I am not a expert but I put in a little effort for the all the users of I9003 who wish to run DDMF1. Its smooth, Its working superbly.
So thought of Deodexing the Rom and Trying to put some customisations.
This Thread consist of :
1. Deodexed DDMF1 Rom for I9003.
2. Removing unwanted system apps.
3. Adding 15 toggles.
4. Adding 1% Batter Mod.
5. Adding Arabic Language Support.
6. Adding SwapSD Mod.
7. Added Boost Based both on Bam and Verrut kernel - Try out the Recomended link and post results.
For best results follow the procedure given below.

Flashing Procedure :
1. Flash XXKPE with PIT using Odin.
2. Flash DDMF1 only PDA using Odin.
3. Flash CWM selecting in PDA using Odin.
4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
5. Now put the Deodexed Rom in sd-card and flash using CWM.
6. Now Reboot your device.
Congrats, Now you have deodexed rom on your I9003.

can't say supper stable...until hw decoder fully works for video...(720p recording and play back)
there r still bugs..
*as unresponsiveness of touchscreen
*backlight issue
*when wifi in on bluetooth works slower
*third party camera crashes
*low frame rate recording and playback
......etc....
when it will be stable we all will definitely leave GB roms...

right now i m using the stock kernel only just did some customisation nothing else...and have not worked on swap sd...Lolation said in some thread that he will be working on it

Download both the parts and use HJsplit to join them.
NOTE:
Deleted apps - VoiceSearch, Quicksearchbox, SamsungIME.
In 14 toggle mod, flashlight is not working. I cant find out the problem. Use QuickPanelSettings app to hide flashlight.
Clearing memory with task manager will also close touchwiz launcher and you will have to wait for 2-3 sec(reloading of touchwiz). My advice- there is no need to clear RAM, Android OS will take care of RAM management.

What do u suggest me to implement your rom? Just flash it from cwm and after flashed wipe everything? can i avoid wiping? if i wipe will i lose the gps.conf and the modified vold.fstab?

modified vold.fstab is included in this ROM.
backup your gps.conf and after installation of this ROM, restore this file.
you should just flash the zip package via CWM. wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing this rom.
you can always flash the kernel of your choice.

Yeah.. There is no need to do a factory reset since, you are already using ZSLE5 stock. But if after flashing you encounter FC(s) then you might have to wipe everything & then re-install.

Looks like...
While some of you have installed the ICS leaked ROM, still, the kernel source is not yet released by Samsung. As a result, a custom kernel that compile from the source is not available in this moment.
Despite that, I have injected superuser and init.d support to the stock kernel. Please find below for the link (just flash it thru normal CWM flash zip process)

1) Rooted. If your ROM is not rooted, after flashing this kernel, you will get root!

After I received the kernel source from Samsung, I will patch back the changes in ardatdat v1.9beta kernel to that. Thanks.

Hmmm, interesting. I have 73MB's free space on my /system. I have Machram's backup and TouchWiz UX + SGS3 widgets installed and it doesn't exceed the partition size.

Kernel - Its Pre-rooted and has init.d script support. It will not support Voodoo as Ardatdat is waiting for Kernel source from samsung.
ROM - He made it as CWM flashable instead of a recovery file. Also he has deleted some bloats to get some free space.

init.d scripts are those set of scripts that will get executed each time when the mobile gets booted. Many System performance related scripts can be placed in \system\etc\init.d folder. For such scripts to get executed during boot time, the kernel shud supprt that. Ardatdat's kernel does tat job.
Do a complete cwm backup first. Then, flash the rom above in case u want to revert, restore the cwm backup.

OMG, my thanks is finished for today, I will hit thanks 2morrow for selva & Addy(ardatdat) also.
I theory, you could flash it directly and your data will not be deleted. But a factory reset is suggested if you upgrade from gingerbread to ics :thumbup:

If u r moving on from GB to ICS, do data wipe too buddy. Else u will face lot of FC, bit drag while scroll and battery drain will happen.

Yesterday, i flashed the ROM and was surprised to get the GPS locked and showing exact location on Map and on GPS test only AGPS option was selected .Earlier i have tried all the ROMs stock as well as Custom but could not get GPS location.......antutu score is also handsome 12686..

that fix is not work on codex ROM. so it is not working on your.
touch screen not working after installing this rom. Flashed stock rom still no success
working perfectly on mine . first flash by sptool ver .16 then start mobile then flash .20.then after start of fon to update start don't touch till it say firmware updated. then use any .20 stock zip

ive got a question here..
you said that theres no custom kernel..which means we will be on stock kernel that dont have a patch of deepsleep or init.d script for undervolting..how can you say that battery standby is good?..
battery gets charged quickly..how you can you do that?
to quickcharge a phone..put it on an flight mode..

I guess stock kernel does go into deep sleep

The bug is in the settings app.. and more features will be in updates like fixing settings, new framework as key lime pie is going to be released on october!!

Try to add soft buttons in the next update as the soft buttons is a major part of jelly bean series. and the ROM looks incomplete without it.

when ever you install a custom ROM you must wipe both the data and cache

I did not tried this with new patch. But this should be able to flash without trigger if you are able to install custom rom like dr.ketan from recovery without triggering warranty bit.

No FCs on font change. Which CSC features you're looking for? It rooted and fully customizable.

Thanks for your work and effort on behalf of us Note 2 users. Quick question that wasn't clear to me from your OP. I'm coming from a rooted 4.1.2 custom rom. Old bootloader. Do I flash the wifi patch before flashing your ROM or after flashing your ROM? And do you recommend your patch over some of the other threads here that give you an updated MJ5 bootloader (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566435). Or does your patch upgrade to MJ5 also?

You can flash this over 4.1.2 but it should be clean install. I mean wipe data / cache. You need patch only if you don't have wifi after flashing this ROM. Most probably you will need patch for wifi. You can either use link provided in OP or try link from dr.ketan's forum.

Havent tested this rom yet though, the bug is not there in indies ml4
