Hi XDA. I just left for a trip, and about an hour into the drive my S3 has started completely refusing to send messages of any kind. The second I press send it alerts me that the message wasn't sent. As in the title, I can do just about everything else, be it calling, data, recieving messages, you name it-I just can't send messages at all.

Just flash your rom again. I would hope you have it saved on your sd card or internal memory. If you have a backup you can also try restoring a backup.

I normally send PM's through my phone, but when I'm home I send them though my PC. Although messages sent from my pc appear to go through, meaning I dont get any errors, the messages don't show up in the sent folder. This leads me to believe they're not truly sending. When I send the same message through my XDA app on my phone, they send perfectly and show up in my sent folder. I tried this sending messages to multiple people, and they only go through on my app. Has anyone else heard this, or had this problem? Slightly annoying.

I'm not seeing any of the messages I send in the sms app. The person will receive them but it's not showing up in my sms app.
I can also receive messages just fine
This happened after restarting my phone then going to sleep.
I'm on miui trinity kernel.

Not much else to say. Switched over to Messaging to send a text, the app closed, and when I started it up again, it found no SMS. Same thing after I rebooted the phone. Any way to recover my SMS or prevent the issue from occurring again?
Did you delete data in dialer storage anytime recently?

If this is in the wrong forum please move to correct one. i didnt know where to post.
First I would like to say that I have searched google and forums for an answer to this question and have found some fixes, none fixed mine. So here goes my first post.
I have a LG Genesis
Stock froyo
Rooted
Supercharged by ZeppelinRox, with sd tweak and 3g turbocharger.
2 days ago text messages wouldn't send, they just hang on "sending..."
That day it fixed itself after a couple hours and sent the messages out. Without doing anything. I couldn't try to fix it because I was at work.
Yesterday it stopped sending messages again and is still not sending.
Things I have tried:
Reinstalled gmail (I uninstalled it weeks ago because I never use it).
Cleared messaging app data ( on both stock messaging and handcent )
Wiped caches
Dialled *228 on us cellular this updates the phone somehow.
Pulled battery
Checked all apps for startup issues (few weeks ago I disabled startups on certain apps)
That's all I can think of that I have done.
If anyone has any answers or anything I have missed pls all input is appreciated.

Re: Help with text messages not sending.
Some past text messages that were "sending" for 24hrs just went through(but not all). I have a log saved but I can't figure out what it means. I am hoping someone is able to help me figure out what it means. If anyone can help.

Okay, I figured out the problem.
I had disabled the boot completed receiver on the stock messaging app. I use handcent instead.
After I reenabled then messages started sending again.

Hi guys,
I am currently on Beanstalk v4.4 (rooted and unlocked bootloader)and I seem to have problems sending text messages. When replying to a text, the first text reply I send is able to go through but then subsequent texts I send have issues sending and the problem persists for about 30 mins or so at which point I am finally able to send one more message...
So all in all, I'm only able to send a SMS once in a while any ideas for a fix?

No current fix(other than going back to TW) but here is the most prominent discussion thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658572
The fix seems to be going back to TW and doing an NVrestore if you have a backup, reprovisioning if you don't. Then you can restore your nandroid and be back in business.
