The one on top right is the extended transparent (accuweather) and the one on bottom right is the asus widget

I guess you could open the custom rom (using 7-zip or apk swapper) go into the system/app folder, delete the accuweather apk and then copy one of the apk provided in this thread.... i tried this way and seemed to work, though i ended up using the stock accuweather....

Thanks it worked (I had to change the .odex to .bak also). I didn't know all were compatible.

You can inject the apk into the custom rom zip (using 7zip and/or apk swapper), and then install normally, or, you could just copy the apk in your internal/external memory and use any root-able explorer to install it....

in the very first post you will find a zip with several version of the widget, i believe the original one is also included.
I have only tried the widget with TW.. i guess it should work with NOVA.... give it a shot and let us know how it goes !

No need to flash through CWM. Copy the apk to system/app and the so file to system/lib and you are ready to go.

Where did you get Widget Climate ? I don't have that widget after installing the zip file in this thread. I'm refering to the acuweather widget in your snapshot. EDIT : I have found it in this thread already.

You can try the TW launcher designed by tkari4 for his 240 dpi Rom here:

I have extracted and placed the launcher for downloading on skydrive. The link is:

Please push the launcher in the relevant system/preload folder and change the permissions to rw-r-r (644). Please don't forget to backup your existing TW launcher apk file, in case something goes wrong.

Hello, here the transparency for the LG weather widget, work on kitkat 4.4.2.
Just copy the file into system> app with root explorer, set permissions to rw-r-r (like all the other apps in the folder) and reboot

Maybe try looking in system/priv-app or one of the other folders that hold system apps in Kk? (I haven't updated yet so I am not sure exactly where they all are...)

Did you reboot after the app change? If you are on KitKat stock rom (no custom) I hope you are rooted and you give to the app the correct permission!
The mod works on odexed rom because I'm on CloudyPro II rom, but I don't know if it works on "pure stock kitkat"!

Yes, i chmod'ed the app correctly and rebooted before posting. And yes, i'm running a rooted ROM. The only diferencie is that i pushed and copied the app in /system/app vía adb shell (yea, i've done the remount-rw-stuff too).
Another thing I've noticed is that if you remove the apk, you must re-download the original theme. Strange, because nothing was removed prior the apk's copy.

I was never was a huge fan of the stock Samsung 2014 UI Weather Clock Images (AccuweatherPhone14.apk)
So here is my version of it with "Real Weather" images and a redesigned UI for the full screen weather.
Already have this posted in some other forums I just thought I would bring it these forums for you to enjoy.
All background images have been replaced with non-flat high quality weather conditions. This includes the widget, list and fullscreen views in both portrait and landscape.
A lot of time and work went into creating this so please if you want to include it in a mod or ROM it is OK but you must let me know through a private message AND link to this thread with appropriate credit given. That is all I ask.
Should work on rooted Note 3, galaxy s4 and S5. Most likely any KitKat touchwiz device running 4.4.2

Shouldn't be. The zip installs the fonts for the clock. Could be launcher related I suppose. I am aware that there is issues with 4.4.4 and tmo in S4 forums could be the same here.

I'm on S5 launcher now. I've seen so many variants of them . I really think its a tmo thing as I had issues with them here and there. 4.4.4 I believe.
If anyone has issues with this please tell me what ROM, Android version, build and carrier so I can narrow it down easier.

If you extract the zip and copy/paste the files using root explorer then set permissions to rw,r,r then reboot yes. Just be sure to delete old files and odex files first.

I tried to click on the app.. and it force closed, then i use luckypatcher and copy it to system/app and still doing the same :/ ... i have fulmics 6.1 + nova launcher.

Please apply LG Home Launcher then set up this theme. it not support other laucher
