Hello guys. I am using Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 but I am using the CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM from codeworkx. Everything's alright until I install RC 4. It doesn't regconize my SIM card therefore my data service is unabled. Can upgrading on RC5 and wiping data solve this problem. Thank you all. And sorry if I post in wrong place.

hello, i have a galaxy s 4g t959 and recently i lost service and found out the phone is not recognizing the sim card in its slot, ive replaced the sim card but still nothing. it was originally on t mobiles network but i had it unlocked for att. i dont know what to do, can anyone help me?? Thanks.
have you tried pressing the simcard slot? maybe its just loose

I had the same problem. I got into CwM, and whiped the cache then rebooted. Worked the first time. Two weeks later it happened again. Samsung said its a mechanical flaw in the phone that happens to about 2% of the phones. Its something thats fixed through the warranty program. Hope that helps.

ı have a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 3G (3105) which is same as (3100). includes 3g connection and sms messaging but phone calls via sim card is not in use because of limitation. ı got my device in turkey and probably this problem is special for my country ı can do all with my tab except phone calls and ı am looking for a solution. is there any rooting or hack solusion for my problem ? ı searched in forum but no result.
any help is appreciated

Could be locked out in your software. I'd suggest rooting and flashing either a custom ROM, or not rooting and simply flashing a stock jelly bean ROM from Sam mobile, or checking the development pages.
Try one of the stock ROM first and flash through Odin. I did this using the Taiwan ROM and it was great.
Have since moved to CM10.1 as I wanted stock jelly bean 4.2.1

I just upgraded my Note 2 with DN4. All went well and it is an amazing experience, I would say. Thanks to team Elecctron. Before I upgraded to DN4 I had rooted my note 2 with TWRP. After that I am facing issue of Insert SIM, Baseband Unknown and IMEI unknown.
I am sure that TWRP has created this problem, but now I am not able to recover my phone to connect to network. Please request your help to sort this issue.

But my phone is freezing and overheating plus when i enter my Pin code the Sim card is still not working and i hope i get a help ASAP and btw i have a moroccan operator so in case it has a relation with Radio stuff .
