How do I fix it?
Baseband Vrlg1
Kernel 3.4.45 cm
I believe it was firmware related, but that was do to the latest firmware. I don't think that is the issue though. Have you tried flashing a different kernal?

Yup, needs MF1. I just flashed over 3 days ago from tw rooms that didn't need it.
Installed mf1..no luck. Do I need to wipe? I'm pretty sure worked when I first installed cm
camera not working also
Hey I had mf1, installed cm nightly 6/30. At first my camera worked no problem...but now it doesn't work at all. I'm considering updating a newer nightly hoping it may fix the problem.

So after installing this amazing rom and loving it for a week or two; I see a kernel update and install it. Everything went smooth but I lost my wifi after the fact. I was hoping someone could help me keep the kernel and get the wifi going. nothing about wifi problems were stated and it work fine previously. I wiped everything and even tried the wifi fix manager thingy i got with the ics rom i was running previously to see if that would do it but to no avail. I wanted to ask the developer but need some 10 post so help a bro out!
p.s....gotta give props to the man who had me running jb before anyone of my friends with newer phones!!! RANDOMBLAME!!!!

ditto, this happend with my Paranoidandroid install as well. kernel allowed me to stay running without crash, but wifi is a pretty big letdown...
unfortunatly, without the kernel itself being fixed, or the wifi module fixed, we are stuck looking for another alternate kernel... oh yeah, we are pretty limited.
thanks
appreciate the quick reply man. And I'll be keeping my eye out then

So I'm only using it with jelly time or jb. I'm flashing the os then the kernel cuz the os installs its own. This is an updated kernel for the os.I'm thinking i should maybe wipe the cache partition after the the os then do the kernel but at the same time I would think that other problems would be happening if that was the issue. What do you think?

does the system function without the kernel update?
if it does, you might want to hold off on updating til the ROM updates for it.

The ROM was updated and the kernel included in the update! Amazing rom , highly recommended especially with the updated kernel!
When I flash the KT747 kernel it doesn't boot, never even gets to the boot animation. (EDIT: Updating from 9/23)

I posted that because the op's information was about as pertinent as my previous post. Rule of thumb, if ya want help, no problem...but atleast give us some information to work with.
What ROM are you trying to boot on? Chances are there are some merges in the new Kernel that will make an older ROM not boot.
Example: I was on CM10 M1. Couldn't boot on any of Faux's new kernels or KT747. Old ROMS didn't have new merges necessary to boot with newer kernels that had them..
or something like that. Solution - update to a newer ROM.

I'm running MIUI 2.9.7, worked with 9/23 can't see why it would work with 10/3
If the issue is ROM related I guess I'll just wait for an update on the rom

There are new merges from 9/27 that will make roms older than that incompatible.

So I've noticed my phone's radio works best with stock roms. I was using CM10 until I noticed I kept having terrible signal and data drop. I miss CM lol. Does anyone know of a rom that is stock with the mods/customization as CM?

Have you tried flashing different radios/modems? different ones work better with different ROMs and phones these can be flashed separate of the ROM

I did try that. It had zero effect. One of the radios gave excellent signal, but I still lost data connection.

Your problem is not the radio itself... it is actually the radio interface layer thats causing the issue. Since kernel source is not available for jellybean yet, all aosp roms have a hacked ril and data drops is the result. I think cyanogen has it tweaked pretty good but some folks still have problems with data.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. When JB comes out from Verizon I'm hoping that CM will use it for the d2vzw so I can go back!
I know this is the wrong area to be posting this but I'm unable to comment on the thread required. I recently flashed LiquidSmooth JB version 2.8 and then I flashed the kt747 kernel. I am also running the baseband version i535vrbmf1. I have not been able to succesfully use the camera since flashing this rom. I get the message Camera error, Can't connect to camera. I am currently unsure as to why this issue is occurring. I had been running PACman with the kt747 kernel and I had been able to use the camera at that point. The only change to the phone has been the rom. Any help provided would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
akwonder

That was the issue. I find it to be kind of strange that the kernel would cause the issues considering it worked with the other rom and not this one but it sounds like the issue is with the latest baseband version. Thanks for the help!

I know exactly what you mean. Totally agree.
Hey,
So I got my Oneplus One few days ago. It was running Cyanogenmod 11s front facing camera was working fine by then. Then i figured to switch to resurection remix did that, and when i tried to access the front facing camera the program just froze and crashed. Then I went for AK Kernel, still crashing, went for Paranoid Android now with default kernel still nothing, tried multiple camera programs, nothing seemed to solve this problem.
So does anyone know what's up ? Why it doesnt work ?
Any help is highly apreciated.

What ?
I mean i do it everytime i reinstall/install new rom.
I even installed Oxygen OS Same problem, nothing fixed i did it as cleanely as posible Formated every possible section i could. Anyone to help ?
bump
Did you updated also the firmware? Or just ROM?
Nah just the rom, dont know what you mean by firmware
I mean i installed the cm12.1 newest nightly first, then went for Resurection Remix and so on
And you left the firmware on cm11s? How did you manage to install 12.1? Did you read the installation instructions, cause every Rom I tried states update your firmware. You'll find a link to the latest one somewhere near the ROM download.
**** maybe i dont understand something what do you mean by firmware, can you explain more in depth ? Because i did everything that paranoid android tutorial shows and see nothing changed, I tried instaling a rom it came with it was cm 11s 44r still same stuff nothing changed.
Do you mean i should flash CM 12S first, then go for other roms ?
Edit : So newest 12.1 Nightlies dont have newest firmware itself ?
