 has an inbuilt capability to work as a DLNA server. But after the upgrade to some ROMs like cyanogemmod that function is gone. Does anyone have alternate solution for it. I was looking at an app PixelDMS. Anything better?

Cyanogen mod.
The native bluetooth in the captivates does not support wiimotes
This rom is not for beginners.

yeah cyanogenmod. mainly because stock captivate rom uses Bluetooth 3.0
Well that works, cause I'm on Cm7. Anyone have a link to an existing thread?

I was wondering if I could use it with a samsung galaxy player wifi s 3.6. I really want it to play Supergnes emulator. Would it even be compatible with the emulator? Please I need to know before buying it.

Lol no one cared but i bought it anyways, it works like a charm with emulators! Anyone interested it works without root necessary. Uses Bluetooth. And has a clip that attaches to you device.

Whenever I use AOKP's built in free hotspot with Windows it connects but with limited connectivity. Thus making it pretty much useless lol. Tried it in Ubuntu as well but it just wouldn't connect altogether. Anyone else experience this issue? If so what is the fix?

I think I read it had to do with security. Try using it as an unsecured access point.

I don't know about All Share, but S Beam is just the dressed up version of Android Beam. Pretty sure there is no core difference.
Jelly "Beans" Rom is a TW rom with AOSP looks... if that's what your after... stability and features of touchwiz with all the cartoonyness checked at the door.
Sbeam uses nfc and wifi direct and android beam is just nfc I think. With another samsung device its faster to transfer stuff then just android beam with a non sammy

Thanks! It looks like that's the one

There is also Wicked Sensations ROM.
IIRC S beam uses WiFi-Direct and can transfer music, videos and other files while Android Beam only uses NFC (maybe BT as well) and can only transfer contacts and small things (this may have changed in 4.2)
Anyone know of any remote apps that let you control a android TV box from your phone with the ir plaster? I have a cs918plus btw.

There's a new one requiring root here on xda, android, apps.... I can't find it tight now.. But it might cast your touches to the other android device...
Not sure how it really works and suspect all devices will require root and the app

Cool, have root on both devices. Lemme know if you find it.

The app is called Webkey. Let's you control the Android device from another computer's Web browser. Requires root.
