I was wondering if someone could port the Arc (Circular Dock at the Bottom) from Sense 2.1 to our Pico !

I had asked about this earlier in the Q&A section right here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357249
I tried replacing the framework files in the system folder with the framework files of a de-odexed HTC Wildfire S ROM, after flashing the ROM I ended getting stuck at the HTC Splash screen !
There is another method of doing it though : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1210143
We can take help from the Wildfire S ROMs as in that case we won't have to re-size anything.
I'm providing the rosie.apk here from the htc Wildfire S.
Please look into it.

Thank you everyone for showing your interest, all I can do is provide you guys with a Stock De-odexed ROM of the HTC Wildfire S, evn I don't have full knowledge of porting but even I'll give it a shot, I expect you guys to try as well please.
And please let me know if you want the Stock HTC Wildfire S ROM, I'll post the link here...

Please provide us download link of that deodexd rom
I'm not sure that the WFS ROM is needed. All we need to do (I think), is decompile the Rosie.apk of pico and wfs and edit the XMLs in the pico string in a way that it matches wfs. Then we recompile, push it back into the ROM and hope it works.

Got stuck bro. I also posted a question but nobody wants to help me so I'll have to figure it out myself :/
EDIT: I managed to overcome the issue. Trying again
EDIT2: Here's the file. Just push it in system/ app.
Mind you! This is totally untested by me and may not work. DO A BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING IT. I currently don't have my Pico so I can't test myself.

As i told you,it's not my work...& changing the font means need to edit every frame(pics) it is very time taking & i think finishing will not be good..

Sorry not getting you...what do you mean by "boot image from custom kernels"....Bootanimation? yes you can change...
or if you talking about boot logo..that is .rle file which you need to change..which rom u r using?
Its from a very famous ROM of desire HD and the name of the ROM itself is Android revolution HD

When i dl the "ARDH_Boot_Anm_no_lag.zip"file, it's the same than "Boot_Anm_SE_believ.zip"file...

How to flash:
- You need Gingerbread Bootloader, so be on Gingerbread
- Flash it like CM7 or Miui
If you don´t know what this mean DON`T FLASH! Rom is for now for Developers only!!!
HowTo use the Rom:
You need to use two fingers to use the touchscreen.
What´s working:
- It´s booting
- Touchscreen in some ways...
What´s not working:
- Everything not listed in 'working'

No, it´s not the same tar file (this was own Samsung Kernel), i´ll send you the right one soon - with modified bootclass path.
i have the modified bootclass file
so i have to flash that first and this second ???

If you have the modified ramdisk with different bootclass repack it and flash this. I´ll send you the other files you need - the files extracted from system.img

I used it to make this video, but one of my testers flashed it on the Galaxy SLC. If you have any experience with android developing you know that in a SDK-Build only kernel is different from other devices - but this is the most difficult part, too.

You may be have to flash the rom more than one time until it works - if kernel is totaly not booting, try sakandias one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18679932&postcount=109. Unpack the xxx.tar, rename the included normalboot.img to boot.img and replace it with the boot.img in the rom´s .zip

What he said, especially if you have made the changes required in framework-res.apk. I had to try a few times and undo a few changes that worked in other ROMs like PA but didn't work for CNA.

Well some roms need to copy libandroid_runtime and some dont. Trial and error wil tell you.

No my tool doesnt support CNA. Only AOKP is supported right now but there have been reports of CNA working.

I have tried out CNA, you need to press y while running the script for that lib file, it won't boot without it. I suggest you remove the link since you haven't. You should probably do the framework-res.apk merging too before posting it on the forum.

Yup, CNA works with Q's builds as base. Didn't bootup with E's, but then even PA didn't work with E's as base...

In my opinion you should provide guarantees that at least boot to open a thread in the development section.

then open a thread in the general section - you don't even know if the rom was booting before posting.... If everyone did what you did then the dev section will be messier than it already is and also you will get users flaming on you am sure you don't want that etc.... It least you should always test it yourself or have someone test it for you before posting as pabloltg is currently doing.

On your first post there is a warning sign on the right next the twitter bird( where the post number is shown - report the thread for maintenance and ask for it to be moved to the general section.

Thanks for the rom update. When you refer to deodex is it just the apps or the framework as well that has been un-odexed? Again, many thanks for all your work on this phone.

this will be my first custom rom so ..
i have unlocked bootloader, unlocked sim , rooted and touch recovery..
i should just download the file , keep it in the root folder and flash through recovery ?

For your first custom ROM, I'd pick something a bit more modified than this. This is just a stock ROM.
Pick another such as a Team Nocturnal one, CleanROM, King Cobra etc. They have the extended quick settings, advanced power menu etc....mods that improve user experience ten fold.

Does anyone have a problem with Facebook? Keeps force closing when I open the application. I also noticed that when setting up the accounts, Facebook for HTC Sense is gone.

Being stuck on 2.20 with no root is really starting to suck! This would be a great base. I assume one would need to keep the 2.20 (1.85) build prop to keep all the ATT stuff since this is German. I'm getting desperate for root like a crack head licking the floor for crumbs lmao.

Could be bad file. Delete the facebook_client apk from the /system/app directory and then install it from the market. I remember having this problem on my ROMS and that is what I had to do. It doesnt de-odex right.

Turge had to produce a 1.4.1 patch for his ROM to fix some FCs and also a Social-Network-Friendstream patch - so a few little gotchas with the ROM I guess. You could probably look at his patches to get a sense of the fixes.
I can't connect to the 4G att network here, don't have wi-fi to try out. Back to CR 4.5 again!

hey scott, i think you forgot to remove facebook_client.odex...
and that was the problem..
What "under the hood" differences / updates are in this compared to the other 2.xx builds?

Chill guys, why don't you shake your hands and work together to create more awesome roms, that'll really help us Karbonn A21 users. Everybody knows how pathetic the stock rom is.
I might be the first person to use both of these roms and all I can say is that both the roms are pretty good. Please if possible you can do some modding to make the gameloft games like asphalt 7 and all to work on our device.

Bro, Wipe /system too! That's why you're getting low storage Try flashing again by doing this and let me know.
PS : MIUIV4 Delayed because I'm not getting enough time to upload, In this Summer Vacations it'll be uploaded .
