That's a samsung galaxy s4 feature. Not halo.
I believe halo got the idea from the multi-task/window by samsung.
It is original to the device

Halo was from the idea of Facebook chatheads.
No that's not Halo, it is I think the proper name for it is a ribbon. Its a side launcher for apps, swipe to the right and you see a dock with your apps

i can confirm drive link works on vzw sg3. installed from samsungapps and work fine.
I think this is the worst "driving mode" app I have ever had the displeasure of using. First of all, it is FAR from intuitive, making you sift through several menus before reaching the shortcuts you want, instead of having the main screen. Plus, they put ones there that are dumb and you can't remove. Instead, they fill up the main screen with weather which, since I have eyes, I can look outside my car and see. Secondly, it is locked into landscape mode, which is horrible since for navigation, you want it in portrait, so you can see more of the road ahead not to the sides. Thirdly, it acts as a normal app, in that when you press home, it goes back to the homescreen. You have to rely on the onscreen horribly placed buttons. If you want a decent one, get Google Car Home. It would be easier to just use my phone normally than use this.

Hi guys, where is setting for the daydream option on the S4? I don't see it

This might have a better response over in Q&A.
I'd like to know too. I don't have an S4, nor is Daydream a deal-breaker for me. But it'd be nice if it had it.

I guess everyone are aware of halo feature in PAC man ROMs its amazing. Can someone port this feature as an app so it can be used as a app on every ROMs.:thumbup:

Q&A? I believe.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
It can't be done as an app since the code is built into the framework
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
What about as an xposed module?
Since Halo is now open source, any dev can choose to add it to their roms, its up to them really

i second, it is close as far as the circle and notifications but doesnt give everythin its mini window, though does have some nice features that i think halo should have (ie. scale circle size, fade when not being used etc.)

Yep. Even the developer's thread says it's not halo, it doesn't have the app window and never will.
I'm a fan of lmt but it's a little tough to set up. This is more like Paranoid pie but different. Both apps can function at the same time too.
Copy of Dev's op. The free download apk is in the thread and also a link to the play store to donate to the developer.
****************************
Pie Control
Ohai Pie!
First things first. This is not Paranoid Android's Pie.
What is this app?
An app like Paranoid Android's Pie feature with a lot of functions and features.
What this isn't?
This is not real Pie feature of PA.
Why is root needed?
Root is needed for some functions. Although some functions can be used without root, I did not allow it as people would ask why the other features do not work.
SCREENIES
FEATURES
1. Can be called over any screen.
2. Fully customisable trigger points and pie.
3. Light weight.
4. Best part? Compatible all the way from Froyo for the first time!
Controls available
* Home
* Back
* Menu
* Volume Up
* Volume Down
* Power Off
* Play Store
* Search
* Pie Settings
* Music Controls
* Recents Apps
Please tell me if there's any bug so I can fix it.
This is just the intial release. I'll keep adding features accordingly.

Click the link in the op. It goes to the dev's thread. It's not a launcher at all, just sits in the side or bottom and like you see in the pics you can add shortcuts that will be available on any screen your on.

pie v touchwizwhich ma
pie options are pretty sweet but for some reason i just have to have my touchwiz features for s-pen. switching between roms its more of a preference only option between the two. I like the best of both worlds. i switch roms every week lol sometimes more then once a week depending on whats new the devs deliver today lol.
so much and so many good projects to choose from all excellent work
I had this recently start showing up on my always on screen. Tried messing with all S pen settings but nothing made it go away. Maybe something with the recall?
Looks like you have pinned something somewhere.
It also looks like an ultrasound, so apparently your powerstroke works well.

What this is is a feature called screen off memo. It can be enabled or disabled from Settings, Advanced features, S Pen, Screen off memo. Enabled with screen off, detatching s pen will open a quick memo app for jotting of thoughts and ideas on quick impulse. These memos are stored in Samsung notes.
