it will hard to get them to do anything if the tablets is bricked after it was unlocked, which voids the warrenty.
let me know how it goes

went wuth my galaxy note 10.1 and never looking back
#.1 unbrick time!
#.2 don't worry about it, just unbrick
#.3 find a tool to unbrick it, if you can't, buy a nexus 7. It's Asus but it's the best tablet you can get ATM.

Are you able to go to download mode?
Try this combination
Power key + home + Volume key down.
And report.

I bricked my Apollo months ago, took it to carphonewarehouse and told them it doesn't boot. They repaired it for free and I got a new one.
Hard bricked is very hard to get out of so go get it repaired

@The person above, that's probably because you had a warranty.

I did have warranty. Do you still have warranty?

Well I am not asking the question in the op so you should ask him btw, I didn't even buy warranty. Its useless because I take god care of my phones so they hardly get damaged

Ok XDA I just purchased the Tf300t and I'm considering rooting it but I read that I have to unlock it which voids the warranty. Is there a way root it with out unlocking it? Please keep in mind this is my first tablet

I work on these devices for a living and can tell you that as far as the manufacture is concerned unlocking and rooting are the same thing. They will void the warrantee.
Instead if worrying about that get a nandroid back up and do research on going back to stock. That way if you need to for any reason you have an out and you can send the device in.

I know about going back to stock the boot loader is my concern. I've rooted several of my phones and went back to stock for insurance purposes. I've just read that once its unlocked you can't reverse it.

Hi, I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 running CyanogenMod 10.1.2. Today I tried flashing the Ninphetamine kernel on my device, and after a successful flash in recovery (I have TWRP), I rebooted my device but it wouldn't turn on. I then tried booting into recovery. Didn't work. I then tried to boot in download mode. Didn't work. Is my device bricked, or is there any other way to get into download mode other than using the Vol. Down, Home, and Lock buttons? Thanks in advance.
The magic 8 ball says google "jtag".
Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's not a Verizon kernel and that leads to a hard brick.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I were to purchase one of these USB jig things, how would it help me get my device into recovery, or how does it work? Thanks.
I'm no expert or anything. But I'm pretty sure flashing a kernel from another carrier will hard brick, I couldn't find very much info on that kernel.
Check out this link. Never used them or even positive if you need it, just throwing out some info.

Never seen that thing you flashed in the vzw s3 forums so your definitely hard bricked. I remember there was a known jtag service for only 65$ amd had good damn reviews. Cant get the name on top off my head. Usb jig wouldnt work

I literally just got my phone back from MTV's JTag service. It worked like a charm. Definitely worth the $50. Only issue I am having is I have very very weak signal strength now, where I didn't before jtag. Good luck!

I had my n5 for 2 weeks and when I tried to turn it in this morning it got stuck on boot. Anyone else had that problem? I contacted lg and I send it in for repair.
Sent from my LG-P769 using xda app-developers app
You mean stuck on the Google boot screen or the boot animation screen? Either way you could've fixed it using adb to restore to stock using factory image, the tool kit, or simply go to your recovery and wipe data/ factory reset. You didn't have to send it back to lg if you can still access fastboot and do any of the method above.

You had to start a new thread for this? Why not use the existing RMA thread?
