[Q] Not able to Overclock my Explorer ! - HTC Pico (Explorer)

I have partitioned my SD-Card as told by Cute_Prince...
And I wanted to flash AteeqRom V5 OC...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801388
This is the how I made the partitions...(Using Minitool Partition Wizard) & (Running on Windows 7) !
1.Deleted any existing partition.
2.Made a SD-CACHE partition as ext2.
2.Made a SD-DATA partition as ext2.
3.Made the SD-CARD partition as fat32.
Next what I did is...
1.Transferred the ROM.zip to the SD-CARD.
2.Inserted the SD-CARD in my phone.
3.In CWM, I formatted data, dalvik cache and system as well.
4.I then flashed the ROM.zip.
After this I get stuck at the HTC Screen, the ROM wont boot up...
THE SAME HAPPENS WITH THE TIGERSENSE OC REVAMPED ROM..!
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong...I've tried doing this many times with the Ateeq ROM..!
I really want the Stock ROM with OC...
So I request you to please please please help me...:crying:
Thanks in Advanced !

How abt upgrading to android 4.2.2 using CM10.1. You can then use Pandora's kernel too to OC to 800mhz

@ op
hi mate, if you want to take the new OC (one by cute_prince's method) install cm10 and the n flash pandora kernel , or install cm10.1 and flash jarvis kernel

use CWM recovery and format boot, system, cache, dalvik, userdata, then try to install...

I think for sense ROMS you need to create 3 partitions not 2..
SD-EXT, around 512MB is enough. It contains only system files.
SD-DATA, you can give whatever size you want. This where the user applications are installed
SD-CACHE, around 65MB is enough.
above all partitions should be ext4
and one is default SD card

What do you mean ?

[Q] sd-ext partition corrupt?( partition made using CWM)

I apologize if similar thread has already been posted.
I had just installed a new ROM (Holo Sandvich) when I decided to increase my internal memory,
I saw a few tutorials, made an SD card paritition of 1GB.(Total Size=4GB) After that was done, the tutorial directed me to write this in a terminal window.
su (press enter)(pop up of superuser will be there —>Allow it)
m2sd mount enable(enter)
m2sd data disable(enter)
m2sd apps disable(enter)
m2sd dalvik disable(enter)
m2sd data enable(enter)
But after each code I would read
sh:m2sd not found.
I thought something was wrong.. I installed Minitool Partition manager.. When I mounted USB. I was surprised to see no sd-ext drive. Only the 2.73 normal partition was present..
It was like my 1GB disappeared..
When I asked my friend ([email protected]).. He said that CWM corrupts your sd-ext drive..
So, now I want to know how to proceed? How should I get that 1 GB back in FAT32 format? Is that 1 GB lost?
If I merge the drives again, I'll reparition in TWRP then..

My first thread.
Apologies if solution is too obvious or something.
Please bear my noob.

HTC Pico
ROM- Holo Sandvich 1.3.
use twrp or minitool partition, and use int2ext script or mounts2sd app from playtore

m2sd commands worked, but internal memory did not increase. (Should have!)
Connect your sdcard to pc through card reader
Then delete sd-ext using minitool partition wizard
For partitioning your you have two ways
1-use minitool partition wizard
2-flash twrp recovery
And partition your sdcard(this will formay your sdcard)

I have some doubts :(

What is the difference between ext2, ext3 , ext4 ?? and what are they actually??
I have 8gb class 4 memory card. If i need to make 3 partitions (sd-ext, sd-data, sd-cache) for installing a rom and a kernel in my pico, how much space should i allot for each partition?

well, make both partitions as ext3 if you want to mount external partition in recovery.
I'm using sd-data as ext3 & sd-cache as ext4 & I can mount it in recovery, nandroid backup also works.

connect sdcard to pc via card reader & check in minitool partition wizard..you may have made the partitions logical or something..post the details here.
You need to make all partitions as Primary & with a sequence.

Remove all your partitions..
Then flash the ROM..
As the ROM is in band memory card removal won't affect the ROM..
Now take a backup of your card..
Create partition through recovery ..
Use link2sd only not anything else..
via Apache Helicopter
I don't understand
You mean delete partions flash rom copy sdcard files make partions from recovery?
