I have an Xperia Xperia U and L..
Xperia U has Bravia Engine, the Xperia L have not.
When comparing the two at the same time in a video .. The Xperia U is much more vivid colors while the Xperia L is more 'gray'
There were some install Bravia Engine on Xperia L?

Unlock your bootloader , Get a Kernel that has CWM ,, Flash Bravia Engine ,, Enjoy the difference.

Already unlocked the bootloader will flash the kernel ..
But reading the topic the author says it's not flash, it sends manually install ...

I've try Bravia engine 2, bravia engine 3, x-reality.
by flash it with CWM or manually copy and merge system folder.
there are Bravia Engine on my setting.
But compare to my friend Xperia L & Xperia SP (with bravia) i can confirm none of them are working.

Yes, I do. Because I flash it using CWM which is include in Vengeance Kernel that requires Unlocked Bootloader.

Probably depends on which firmware/kernel? version you've got installed. You could try Bin4ry's method. I'll provide a link in a min. Hang on.
Though if you got one of latest firmware versions it wont work.

Not true, it DID work 100% until the latest firmware versions were released.
For Tipo that was version *.4.22, for Miro it was the *.5.5, for the Xperia J I wouldn't even know, but since those firmware versions, if you update, you cannot use Bin4ry's method, as Sony disabled the "Restore my files" function.

Peoples bypassed this in Xperia T.
You do root for the old firmware then flash CWM (for locked bootloader) then flash *.zip package with newest rom.
At the end you flash (flashtool) kernel from newest firmware. It's all. Root has not disappeared (only CWM you must re-flash)
BUT at this moment, you can root Xperia J with Bin4ry method on any firmware. I don't now how in Tipo and Miro but this topic is about Xperia J

We dont have the hardware for BE2. BE2 needs both hardware and software. Using the software makes no difference.

i dunno about xperia J ....my tipo is supercharged...i suggest you try after supercharging your phone or install supercharged rom on your phone

that's not bug bro.. it's because of ' project butter '..
enable "Disable Hw overlays " on developer options n check...
Very good app indeed but... maybe someone can resolve the "shakes" when starting it.
