To fix the network error, edit two lines in the build.prop to add GT-I9300
The 2 lines should look like the following:
ro.product.device=GT-I9300
ro.product.model=GT-I9300

Thanks . Works on Galaxy note ics
What i did -
1. Unrar the file and copy the apk file
2. Copy to system/app folder
3. Change permission to rw-r-r
restart phone.
Silly question, but does this require root?

it is a system app, use root explorer or terminal or something to put it in /system/app and change the permissions to 755 (rw-r--r--) and it will work. probably not correctly.

Ive tried flashing the zip file from CWM 6.0.somethingsomething
Ive tried Installing it by running the apk
ive tried installing it by running the apk after flashing (the file does show up in system folder, but i still get the error :\)
Reflashed JB 3 times and cleared dalvik/cache/data each time aswell
Gonna try again, just to make sure im not completely dumb
edit:Yeah, for some reason its not letting me mount system :|..
Edit2: After flashing, and trying to install the apk located in system afterwards, it says there was an error parsing the file

If I update lets say CM9 build#9 to build#11, WITHOUT wiping anything. Would I still be losing my apps and everything stored on ext partition?
If I would, then would you recommend anyway around this so as NOT to lose all the games and apps I have installed. Its already around 500mb and will really suck to search for and download each and everything all over again. And already asked in CM9 thread but didnt get much of a response :/

Well I think you may not lose...
Depends on what script you're using.....you'll have to copy that script and it's configurations before flashing to sdcard and then copy it back to original position...
I've just tried it from cm 9 11 to mini cm9..on m2sd..
Copy init.d /10mounts2SD to sdcard then after flashing new build... copy that file back... to system.etc.initd
The configurations file in this case would be data/m2sd folder.. you'll have to copy that as well ,if you wipe data..
All these things should be done in recovery after flashing build and gapps (using aroma file manager)

---------- Post added at 05:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:46 PM ----------

You can't flash it without wiping everything. That'll cause force close issues. Try the following, since you're on the same CM 9.1:
Wipe System in TWRP recovery.
Then Flash your new Rom.
Also follow what ptcpayme told about saving the script.
Hope it helps! Can't guarantee you that it works. Worked for me though.

Do one thing, First, if you have a data plan try downloading a file with your wireless data and see how much speed you get.
But if you don't have a data plan, connect your phone to your PC via a USB cable and enable " Internet Pass Through ", then try downloading a file and again check the speed you get.
If in these cases your speed is more than what you got earlier then there might just be a chance that there is some problem with your WiFi router.
Hit "Thanks" if I helped ! :silly:

The servers which ISP testers use are fast hence report more speed.

Try contacting your service provider. I think the modem is allocating most of the channel bandwidth to PC. Thats the reason the other services might be getting low speeds.
