Hi,
I have put a new ROM on my Polaris to replace the stock o2 one many times,
but since replacing the original o2 one the gps has never worked.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem? or does anyone know a fix for this?
Ive tried using GPS with Google Maps and Tomtom, both never find a signal.
Thanks
I have the same problem after reflashing no GPS
i can't resolve it with flashing diferent rom ver. and radio roms
I don't seem to recall this occuring with ICS, but it seems like the GPS in the phone fails to become enabled about 25% of the time I use apps that should be using the GPS. Doesn't matter what app, but a reboot always seems to cure the issue. Is this a known problem with the i535?
Any suggestions to resolving this without a reboot would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Does nobody have this problem? Is there something wrong with the hardware in my phone?
Having some difficulties with the GPS on my TF101. I've done complete wipes and installed the latest stock ROM, a CM variant, and EOS 4 w/ Kat kernel.
At each stage, I attempted to get a fix using Google Maps, then with GPS Status. I tried rooted vs unrooted. I tried using the Kat GPS fix, and with the GPS wipe / download in GPS Status -- all to no avail.
The absolute most I ever see is a single, solitary GPS (getting 0/1 in GPS Status). Never enough to locate my position.
Had someone else who bought a TF101 around the same time as me try it as well. He is running the stock firmware, and has the same issues with the GPS.
Is there any obscure fix that someone here knows about that has solved their GPS issues on the Transformer? Anything else I can try? With my Galaxy S3, I get 9 almost immediately, and it goes to 11 within a few seconds. Is it just that the GPS in the Transformer is full of fail?
If it does not work on complete stock, there is a chance your GPS radio is fubar.
I have no idea how to diagnose this, just a thought.
Look at your GPS.conf file and on the net there is the GPS government website I think it is that tells you what servers to use. Maybe you can compare what your file has versus what the site says.
The file dictates what is will do and how it connects. Programs that show your GPS like agps or others on the play store don't actually edit the file so garbage in garbage out.

on Omnirom for example, i'm able to conect on my own wifi with no issues.
but in the wifi of my neighbor for example, i cant.
i wonder, why is that?
why he works on some wifi and in other doesnt?
is there a problem maybe with the password type?
is there a fix for it? cause almost every rom i try has this bug and i just can't find one for me to use as daily driver...
this wifi issue is annoying, i need to fix it but i dont know how.
anyone knows anything about an wifi issue like this? is it possible to fix?
Thanks all.
obs: it's not just in omnirom...its in a lot of roms!
Hello all,
I have faced issues with the Wifi on my OPO since the day I got it. I researched a lot about it and found out that it's a problem faced my a lot of OPO users. Just to summarize the problem: The Wifi connects but after a few minutes (in sleep and sometimes even when the phone is in use) the data transmission stops. The Wifi icon shows that it is connected but you can't access the internet.
I had this problem on the 11s and when I read 12s had solved the problem I moved to 12s. But the problem still persists. Here are the things I have already done:
Wifi in sleep - Always
Restored factory settings
Installed app WifiKeepAlive
Installed 12s (15th Aug build)
I have seen a lot of posts but haven't seen a resolution in them. Appreciate if someone could help out.
I used to have a similair problem on my old One until it broke due to water damage. My new one doesn't have this however.
Perhaps a kernel issue? Try flashing a different one and see if the problems persist.
