but my question is...can Cynogen Mod Rom can be install using ROM Manager??
Why Cynogen Mod Rom have to install googleapps after we have installed Cynogen Mod Rom??is that necessary??
Do others ROM have to install googleapps too??
thank you...
Last i checked that website was pretty outdated.
Yes it can be done using rom manager. You have to flash the gapps after as they are not included in the rom. This is because Google asked cyanogen to not include closed source apps in his open source rom.
You will want rom manager premium so you can download the cumulative nightlies. Otherwise just download the necessary files and install zip with rom manager. Make sure you wipe data, cache and dalvic cache before flashing the rom.
I recommended you install the latest nightly as it has included alot more fixes since the rc1 release.

not exactly
RC1 is the last official "stable" version
the link you provided is to the nightlies which are very random in nature, and many times it might not even work as pointed out on CM website itself
and when you are NEW to the flashing game, it's best to work with files you know it will work for sure, to minimize the unknown and fear factor

CM7 was on a code freeze. No additional code was being added because they were about to release rc2. It would have been out by now but kernel.org was hacked. The latest nightly is far more stable than rc1.
Hi guys, I just installed the CyanogenMod 9 v4.0.4 v6.0 + CM Night builds, but it has no google apps. So I installed via recovery the GAPPS from the same page I got the ROM.
My problem is, after I installed the google apps, the wallet app just keeps stop working all the time, even without using it, and I don't even need that app!
All I wanted was the gmail app and the play store app!
Anyone knows how to uninstall only the google wallet app, or another solution for this gapp issue?
Thanks in advance!
You can uninstall the app by mounting the system, and deleting it from the system/app folder. I use the root option in ES File explorer.
Can I do that with Astro? I didn't find the option you mentioned!

Edit: Found it in Nexus S (no 4G) forum.
Where is this CM 9 4.0.4 v6?

CM can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399035
I use gapps from http://kan.gd/1igc without problems.
Thanks guys, I'll try those gapps!
Problem solved
So, everything is working just fine now!
I did a fresh install of everything.
1st - ROM and gapps.
2nd - 1st boot.
3rd - Kernel install.
Now it's all good, thanks for your help guys!
I read somewhere that after a new ROM install, we should do a 1st boot and then install the new kernel! Seems to work that way!
Google Gapps have been updated on 20130303, I have Surdu's AOKP r5 on my tf300t, my question is do I have to reflash the ROM along with the new GAPPS to update or just download and flash the new GAPPS from recovery, I have goo.im app installed and it keeps saying that there is an update.
Thanks in advance
Erik

Yeah i agree , there are many bugs in the nightly so i immediately switched back to the stable version .
Requirements : a rooted phone with an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery like cwm or twrp .
Read these instructions to the letter :
1)Make a nandroid backup of your android before flashing anything in case you ever brick your device and also make a separate backup of your applications using titanium backup
2) download the .zip file from this link http://pacman.basketbuild.com/index.php?dir=main/p3100/release/ and put it in your sd card. This is the .zip file for your rom. (If you have any other device than the p3100 then put that device's name in the link instead of p3100.)
3) then download the latest gapps version from here goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip and put it in your SD card. This is for the google apps .
4) open the custom recovery you have on your phone.
5) there, click on the wipe data /reset button and then the wipe cache button
6) click on the install zip from sd card button. There select the .zip file for the pac rom.
7) then install the latest gapps version by the same method as above.
8) after all this press the reboot now button .
Now you got the PAC rom giving you android v4.2 on your galaxy tab 2.
ENJOY and press thanks if i helped you ...
