I have a Kindle Fire HD 7. I have been stuck with the old carousel launcher and i was wondering if i could get the Nova Launcher installed and gets themes working. Also if this matter (most likely) i am not rooted and have 7.4.1user_blahblah.

There shouldn't be any reason why you can't install Nova Launcher from the Play Store. Have you tried?
Nova launcher might not be compatible with kindles, but I'm not sure, of the play store doesn't have it, you'll have to root it and install a custom rom on it

That's perfectly fine with me, its just a matter of i don't know how to root a kindle fire hd.

hi all, here is my situation..i wanted to play dark knight or reckless racing so i have been googling chainfire 3d pro and its ability to play tegra games and others to our nexus device. after that i installed it and downloaded the necessary plugins. after installation i tried to install cf3d and the phone shutdown and was stuck at google logo. im using paranoid 2.54(jb-4.1.2) with 4.2 gapps. hmn i wanted to install the plugin first but there was no option available so i installed the cf3d first. did i do it wrong? or its a compatability issue?
I just found out that it was normal to not boot up . !? But how do i install the drivers if after installation it stucks up in Google logo? I really dont understand.. need help please!

Chainfire 3d is not compatible with JB..

I'm on ICS and I was wondering if it was possible to install any Motorola JB launcher (Razr i/Atrix HD/Razr HD).
I want the new google search bar, BUT I don't want to update it to Jelly Bean because I will lose my HDMI settings and I can't lose them (I downgraded to ICS for that reason).
I try to install Homescreen.apk but it fails. Is there any way to do it? Please help me

Cause its got many features. Scroll to the right until ure in the interface tab. There u can tweak as youd like the notificatikns...

Im trying to install it manually because my tablet isnt rooted

For Xperia Devices with Xperia firmwares.
Read everything in the OP & the download post before doing anything !
Install a home like Apex or nova from google play then take a CWM backup(to avoid any boot loops at all)
Flash the Xperia_Z_home_V5.0_Home_Base_Xperia_Devices_Thilin aC.zip via cwm.
Now flash Xperia_Z_home_V5.00_Widget_Pack_Xperia_Devices__Th ilinaC.zip via cwm.
Now choose & flash any mod & wallpaper zip that suits your resolution.
Boot back to android and enjoy
No root but still needs work

The system dump had leaked, so many had access to it. The launcher was ported...
Here is it, an example of it ported to Xperia S, with really good screenshots...

I wouldnt consider it a phablet, the Note 2, 3, and Xperia Z Ultra are phablets. The honami looks just a touch longer than the Xperia Z in these pics:

And that definitely isnt phablet to me. Even so if it is you could force it to tablet by tweaking of just force your apps into tablet mode with Xposed.

It's only for 4.2.2 so the only users who'd be able to use it would be Pollux users, even so it looks like it'd work. I'm excited to try it!

Tested in Galaxy S Advance running CM10.
The launcher works, but I didn't like it.
I'm saying that because the launcher is so simple and I like to customize.
OK...there are hundreds of different version of Xperia launchers here in XDA. doesn't this old version of Xperia launcher?
it sure it is not Xperia Hanomi launcher from latest JB version..
