i installed toggle fullscreen and my UI got corrupted.. i just wanted the navbar to dissapear but this thing also removed the status bar... so i made a factory reset but it did not work! i lose all my files and the UI is still corrupted (fullscreen, no status bar, no nav var.. crashing constantly)
what can i do? i though the factory reset would fix this.. maybe it did not changed the build.prop file.. can someone upload build.prop for xt926 razr hd (no maxx) ?? or if there is any other way to change this.. i was rooted before i made the factory reset i dont know if i lose root now or what.
help!!
....

Hi, im new in this android world, but i have some it experience, thing is i have bougth a dual-sim phone, all was good i was installing apps and everything was ok, all of the sudden the names of the carriers in the pulldown menu of the statusbar, are bigger (the font is), also instead of appear one below each other, aligned with their respective sim icon.
i have tried to restore default factory settings, but no joy, also i dont know when i just loose the access to the recovery mode (pwr+volup) i even flashed a factory bin on it, but no the preloader (just dont work wothout the recovery cable), so im assumin that the corrupted file is still there (im afraid to do a clear nvram, because i have no recovery and i dont know if the flashing without the preloader will work and i dont want to brick my phone).
i cant change the rom (as is unsupported for the most modding rom sites) so, can anyone please help me?
Try reflashing with flashtool. should work like a charm

i have tried, thats the only way to reflash the phone because in some way i had ruined my recovery from sd card option...
weird is... now my headphone icon is missing when its plugged, it works... but isnt showing off on the status bar
So I had just rooted my device, and I overclocked it and did some small tweaks, and I was messing around with Titanium Backup. I accidently deleted Touchwiz and now the homescreen is black. It only displays the status bar. The lockscreen works, but that is about it. Is there anyway I can fix this?

You should wipe data and cache, and if that doesn't help, flash the stock ROM again.
Hi
I had Cm10.1 unofficial Oc kernel.
I backed up my apps with titanium Then i flashed avatar rom 7.0. While im restoring my apps i restored old Systemui accidently
after that my status bar gone. Wallpaper turned black. How to reset it? Thanks
Couldn't find any quick solve. So i downloaded avatar rom to my phone and i flashed it again.
hello, i have changed some frameworks (also settings mod) after that some features didn't work properly (like can't change language it FC s...) also i if i reset factory i will get bootloop because of installed mods (like aeons small app mod)... yesterday i used pattern lock and when i set it immediately i got bootloop... i think because of other changed settings i think that if i restore my old backup (data) it will help and finally get my phone back... please tell me will it work? i don't want to completelly brick phone... im not advanced user... using Xperia Arc S Stock 4.0.4 ICS
hey,
today i wanted to change my fonts on my rooted nexus 5 with the font installer app,
but when it rebooted my soft keys were simply gone...
i am currently on the stock rom, but would this problem be fixed if i just flashed a new rom?
i could somewhat regain the soft keys by installing the soft key enabler, but i rather want the original keys back..
can someone tell me how to fix this?? ( i am running 4.4.3 on the nexus device)
thx in advance
stefan
Well,
I think, if you just reflash the system.img of the original stock image, it will re-enable your softkey wihout losing anything (well, of course, you'll loose root and xposed if you're using it.)

Check your build.prop.
If qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 is a line, change the 1 to 0. "Softkey enablers" just change the value for you.

ok thx! another question:
is it possible to flash a factory 4.4.2 image on top of my current 4.4.3? i wanted to flash afterwards a snapshot of cm11 on my nexus.. it doesnt matter if data gets wiped as my device is relatively new and i can copy all my stuff manually
thx

I recommend you wipe before flashing 4.4.2 back if you're on 4.4.3, it will probably cause errors and all that stuff and it's always better to clean flash.
Go into your recovery and wipe, then boot into bootloader and run flash-all.bat in the factory image. Don't forget to backup/copy anything important. :silly:
