Hi,
Does anyone know if Multi-CSC codes can be installed on top of a custom rom? My N7105 lost it's function to get Data Service (shows Insert Sim Card when pressing Mobile Networks.) I think the custom rom messed up my CSC when I checked via *#1234#.
I downloaded apps to change CSC but it says my device only has one CSC.
Any help would be appreciated.
I installed the one from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031575
it was supposed to change both Modem and CSC.
yet when I check, it only did change the CP code. the CSC is still set to something else which is not for my region.
After I have installed and successfully changed my CSC on my phone, via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208627
it still says No SIM Card under Mobile Networks menu.
HELP PLEASE..

When I was using any custom ROMs with CSC of any Other country I was getting error like "Refreshing SIM card data" and the network disappears for some time.
So I thought of doing something to get rid of this error and made a flashable zip of the Indian CSC-DDLA1.
You can flash this zip from CWM RECOVERY Mode.
I have tested this on Custom ROMs but it may also work on Stock ROMs.
To test if the CSC is flashed successfully:
In the Dialer type *#272*your_IMEI_no#
If your Country's CSC is already selected press back button, else select your preferred CSC and your phone will reboot.
And you are DONE!

Press THANKS if you like my WORK.
By default its INU, its Indian right?

Yes, by default its INU/Indian.
You just need to flash it on any custom or stock ROM and you can get INDIAN CSC on any ROM.
Thanks, I have INU right now, so I guess no need to apply this...
Downloading it anyway for future use

Hi, i was trying to send you a private message but its not allowed. Im having a similar issue with my Galaxy Note 4 N910C, its original CSC code is from EUR and Greece: CSC country, i live in Miami, United Sates, and this is the first time something like this happens to me, every 10 minutes i keep having this popup REFRESHING SIM DATA, i already change it with a new sim but nothing was fix, this Note 4 model comes with LTE radios, my carrier uses 2 of my Note 4s LTE bands but for some reason it doesnt connect to LTE only HSPA+, please if you can do anything like you did for your phone, contact me, i need your help, PLEASE,....im desperate
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on the EE network in the UK. I should have the option to use wifi calling but the option is not present in the settings menus. My phone was not originally supplied by the EE mobile provider, instead I purchased the phone which appears to have come from Italy and has the Italian mobile provider TIM (this is shown on the CSC code on the phone)
Can anybody help me either change this CSC code to the UK one for EE or at least the generic one for UK specific firmware, or a way of somehow enabling the wifi calling feature - I did look this up but I can't edit the necessary system config (xml) files as they are read-only and my phone is not rooted.
cheers
baronne
You have to flash a CUSTOM PIT file... https://1fichier.com/?4f8y7tvinm
First of all, this will DELETE EVERYTHING, since you are on the wrong firmware...
In odin (use 3.10), go to PIT section then click PIT then load that PIT file.
Then, with that file, DO NOT FLASH YET. Go to AP, then load up the EE Firmware. (IT CAN TAKE A LONG TIME AND IT MAY SAY NOT RESPONDING, THIS IS NORMAL, DO NOT CLOSE THE PROGRAM)
Then you can flash, MAKE SURE AUTO REBOOT, F. RESET TIME, AND NAND ERASE ALL IS ENABLED... Nothing else.
Here is a link to the EE Firmware where you can download (You have to create an account, and it is quite slow download): http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/59518/G920FXXU3QOJF_G920FEVR3QOJF_EVR/
Btw, this does work, I am on Stock EE Firmware with WiFi Calling
I have a VOD Uk device I flashed to BTU so it was unbranded. With the MM coming out I plugged into smartswitch to change back. All went fine however it selects SIM csc and not VOD as it is a multi csc. Now I can't use wifi calling with this csc. In tried multiple flashes and wiping cache and resets. I've even gone to the XEF rom and back and still get SIM csc when i flash it.
Is there any way of selecting the correct csc or editing the firmware without tripping Knox to just install the VOD csc.
Many thanks for your help.
I would also like to know if this can be done.:good:

I'm hoping there is a bug in smartswitch in relation to the Voda firmware as other country's like Voda Germany are restoring and getting SIM csc as well not the one specified in the restor
Smartswitch won't let me restore either, it give an error saying sm-g920f not compatible :crying:.
any of you folks got anywhere with this issue? I'm still stuck on SIM
I installed the XAC firmware on top of my BMC firmware in order to give me the standard Samsung stuff instead of my carrier stuff.
Now when I check CSC info in the Phone Info app it's all blank. The only thing that shows is Product Code and Mobile Operator. Everything else is blank.
I have a CSC file but the option in Odin is greyed out.
I've looked everywhere and can't find a proper walkthrough/tutorial for my questions
I have a g930w8 S7 canada which is a multi csc phone, i want to change the csc to another carrier that i'm now subscribed to and further they have newer update then old carrier.
So i'm wondering what my best choice is
1. change csc with *#272*IMEI# code, without sim in, let it reset, power off and then clear cache through recovery menu, then put sim in and it's essentially that new carriers phone? And latest firmware/ later otas would be to said new carrier?
2. flash latest new carrier firmware through odin and voila new carrier phone?
Which option is better? 1 is easier but does it change active csc and then when new update downloads does it change firmware csc?
Thanks for your help

Hi mate
assuming you are not root
option 1 is good but is not working anymore in most phones , once you change your CSC it stay active until you flash a different firmware with different CSC
option 2 maybe your only option , all canadian firmwares i see they seem to be single CSC , which one are you looking for? if so just flash it ( use CSC file , not home_csc) and you are done......backup csc change will factory reset your phone
