JXD S7300 (Just a friendly FYI)

This is a 7 inch gaming tab with built in game pad. It comes pre-rooted with Android 4.1.1 a Dual-Core Amlogic MX Cortex A9 @1.5GHz, a Quad-Core Mali400 MP GPU, and 1024MB DDR3
Set to launch sometime in 2013.
They have current models out that are single-core 1GHz, Quad-Core Mali400, and 512MB DDR3.

Very exciting. I've been looking for a gaming tablet and there are a few on the way that look great. The archos is my favorite so far.
On the JXD, are those specs accurate? I'd say it would have a price advantage, if so. That brand is usually very affordable.

Hi I'm new to tablets but have owned an Android phone for some time -
I am looking for some advice on 7" Android tablets with 1280x800 IPS screen
On my short list for now are:
Cube U21GT (4.1) 16GB -
Rockchip RK3066, 1.6GHz, Cortex A9 dual core; GPU: Mali 400 MP4 4 cores - NO Bluetooth.
PiPo U1 Pro 16GB -
Rockchip 3066 Cortex A9,1.6GHz,Dual-core CPU+Quad-core GPU Mali 400 MP4 - Bluetooth 2.1
I am also considering - because of the reputation of the AML8726-M6 compatibility with XBMC -
Ainol Novo 7 Fire 16GB (even though it is still Android 4.0.4 - can it be upgraded to 4.1?)
Dual Core AMLogic AML8726-M6 1.5GHz + GPU: Dual Core Mali 400*2 3D - Bluetooth 2.1
There other new offerings using quad-core processors but I had been advised to avoid models using the GC1000 GPU

[Q] Android: Exynos 5250 (A15 dual core) vs Rk3188 (A9 quad core)

I was going to buy a tablet for uni, and as i have some experience with computers i decided to compare the tablets and buy which was best for me, however i realized I'm a complete greenhorn in terms of phone/tablet hardware.
I found that these two processor was the ones i had to pick from:
Samsung Exynos 5250 - A15 Dual core @ 2 Ghz
Has an excellent GPU T-604
Rockwell Rk3188 - A9 Quad core @ 1.8 GHz
Has an decent GPU Mali 400
I know that the Exynos has a MUCH better GPU and has the newer A15 architecture, clocked at higher speed but is a dual core.
But the Rockwell is a quad core but has a older A9 architure and has the worse GPU.
I tried to search for a comparison but came nil because I was comparing between different release date/architecture.
Could you guys people explain to this newbie the advantages and disadvantages of each processor, and which one i should pick?
Which Processor is better? why is it better? Better by how much?
Which processor would be better at Nds emulation? I know android nds emulator support multicore and GPU support

at first is it Rockchip RK3188 , not Rockwell .. 2nd, A15 is faster than A9 even A9 is in A9 quad core state, for better compatibility support for apps and games .. take exynos chip but the price is hinger than rockchip RK3188 tablet... battery comsumption are vary depnds actual MAH on the tablet + how the user usage on it's tablet + version ROM that perform

Tablet is not only about processor, build quality, screen, speakers - its a package.
As you did not mention exact models under comparison, it depends on what you look for and budget.
For price/quality top score, you can't go wrong with one of Cube u9GTV (quad) tablets :
Retina, aluminum body, IPS, HDMI, stereo speakers and 9+ hours of battery.
I have one myself, and I used the dual core (old model) for a year, so I know they last well and are robust.
One of issues to consider is that having ADB over USB to Cube tablets is sometimes a mess, so I'm using ADB over IP to debug things, which might be not the best solution for a developer.

Help! Whats the difference in performance for these chips?

Hi Tech Gurus,
I'm not the most well verse with tech. Looking for some guidance.
I'm in the market for an external android box for my car. There are 2 options I'm choosing from with the following hardware:
1. Grom VL2: Rockchip 3288 - Quad Core Arm Cortex A17 1.8GHz / Mali-T760 MP4 GPU
2. Lsailt: Allwinner T7 - Hexa Core Arm Cortex A7 1.2GHz / Mali-400 MP4 GPU
Which of these have better performance? 4 big cores vs 6 small cores for a head unit powered by car?

If you're looking at the processor alone the RK3288 is 50% faster for 33% less cores and it has many improvements over the T7 design. But the speed of the system is very much affected by the amount of memory (RAM). No matter which HU you go with get one that has at least 2GB of RAM.

Both has 3gb of RAM. Thanks for the input. The T7 I believe was released in 2018 while the RK3288 was released in 2014. I thought newer might be better but thanks for confirming that the RK3288 should perform better.
