SDCard unmounted

hey
after installing cm 10.1.2 I got this problem whenever I restart my mobile ( GT-S7500 ace plus ), SDCard is unmounted from the system and can't access it by anyway though it is mounted in the recovery, and I can't mount it from the settings either
hope there is some solution for this

using that ofc still same problem xD
maybe I'll go back to stock, thnx anyway :/

I has this problem and my solution was to pull the sdcard until phone is booting. After it shows the home screen insert your sdcard and you are done!

Can be any one of these reasons:
-when restoring setcpu using apps like titanium backup, don't restore data!
-uninstall Pimp My ROM
-Don't restore any apps with data using Titanium backup or such apps!
-If these don't work, try wiping dalvik cache in recovery n then reboot!

You should try formatting the SDcard from pc.
While formatting choose file system as FAT32 or select the default option.

If no solution is working then the problem is the sdcard itself or a hardware problem from phone. Go to Samsung Centre and they will repair it if you are on stock rom and unrooted and you have a valid warranty card.

Try reformatting your Sdcard and use a SD card adapter to access it on the PC.If your SD card can't be read on the PC,means your SD card might be dead

[Resolved] (guide xperia m) rooting , reboot fix, and swapping internal memory

first of all all the tools and steps in this post is not mine . i had tried to bring all these things in to one thread
note:first thing first ,follow the steps from A,B,.....D
A-rooting
1-download framroot
2-install framroot
3-open framroot
4-u have to select install supersu
5-then select gandalf exploit wait for few seconds a pop up message comes sucess ..........
6-do nothing the phone will reboot itself when the phone turns on u will see super su is installed and u have ur xperia m rooted
note: some time ur phone will b rooted with the first attempt but i had tried these steps 3 times to get rooted my xperia m for the first time first time . but some time u will get rooted ur phone with single attempt so dont worry
B-busybox
1-download busybox
2-install busybox and open it wait for some time and grand super su request
3-wait for some time busybox loads tweaks after loading completes there is a install button on bottom left corner click install then choose normal
4-busy box installs tweaks after compleation of installation sucess popup message comes
5-installation of busy box is sucessfull
note:some time the phone will reboot in between the busybox installation dont worry follow from the 3rd steps. this is because of the system folder read write error
C-reboot fix (sucessfull system read/write)
1-download reboot fix.rar
2-unrar it on ur pc
3-turn on usb debugging on ur phone and connect to ur pc(sony pc companion should b installed in ur pc)
4-run supersu.bat
5-follow the instructions on the pc screen
note:without sucessful busybox installation the reboot fix will not work try these reboot fix steps several times if u r not sucessful
D-swapping internal memory
1-download extsd2internalsd_xz.txt and scriptmanager
2-install scriptmanager
3-copy the .txt file to /data folder
4-open scriptmanager and select browse as root and grand supersu permissions
5-navigate to /data folder on scriptmanager and long press the extsd2internal_xz.txt and select open As... then select Script/Executable
6-then select su and boot and select save
7-suddenly the .txt file will turn to yellow colour turn off ur phone annd turn on u will see a swapped internal to external sd
note:if the reboot fix is not sucessful ur phone will constantly reboot after the 7th step then u have to uninstall the script manager to solve this
this is how i done all these thanks for all the all orginal developers who found these tweaks

Yeah . we can ... but its nt easy .. needa compile from source, coz cnt find stock recovery image in here!

Steps 1-3 worker great but can't get step 4 to work whatever I do. Anyone else had this??

Ok so it finally worked after a few attempts. Do i need to uninstall all my apps and re-install them to get them on the 'external sd' as my 2gb partition is still full

Can we partition the SD card so that some of it appears as external storage and allows apps such as app2sd to move the data stored on the internal storage to move to external storage and free up space that way instead??

i open ES file explorer to check sdcard has been swaped. sdcard0=>external sd 16Gb card and sdcard1=>internal 2Gb.
i use link2sd to move some apps to my sdcard 16Gb, but an Warning occurred: "App2SD is not supported by ur device. becoz ur device has a primary external storage which is emulated form the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to ur SD card."
so i cant move my apps to my sdcard 16Gb. what happen and why?
anybody know whats wrong ???

just try this one if working for anyone?(reboot many times to see)
my storage changes after every reboot.

Anyone know what new features will be available on the next firmware update?? Will they reconfigure the storage settings to show move apps to SD?? Anything else known??

[Q] Help! How will I restore my old data

So I recently flashed deadwood01's "MIUI 2.12.21" and I loved the rom but I always get "force stops" so I decided to go back to my old rom which is kk9999gada's "inspiration rom". I have my backup of that rom in my pc but I don't know how to put it in my phone. Whenever I connect my phone to my pc via usb, I can't access my files. I thought of using dropbox to transfer the backup but I can't download dropbox in my phone since the MIUI rom don't have google play installed. So I downloaded gapps but I realized that i won't be able to put gapps in my phone since I cant connect it to the pc.
Sorry for the long post but any help or advice would be much appreciated.

If you have a Nandroid Backup of Inspiration Rom just transfer the folder named "clockworkmod" to external sdcard and restore it using CWM.

uhmm thanks for that response! But unfortunately, I don't have any external sdcard. I only use the internal sdcard soo I wouldn't be able to do that.. Do you have any more suggestions?

Flash stock rom(or any other rom but i recomend stock) with odin v3(or CWM if is custom rom) and again flash CWM and root it. After that copy the backup in root of internal sdcard and in CWM (i recomend to install v6.x.x) select restore from internal sdcard.

Maybe is a compatibility and I suggest him to install latest Kies and check the usb cable. If no he can try from another PC or he must go to Samsung Care Centre(or another service because is rooted). It says that he can't acces the internal memory but /system , /data and /emmc are different partitions so flashing through download mode should be easy.Or he can to try to download Dropbox.apk from Internet app(if that rom have it).

If you download kies but cannot connect to PC.
You could try this and it will help you download the latest USB driver.

When you are using custom rom, you could not connct by kies because it is official software.

what about kies air? or you dont have it?

If he uses custom ROM, he could not use official software like kies.

I've already found a solution, I just downloaded gapps directly from the MIUI's browser and have installed gapps perfectly. From there on, I downloaded everything that I needed. My problem is solved and thanks for all your suggestions ^^

Create clockworkmod folder in internal sdcard.For CWM V6.0.3.5 have an option call restore from internal sdcard then click on that and locate your backup file.If you dont have CWM 6.0.3.5,go and search it in the ace plus development forum and flash it before restoring your backup

i have a little problem
I have installed Cm10.1 on my chacha it worked alright but no ROM manager was exist and i couldn't create mount script for LINK2SD app
so i tried to install ROM manager manually but the app didn't open the device is force close it
so i deleted all the system and installed the ROM again and now two new problems added the first when i put the USB cable in the PC nothing shows in the status bar and i cant open my SD card on PC
second the internet browser don't work anymore

You should reflash the ROM and wipe cache and data. For the mounting script I suggest Cronmod

[Q] How to move apps data/obb on my HTC Desire 816 (Android)?

Hello guys
I am using HTC desire 816 dual sim for couple of months and faced the problem of internal storage as it has only 8GB. Than I rooted it and installed 'Foldermount' but faced kitkat sdcard issues. I fixed with some apps though it doesnt fix permanently. But still I cant move any data or obb folder to sdcard. actually i can move it with es file explrer or using pc but the app doesnt recognize it.
So friends please give me a quick suggestions or solutions otherwise I have to sell the phone.
Hoping for the best solution.

Sorry bro but I didn't get, what do you want to do now?
IF you phone have some problem then firest do a factory reset, if it don't solve the problem then flash stock rom.
And there are many apps to do stuff like folder mount.
but please explain your problem,...

My main problem is I cant move my game data/obb files to my external SD card. I tried a bunch of apps like GL to SD, apps2sd, directory bind etc other than foldermount but failed every time.
Ok now the option is to do factory reset or flash stock rom......though i used iPhone for 4 years and jailbreak and other things was a very easy things for me but I am very much new in ANDROID.
So i need some idea about how to do flash stock rom and factory reset and how these can help moving apps data to external sd card.
May be I have explained my problem.

and you can factory reset your device ..
go to settings-> accounts-> backup and reset-> factory data reset
and if you want to flash rom , I don't have much info about flashing rom to HTC. but you there is a thread of custom rom for HTC Desire 816 dual sim. ask about it there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2712315
