My zerolemon battery just came i today and i would just like to say that there is absolutely zero bulge. Works with all my cases. It does however take a little longer to charge. Il post screenshots of usage. Post yours too!!

Guess you got the magic edition and magic phone too. Maybe zero lemon made your phone too instead of Samsung.

By all means, please continue with the pics. I should have my batteries in today hopefully. Never do the expedited shipping with them, it comes just as fast as the regular. I feel stupid for not listening to you guys hahaha
Haha yeah i was pretty surprised with the shipping rates. It was only 69 cents and it took about 4 days to come in. I think youll like it. The reason why people complain about the bulge probably has the s4 on a different carrier. I have verizon and its fine.

I own two of them and was very disappointed I also did a review in the other thread. And if you are following it people are doing scientific analysis of the batteries over stock as welonas physical reviews. And you will see there is little to no gain over stock. Plus you lose NFC and cause an ugly bulge in the back. If you read my review you will see see hat both batteries caused bulge
Hmm what are the chances right! Unless this is a fact! These batteries are lemons and going against the companies mission statement and that's what pisses me off. And these people that are sitting here in denial trying to validate there purchase so they don't feel jipped is comical at best.

Good to hear GnexusPro. Mine also had no bulges with pictures to prove so. I can say from personal experiece I'm getting more battery life, but It cant be considered in reviewing the product as everyone uses their phone differently.
I just got mine. Had to remove the battery label to get it to fit under the standard cover. We'll see what performance is like, not expecting much at this point.
Definitely some interesting reviews . Not quite sure what to think yet besides that its an ok spare battery . The way i use it is i just swap my 2 batteries out so i never really need my phone on the charger . I just finished my first cycle and i noticed that the last 10 percent lasted me a LONGG time. Anyway here are the screenshots from the first cycle. Keep in mind that i was at work today amd didnt charge for a night. I'll pay more screenshots after 5cycles

I'm really beginning to feel that there must be some individuals posting inside these Zerolemon threads that are from the competition side. I say this because I finally got my 3000mah Zerolemon today and I don't have any bulging issues.
I was getting anxious reading all the negative impressions and reviews, feeling fully ready to return the Zerolemon and just buy the OEM battery and charging kit with my 50% coupon.
And to make it worse, my delivery was behind schedule and I only got the battery today (I was supposed to get it on the 5th).
To my pleasant surprise, the battery went in just fine with the sticker intact and the cover snapped on with no bulge. Just to make sure my tactile ability and vision was working correctly, I even had my wifey and mom examine the phone without telling them I had a non-OEM battery inside. Neither of them detected or felt any bulges.
It was, however, more difficult to seat the battery in compared to oem, especially the lower-left corner. I expected super-snugness but it wasnt as tight and bad as I expected. In fact, I had a harder time fitting in the 7500mah battery when I tried to install it for the first time.
I dont know why I'm not experiencing the bulging problems as others. My phone was one of the first batches that went out during the preorder period. Even my 3000mah Zerolemon battery must be one of the first batches because I placed my order for it the day the battery became available and it was shipped out the very next day (although I received my battery so late compared to others).
I do have one theory, though, as to why I may not be affected. Maybe it's because when Zerolemon assembled my particular battery unit, they tightly and flushly wrapped the sticker around the battery, enabling smooth installation.
I'm not saying that all the people who are complaining about the bulging problem are liars and paid-off people. But I have a hunch that we do have some of that type of people mixed in here. And I dont think it's a far fetched idea. After all, the aftermarket battery market is a big and lucrative one and I'm sure there are some desperate and deceitful business people out there trying hard to muck up the competition by spreading FUD to promote themselves.
Anyhow, enough about that and now it's time to see if this battery offers some improvement over the OEM.

Nice results. 400mAH isn't alot, but i think it helps for the people that don't stare at their phone 6-8hrs a day. Times where I'd usually be at 20% im now at 40-50% now.
First full day was a nice surprise. I got 19 hours (2 hours screen-on time) to 20% remaining, whereas I usually get to 14 hours with the same usage. Everyone's usage patterns are different so I wouldn't focus on the absolute # of hours but rather just the lift from the stock battery. Definitely worth the $12 from Amazon.

Just a word to recommend the Momax 2700Mh Battery and custom back for the Galaxy S.This is the battery I have used for the last 2 months and is truly a reliable and long lasting battery. It has made my S the way I wanted it to be in the first place.
I know there are alot of replacement batteries and high capacity options for the S but this a quality item that is obviously well made.A slip case is also included to house the,now slightly fatter,Galaxy S.
On average I get 2 days use,and thats with everything on bar bluetooth. With light use 3 or 4 days are easily possible.I needed a better battery as I work nights and have no wifi so am continually using a 2g or 3g data connection. Before the momax after removing from charge at 2pm,by 1-2am a charge would be needed.Using the momax it can easily see me through a 24-36 hr period even with heavy use.
So credit where its due, there are alot of shoddy replacements and accessories out there,so I thought I would give a thumbs up for this.
Exactly how much fatter is the back after the new battery is in?
I'd like to get one of these, but I'm scared that it'll be a whole lot bigger than usual.
It makes it 1.5cm at it fattest point.

Hi guys,
So I did some testing on batteries for the S3 and it seemed to get positive feedback from fellow XDA members. I was wondering how many people would be interested in the testings for the S4. I buy most of the batteries myself (which costs a lot of money and I am not asking for donations). I just want to help as many S4 owners on buying the right battery. If you would like me to do similar tests please reply in this thread. If it gets enough replies I'll begin buying the batteries asap and start posting results one by one in a new thread(hopefully it'll get stickied).
Thanks in advance

For example, 3 hours of pure standby time, 1 hour of heavy gaming, 1 hour watching video, and some other stuff.
Also be sure to calibrate your battery right and let it settle for a day before every test. And last but not least, keep everything the same, no switching ROM, no switching kernel, network mode and Wifi both on. Be consistent...

I think it would be great if it's not too much trouble to go through. Having a guide to ascertain the best battery for my needs would be very helpful.
I actually wish there were a lightweight, smaller capacity battery for everyday use, since I'm rarely in a situation where I don't have charging access. I haven't put them on a scale, but in the hand the battery weighs almost as much as the whole phone! A battery with roughly half the capacity would probably knock half an ounce or so off the overall weight. Probably wishful thinking on my part.

Hehe. Different strokes for different folks! The relatively light weight of the S4 was a key selling point to me, and also a reason I don't use a case. But for people like you, you can always add a case, bigger capacity battery, etc., but there's really no way to make it lighter. Maybe a helium tank!

Lol exactly what I was thinking but I did this on my old G2X when the tabs on my back cover bent/broke. If you have it in a case you'll never notice.
I've just recently purchased Hyperion's 5200mAh battery from Amazon. It will arrive within the next week or so. I can do some extensive testing on that and report my results if anyone would like.
I thought I read somewhere that a Nexus battery would be an upgrade and a same fit? Is this true or are there any other OEM batteries that fit for more capacity? I know there are a couple aftermarket batteries that dont require a back cover but are kind of unreliable from what I'm reading. I remember having the htc sensation and upgrading it to the evo 3d battery, same fit but like 500 more mah.
This would be great, keep up the good work!
I'd like to see a test/review. Been thinking about buying one of the 7600 options that comes with a case.
Congratulations if you're one of the selected who got a free test unit from Zero Lemon! This is a placeholder for those who are getting the battery case from zero lemon and need to write a review. Title: Zero-Lemon Battery Case for the S6
This is my first time with a battery case for a phone. I've only seen a few for the various iPhones out there and have only seen one other on a Galaxy S III that seemed to work out but it seemed pretty cool to have the ability to have the extra charge. I was able to score a free one through XDA as long as I wrote a review about it. Here's what I have on Zero Lemons latest batter case for the S6.
Packaging: The packaging on with this unit is pretty basic. Box, cords, instruction manual, plastic coverings, the case and the battery. Once you get everything out it's time to figure out what this gaudy thing is and try to put it on your phone!
Setup: At first glance there was some slight confusion as to how this is supposed to go on your phone. My first thought (and from seeing other models) that the battery would be built into the case. In this version I was surprised to see that it's really an external battery that stays connected to your phone. So you have three pieces to the case. The Case, the power adapter, and the battery itself. Once you get everything connected the battery should rest slightly under the hunch of the rear facing camera in the back. At this point you're ready to slide the actual case over the phone and the battery. Starting from the bottom up: make sure you slide the bottom of the phone and the power adapter first. I couldn't imagine doing this any other way but I'm sure it'll be pretty difficult and could potentially damage your phone. Once you get the bottom figured out slip the top over and you're set!
Now for my review:
The Good: One thing you'll read over and over when researching the Galaxy S 6 is the constant complaint of less than stellar battery life. I don't tend to have an issue with it. The quick charging seems to make up for it. That aside, It is SUPER convenient to never need to worry about your phone dieing. I had a friend get married this weekend and I wanted to snap photos and take videos of the occasion. Normally I would worry about my phone staying alive through the night but by the end of the night (2 a.m.) after a full day of using my phone heavily, I still had two bars on my case battery and 90% on my phone. I would say thing really allows you to use your phone the way you want and not worry about anything. Unintended bonus: Because the battery is separate from the case, this can be used as an external battery for anything. All you need is a cable and you're good to go.
The bad: This thing is bulky. You could say "well what did you expect?" but still. This thing adds a lot of weight and bulk to a device that is just so pretty to look at. Since the case and the battery are separate- they're connected by a power adapter. I mentioned it before but it worries me that if I drop it, how much damage will it cause to my phone. It's hard to say but it's enough to not have this as my daily driver. Because there is a battery in the way of the back and the power port is taken over, NFC and QuickCharging are gone. When purchasing the phone that was one of the selling points and it's a bummer to have to give those up. I use NFC all the time for profiles (between home and work). I'm also a bit bummed that there wasn't an SD Card slot available in this. I think if they did that this could have been easily a daily driver for me. The extra space would totally trump the lack of NFC and Quick Charging.
TL;DR: Will I use this as my daily driver? No, unfortunately not. Will I use it when I go on vacation this summer? You bet. It's a really great way to make sure you're covered throughout the day to have fun and not stress over your battery being at 20% at noon.

It's fairly common to have testers when new products come out. This is one reason I like to have the latest and greatest phones, free accessories for just a tiny bit of work. Leave them feedback, give them my opinion and a review of the product. I've gotta have at least 30+ different accessories laying around that I've acquired by reviewing things.

I got mine from Amazon for $20. It just came in yesterday. I think they delayed the shipment to put in the new U connector because mine has no issues staying on.
Unfortunately, I ran it down over the course of just a few hours yesterday! Well, I had skipped the step of charging it for 12 hours since when I plugged it in to the charger, it said it was full! So last night I charged overnight for about 12-13 hours.
We'll see how it holds up today. If you have any other questions about the case, I can try to answer them.
I'm kind of bummed out that they're abandoning the 2800mAh early adopters and skipping straight to 3500. I wonder if they'll ship the people who bought the first gen product the new revision.

Review added.
I'll go ahead and post my review as well.
I got mine on Thursday, so had all weekend to use it. It was a busy weekend and limited access to a charger, so I found the case really useful, especially on Sunday. I like having it as it really provides peace of mind for battery life. I was with a group of people on Sun, and a few of them had their battery go out by the end of the afternoon. Not me. With the Zerolemon case, I had plenty of power to spare.
The case does provide protection to the camera (the camera is recessed quite a bit), but also a small lip on the front so that the screen is protected as well.
The case is bulky, and weighs a bit, as expected, but actually wasn't too bad. I had no problems carrying the phone/case in my jeans pocket. The only other con I can think of is that you can't use wireless charging with the case. Not a huge deal, as you hardly ever need to charge with all of this extra battery power.
Having the extra battery power to me is worth it. This is a great case to have when you are on vacation or know that you will be away from a power source for a while.
Do any exist, which are safe and reliable?
On previous notes, I bought a slightly higher capacity Mugen but can't find any for the note 4 (in the UK).
My phone is now 9 to 10 months old and the battery is tiring (I think). Maybe a refresh is due. I can imagine the higher speed charging kills them off sooner too. ANOTHER good reason why the Note 5 should have a removable battery. A a built in battery will be performing under par in no time.

thanks I just saw that.
How much extra juice do you get from normal charging?
So 4 months later, how are the batterys holding up?
My OEM battery seems to not be holding juice long enough and I'm looking for a replacement.
Yes, I want to know as well. Facing same issue as OP.

I hope you find what you're looking for... I am hooked on high capacity batts, and now even the little handed wife can handle a Hyperion 8000 batt with TPU case easily- they're not as brick-like as the zerolemon. Bought a new 8000 and a case for a total of 38 bucks with free shipping on amazon yesterday.
But everyone has their own way of wanting things- hope it works out. If it doesn't, though, I'll offer that it really doesn't take long to adapt to the Hyperion type with it's case. That same case works with the Anker 6400 too. Both have been great performers for me.
Cheers!

Thanks for your input. I'm more inclined towards the standard fit because of the accessories I already have: the car support, the cases, etc.. An oversize higher capacity battery would imply further investment in other stuff, while a standard fit would just (hopefully) improve a little on the OEM battery. If any of the batteries mentioned can fit the original samsung car windshield support I'd consider them a an option.
I just received this one today and so far it seems pretty good. Same size as OEM but it took noticeably longer to charge so the extra capacity seems legit. I had a Deep Stretch for my Sensation back in the day and it was great, so we'll see after a few days how this one performs in the ol' note 4.

I saw that battery, but passed it up due to the blurry photo (and the battery looks in the photos like it's a cheap battery with a sticker on it) and the generic reviews (as if the seller may have made a few of them). It just all looked like a cheap battery to me.
Let us know how it performs. Longer charging time may not indicate a bigger battery, especially if the battery really is a cheap Chinese battery or something.

OK so after a couple days with this battery I can say that it's good. The more I use it the better it seems to get too, on the first day it was roughly the same as my stock battery but today it's lasting a lot longer. I am getting a noticeable bump in overall life, ending my day with about 30% more juice left than I normally do.
Deep Stretch is legit, like I mentioned before I had one of their batteries a few years ago with my Sensation and it gave me noticeably more life as well. These aren't good if you're wanting a major increase in battery life, but they're great just to get your phone comfortably through a day of moderately heavy use without having to bulk it up.

This battery uses new technology? How could they made a same size but much higher capacity comparing to stock one? Could you post your onscreen time with this battery?
I am always skeptical about batteries that claim higher capacity while not being physically larger. Not saying these are bad but for I wouldn't buy it for the bigger number on the package. Personally, I tend to go with OEM batteries, bought with retail packaging from a reputable seller. Sure these are too expensive for what they are, but at least, I know what I am getting.
It is worth noting that li-ion/li-po batteries degrade slowly over time. So when you change your year-old battery for a new one, you are very likely to notice an improvement, even if you replaced it with the exact same model.

Now that you have it a few more days how is it going? I'm also interested in purchasing a standard fit battery.

I ended up getting a v10 the other day, but I did use the battery for about 2 weeks and it definitely did give me a noticeable bump in overall life. For $25 I would say go for it.
I had the opportunity to try out this case upon release in exchange for an honest review. I have not been instructed on whether it has to be a positive or negative review, so this is completely unbiased.
First of all, this is not my first product by ZeroLemon. I had a case from them on an old Galaxy S3 years ago (back when you could take off the back of the phone and slide the extended battery into the back). I loved that case, and I loved the idea of ZeroLemon extending my battery so that I could go 2 days on one charge and not worry about charging during long days away from a charger. So I was very excited to try out this new one for my Note9.
Initial impressions: it does, as you would expect, essentially double your battery life (which is already superb on this Note9). Surprisingly, it never seems to QUITE refill your battery completely, which is odd since the capacity of the case is 20% larger than the capacity of the phone battery. I do like that I can easily go 2 days on one charge, like I could back in the day with my S3. I do like that it has a battery indicator light on the case so you know if it is charged. If battery life is one of your most important features, than this is absolutely a no brainer. It's not a huge case (for an extended battery, that is) compared to some larger ones.
The negatives: the case is sort of bland in terms of design. I like that they offer a blue one to somewhat match the Ocean Blue color of the Note9. Additionally, you lost some functionality that may be important to some: wireless charging, NFC (mobile payments), water resistance (IP68 rating), and the ability to transfer files (only can charge through the case). Now for some people, depending on your usage, this is not a huge deal. For others, it would be detrimental to their phone usage. So it really is up to you! Do you want insane battery life? Or do you need those other features?
Other notes: the case is easy to get on and get off. I have no concerns about damaging the USB C port with this as some have said. The case is slippery, which could be good or bad depending on your preferences.
All-in-all, I think it's a 4-star case. Great for some! Not great for others.
why dont these phone case battery companies just use wireless charging on the cases? A button to turn off/on the charging when necessary.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they upgraded the note 9 5k mah battery case
https://zerolemon.com/products/galaxy-note-9-battery-case-5000mah-upgraded
Now features pass through and data sync. No need to remove phone out of case.

Man that sucks. I bought one of these and then they go and update it

Yeah, they emailed me and offered me 70% off it I'll review the new one, haha. I guess I should do it!
Mine arrived today...the updated version. I had originally purchased another brand on Amazon that didn't support data sync and it was a dealbreaker so I returned it right as ZL released their new version.
Case texture and fit are very good. I had 2 goals with this case....Android Auto compatibility with my Alpine head unit and DeX compatibility with the Samsung dock.
Looks like this case gets me 1 for 1. The case allows Android Auto mode to activate so I can use Waze and Spotify, etc when driving. This was most important.
DeX was a no-go unfortunately. This was less important as I have a Tab S4 with LTE I can take with me. Still disappointed it doesn't work...but nothing in the advertising ever claimed it would. Just FYI for anyone interested.
Small review....I like the case better than I thought I would. It's a keeper.
I like the looks of the case and with the fixes, I think it is a good buy!
On the website I just read about not fitting with full screen protectors. What kind of screen protection did you go with?

Not sure if you're asking me or OP, but I don't use screen protectors. Maybe someone else will chime in if they are using one.
