wiped, bricked tf300 now installing c/roms but still booting to twrp? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello, last week i bricked my tf300, this is what happened...
i installed the energy rom along with the 4.2.1 bootloader, i was already using twrp 2.4.3.0 and it seemed to work fine for a while but then i had problems with a double screen after trying a different rom (cant remember which) anyway i tried the usual resets and wipes to to fix it but no joy. I then used the wipe data in bootloader thinking a full clean wipe would sort it but it just booted straight into twrp.
in twrp nothing will mount apart from system, ive used fastboot to flash various stock blobs, proper twrp img etc but even tho fastboot said everything flashed ok, i still boot into the old twrp which wont mount anything apart from system.
i then got an old 8 gig sd card and put stock roms and energy rom on root of the sd card , in twrp i mounted system but cant mount cache, data or sd card but strangely, i was able to copy the above roms from the sd card and move them to the mounted system partition which i was then able to install the energy rom with aroma installer , happy days i thought until after installation it rebooted straight to twrp again asking for password?
when i try to install stock roms by the above method it fails because cache isnt mounted. i think the twrp is corrupted, how do i fix this?
could someone with the know how tell me what im doing wrong,? should i full wipe again? should i wipe the twrp and how do i do this?
i am sort of a newb to this and any advice would be great

[Q] Accidently Wiped system and almost everything using Team Win Recovery Project v2

Was trying to flash the ICS ROM V5 but it got stuck on the boot animation. I did a factory reset, surprisingly it was still there. So i used "Team Win Recovery Project" aka "twrp-crespo-2[DOT]0[DOT]0RC0[DOT]img" in nexusshacks.com. I went in there to do a factory reset but i wiped the ACTUAL system instead. So when i reboot i am stuck on Google. Unfortunely i only had 1 back up which is in ClockworkMod, but i cant access that. I dont mind my lost files because i can recover that but i want my phone to work again. Can i copy the nexus s contents from another nexus s and place it in my SD and will it work? If you guys have ideas please do reply because i need my phone fixed asap. Bootloader unlocked and rooted using superuser.

okay,am not very familiar with TWRP but your problem doesn't seem that big,you wiped the /system which should not affect your USB storage data (even if you wiped the USB storage it's not a problem),try to boot into the bootloader (volume up + power button) then go to recovery, mount the USB storage and put a ROM on it,then just flash the ROM and your device should boot up normally,i think you weren't stuck at the bootanimation since when you flash a new ROM the first boot could take from 5 to 10 minutes.
i usually do a clean install before flashing a new ROM (format system, data, cache, boot) and the device just boot up normally after flashing the new ROM so it's not a problem if you wiped your system just flash a new ROM.

I did this same thing a few weeks ago. I just had to reinstall everything (including the recovery) from fastboot. Worked like a charm.
I used the nexusshack tut to root my nexus had no problems.
You could go into recovery, mount usb storage, find the clockworkmod directory and copy that to your pc..
do a full data wipe and flash a new rom, then install rom manager flash CWM recovery . move the clockworkmod directory back to your phone. boot into recovery and restore you backup.
Just an idea .. not sure if it could work..(take no responsibility is it doesnt)

[Q] Trouble flashing Cromi-x JB 4.2.1

Ok, i'm trying to install Cromi x JB 4.2.1 by flashing it from my SD card
I'm on bootloader 10.6.1.14.0
TWRP 2.6.1.0.
I flash the zip from the sd card like i've done many times with other ROMS. Everything looks fine. I go through the install steps for Cromi-x, everything appears to install correctly. I get a friendly message telling me that everything went great, to reboot my tablet, and to enjoy!
But TWRP tells me that no OS is installed. When I reboot, it goes to the ASUS splash screen and just sits.
What could I be doing wrong?

Did you mean 10.6.1.14.10? It happens to me once in a while with that issue... If you don't have anything to save and I guess that you don't. First, you could try to wipe your system, cache, and data from your twrp. Then go to mount button and manually mount your system, cache, and data then try to install your ROM again..:fingers-crossed: If it still doesn't mount your system, you have to go through the steps above with a complete shut down of your device and don't install anything if ask.. Then boot back into your twrp and manually mount all your partitions then install your ROM. Good luck...:fingers-crossed:
That usually happens when /system can't be mounted correctly or the installer didn't actually finish (even though it reported it did).
Try rebooting and wipe /system and flash again as said.

can't mount data

Hi
I have the problem: in twrp i have format data. I've lost all data, and system too. I couldn,t flash anything, because the recovery couldn't load any data, and i got recovery bootloop. At the end i've flashed stock rom, it works, and i can see my sd card in file browser. Now, i wanna flash another rom, but the recovery still don't see my sd card, expect external card, but i can't flash any rom because data mount issue. I've tried also cwm, and several twrp recovery.
Help me please to solve my problem
Thanks
Hi
I have solved my problem. First, i flashed stock recovery, after that flashed TWRP 2.8.1 recovery, and this can mount data and cashe yet.

Galaxy S7 930f can't access twrp

Hello, thanks for your help.
It seems I bricked my galaxy s7 while trying to format the /data partition.
I installed TWRP 3.2 and a custom rom, and everything went smoothly until then.
I tried installing an audio mod which throwed a " can't mount /data" error, searching for solutions I read that formatting the data partition to fat and back to ext4 should solve the problem, I tried formatting it to fat with TWRP, however on the first try I got a message that it suceeded, followed by a message that /data could not be mounted, TWRP seemed to be still working (there was no reboot button or any other buttons, just a "working" bar). After giving the phone 3 hours I decided to restart it, now I can't access TWRP; it stays on it's "splashcreen", and of course the phone won't boot.
I'm having a rough time with this so I will appreciate it a lot if you can help me.
Thank you.
Boot to download mode, flash stock firmware using Odin, then retry the TWRP installation.
For wiping data, you have to make sure you use the wipe option that makes you type out 'yes' to wipe, the other factory wipe methods don't actually properly wipe the partition.
iirc you also then need to flash the dm no verity zip from the TWRP thread.
Bro you didn't have to do anything but just formating the phone in the first place. Aassuming you're on oreo , it happens to a lot of people and myself, after flashing a kernel twrp was unable to munt data, all i had to do is a data format in twrp that fixed the problem .

After flashing a new ROM, TWRP doesn't decrypt the internal storage

I'm sure that this problem was asked a bunch of times now, but I didn't find any reliable solution to this so far.
I wanted to move from LOS to Omnirom.
What I did:
Wipe cache/system/date
Flashed Omnirom
Flashed TWRP (blu_spark_v9.96)
Reboot to recovery
But unfortunately, what I saw is that all of my internal storage is encrypted, and I don't know how to decrypt it back to normal without wiping it all to start from scratch.
By this time I tried some various tries to revert it back to normal.
But... obviously, I kinda broke it.
What I mean is that I've got the "stuck TWRP logo" and accidentally deleted to boot partition (I've already recovered them back (A/B)) but until I'll manage to decrypt my files, I'm stuck with the stock recovery and can only boot to TWRP, but not flashing it.
My question is:
What should I do next in order to return my recovery to TWRP and boot to my custom ROM properly?
