I don't have a jelly bean firmware on my PC. JB is pre-loaded on my phone.. is there any other method?

Hi,
I faced the same thing two days back, same phone same everything.
If you try to root with bin4ry script it will give error - mount permission denied
If you use SP tools it will say - Brom error : soc verification failed.
These steps you have to follow if you want to root it.
1. Downgrade it to android 4.0.1 (ICS)
2. Root it & flash cwm recovery
3. Upgrade it to Jelly Bean (4.1.1)

So far they didn't confirm anything, they might already be building their firmware from the recently released JB sources though.
if u want to get android ver 4.0.4 for micromax funbook u can get it by Christian Troys Custom Rom
give it a try v0.4 is pretty good from the stock rom !

i am trying to port cyanogenmod 10 to mmx funbook !! u can also try it because specs of galaxy ace and mmx are not same but they are similar to each other !!!

swtich to ics rom .. downgeade your device to ics .. then install cmw recovery and root the device and install jelly bean cuatom rom hit thanks if i helped

Guys..suddenly my phone got very slow..it was on some custom rom..I flashed other rom after wiping data & cache..but then also my phone was slow..then I flash my phone with sp flash tool..but then also its slow like hell..can anyone help me..plz

I am a newbie in android arena and XDA forums and want to upgrade my stock ICS phone to Jelly Bean.
I came to know after googling that A110 Canvas 2 is a rebranded version of Mobistel Cynus T2.
So I want to know if I can directly install the latest Jelly Bean ROM provided for Cynus T2 By Mobistel.
Filename is Cynus_T2_jellyBeanSoftware(Ver.V17.01).zip
Will it perfectly install and work without any issues?
Also kindly guide me to a document for risk-free upgrading ICS A110 Canvas 2 to latest jelly bean.
If ur device is in warranty they go to service centre they will update to jb 4.1.1 which is latest officially.

Then u have to download sp flash tool & stock rom for canvas 2. U can get these in general section also many guides r there on this topic.

I had installed SUVI ROM for my rooted micromax mobile. However, by mistake I unrooted my phone and I'm unable to root it again using any of the tools: there's no option. So I'm unable to change my current ROM What can be a possible workaround for this situation?
