Hello everyone. I upgraded my ZS570KL (2.15) to Android 7, followed the official bootloader unlock, and then came to the root process from here, and the device went into loop / brick. How to restore? I downloaded the firmware and drivers, tried to flash the sideload adb, tried the asus flash tools, and nothing restores. How can I do unbrick and root by Android N? Thank you very much.

Hello, according to what you said, after rooting this happened, do you still have the custom recovery?
Flash this zip file and reboot
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133/
1. Unlock the phone first
2. Download file below
3. Flash and go
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-Z01K-20171011.img
fastboot oem reboot-recovery
4. Root / backup ... and profit !

Hi , would you please tell me how can I "reboot and install again" ?
Since the touch screen is not working , I restart the phone by pressing the power key a few second . Restart the whole process for more then 10 times but the touch screen is still not working .
ASUS messed up the touch screen by updating the firmware nearly in every version, I suggest you upgrade to the newest ROM and flash twrp again. For reboot just issue ' adb reboot ' ..
May I know your firmware version ?

Hi , thank you for your suggestion .
I can't get the firmware version in the hardware information section , so I bet the software version will work as well ? Actually , I just updated my phone few days ago , so I think I'm already in the latest version .
( maybe this one ? )
After entered the TWRP , no matter ADB or Fastboot has no response , so the only way to reboot is to press the power key for about 10 seconds .

Root and OTA
Hi,
If I used your unofficial bootloader unlock method and install TWRP and root, if I want to get the next asus OTA update, can I unroot and download the full firmware from the ASUS wesbite and install it even though I have the bootloader unlocked? Thanks.
Hi. I want to have root but I want to know how you get OTA or how to get back to stock ?
Sorry , it's me again . Just a few hours ago I roll back to stock system , and perform the OTA update . After that I've root with the system again the system keep going into the recovery and cannot return to android system . Is there anyway I can return to the normal andoird system ? Thank you .

If still on TWRP recovery copy the full ROM (downloaded from ASUS, do not unzip, just copy the zip) to a SD card or to internal memory of the phone, reset to factory from within TWRP and perform an install. Worked for me. First boot takes ages

Well , I've tried this at the very beginning , but no luck . Seems the recovery is corrupted and keep stuck in it .
Finally , got a .img reocvery image , flash it via TWRP and the system resumes normal , at least it is working for me now .
Hello everyone,
I consider an update to the latest 15.0405.1712.83 version, so I'd like to know if there are any issues with TWRP compatibility or getting root back on the new ROM. Any modified boot needed?
Hello everyone,
I installed the twrp on my Asus Zenfone 4 (ZE554K -WW_14.1050.1708.36). I tried to root it, but no success... After several tries, I just gave up and now I'm trying to get the stock recovery. I couldn't find the stock recovery.img on "google" for this model. Is there any way to remove the twrp from this model of phone and some way to get stock recovery.img ? I tried to download the firmwares from official site, but I couldn't find the recovery.img inside zip files.
Thanks in advance.!

I just use the above TWRP, just can use it to install Magisk to get root.
This cannot backup data...
(Therefore suggest just boot off the custom recovery TWRP without installing it until a new version release)

Thanks again for your suggestions.
I was on 14.1060.1709.80 version of ROM with the TWRP 3.1.1 (2017.10.11).
Somehow I've managed to update to the latest 15.0405.1801.89 stock, and then flashed TWRP 3.2.1 from the @shakalaca Medium blog, so the credit goes to him anyway.
Seems like it works just fine, I successfully did a nandroid backup and flashed the latest Magisk version.
P.S.: Unfortunately I can't post external links, so either you find it yourself or the author would post the link in this thread.

Thanks! Good news for about TWRP 3.2.1 !!!
Then I searched in Google and found a web site: Android Infotech
then download the TWRP 3.2.1 version and tested,
it can use the sd card and also can read the data!
Therefore it can use to backup!

Sorry for delaying on reply and thank you so much for helping !
Next day, after I posted here, I searched a bit more and found a link with some recovery files.
Unfortunally I can't post the link cause I'm new user, but it's a Stock Recovery from shakalaca, on androidfilehost.com (thanks to him).
Then I got the stock ROM and everything gone ok. Then I updated to Oreo and now I'm trying to troubleshoot an usb file transfer issue. Another long history...
Is it safe to do this? I am with ZE554KL and a week, and I want to do root, but I am afraid and doubt, if someone can tell me if it is safe, I am grateful.

é seguro fazer esse procedimento? estou com o ZE554KL e uma semana, e quero fazer root, mas tenho medo e duvidas, se alguem puder me afirmar se é seguro, fico agradecido.
Any way to un-unlock the phone? I unlocked the phone and never had any luck booting into twrp. Ended up in a boot loop (fixed) so just going to give up on it for now before i brick it. I see no point in leaving it unlocked

It is safe to root the device , however , please make sure ALL your data already backup .
I'm not sure if it is due to the new android file system or not , but my storage is totally wiped out after I root the device . it's not happened for my previous android phone .
Just my 2 cents .
Hi everyone. This is my first post in an xda form, and I am stuck with a major problem. Here's my situation:
I have had twrp for more than a year. I've been skipping my ota update, but the update went through recently. Since then, the phone has been booting into twrp recovery mode. On googling, I found most people who had the same problem had solved it using the terminal from twrp.
As I am not allowed to post direct links yet,

Is there any such similar command for LeEco Le 1S?
I am stuck with this for a week now and would be immensely grateful for any guidance on how to proceed.
Hey Can you still open TWRP if yes then flash latest Custom Roms there are plenty of Custom roms out there. I suggest Mandfx's Rom.. if not then We need more details about your rom version you were using.BTW you can't officially update your phone if its bootloader is unlocked you are lucky if you can still boot up into TWRP recovery . Press that Thanks button if I helped.
.
You can try to find the leaked unofficial 3.5.0 twrp build somewhere. And check the twrp telegram group.

it is better to flash vbmeta first (to disable dm-verify) and then flash twrp image
So I flash first vbmeta and then twrp, but the error I had was that it stayed on the Samsung logo and on infinite reboots
After flashing twrp and the vbmeta you want to boot in to twrp and allow system modifications then you have to either flash a custom rom or flash a custom kernel so you can use the stock rom. Or you can just pre root your phone and then install twrp without the vbmeta, and you will be able to boot to the stock rom without a custom kernel.

I have the exact same phone as you.
I used this post to root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rooting-oneplus-nord-2-ce-lite.4500297/
Didn't run into any problems
I have bricked this device (One Plus Nord CE 2 Lite) by flashing the unofficial twrp image for this device. Device bootloops in TWRP.
Previously, I had succesfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted this device by flashing the patched magisk boot.img by following the method mentioned in this post (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rooting-oneplus-nord-2-ce-lite.4500297/)
How to restore the factory image and recover from this?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
....double post ...already answered
...bricking impossible

Sir, If you have patched magisk boot.img and blank vbmeta.img files on your pc used previously for rooting this device, this will save you your precious time.
Flash the files to their appropriate partitions, the device will overwrite the partitions and boot back with root access.
If you have updated the device after root and flashed magisk to inactive slot for saving root access after OTA the above method won't work.
Installed official version.
But i need twrp for this device.
Any one installed??
Sir, TWRP image available for this device is experimental, unstable and buggy.
There is a problem that occurs when you flash twrp if you are rooted.
After flashing the device bootloops into TWRP and won't boot into system OS even if it's forced to reboot.
Even without root if flashed, twrp cant flash or wipe any data.
On the screen the errors are shown in red.[failed to mount ' / ' ](Invalid Argument)
Let's wait until a stable image is available for this device in the near future.
Thank you .
I want pixel experience on nord ce 2 lte
If any one installed . Please guide me
...pixel experience doesn't work on Nord 2 CE devices ...none of the functions are compatible with this device ...I tried more than one configurations by myself ...the few things you can get working, like Contacts App or Messages App, you can manually download and install from APKmirror or other sources ...no need to "module" these little things
...I would like to change the boot animation, for example ...but to be honest, how often and how long do you see the boot up screen???
i again damaged the os.
This time every thing not working.
it boot loops to fastboot.
Any help ?? @DerDoktore
Is there any msmtool for nord ce 2 lte
...Bootloop to fastboot???? ...that is new to me ...I know the "system damaged" Screen and a traditional Bootloop ...does it "break" the loop at fastboot??? ...or do you see half a second the fastboot screen and restart and again???
