Hey guys i've got my hand on an i9003 whith some problems . The phone get's very hot in any situation. Chargin on/off discharging very fast while on ,hot in cmw recovery. All aplication run normaly. No abnormal comsuption. Flashed 3 roms and now again on stock. At the last boot i had problems with cmw beeing not ablte to mount the cache and making a boot loop. After flashing the cmw many times with odin i managed to get a stok room. Now the phone starts only if it's charging. If i try to start it while not pluged in any device i get the message : power reset or uknown upload mode. And now the phone it's working but discharging very fast due to high heat. i managed to disasamble and clean all the parts and from what i feel and saw inside i think the problem it's from the internal storage. ( that's the hotest point). There is any way to get out the internal memory or just unmount it from the device and run the Rom from an external sd card?
No you cant rom is installed in system which means its on the internal sdcard so you cant change it.

How is this possible .
This is pretty bizarre.
I have been running CM7 nightly 180 with Trinity for about a month now. I woke up to my phone vibrating a bit - my K9 mail app got reset so it was redownloading old emails. I tried to open my Twitter app and that was reset as well. After that a bunch of force close dialogues popped up, so I rebooted my phone thinking it glitched up. Once I did that, it would show the Google logo, then the first Trinity logo, and just hang there. It did not get to the Trinity animation.
I can get into recovery, and from there I tried to restore to a backup, and it says E:Can't mount /sdcard. Do I have to Odin to fix this or is there another option? I remember the same error happening to my Vibrant, and that was the only solution.
Does anyone have any explanation as to why this happened? I didn't do anything unusual with the phone or install anything new/different at all. I plugged it in, went to bed, and woke up to this.
Strange :S. Did you try to mount SD card from recovery while you have your phone conected to PC? I hope it's not faulty storage memory problem...

I just tried, CWM says "Error mounting /sdcard!" This all happened with my Vibrant. It said all of the same things and I had to use Odin, and it worked, but my /sdcard was completely wiped. It just doesn't make sense since this time I didn't do anything differently; I think on my Vibrant I had installed a new ROM and then it messed up. This time it's like a phantom f**k up.
That doesn't sound so good . Seen few people with same problem, and most of them sent their devices for repairs. It was some hardware error where Odin couldn't help.
Can't be sure if that is the same problem, but it easily could be. I'm not expert, I'm just sharing what I've seen before. Let's hope I'm wrong about this one...
Ugh I really hope not. I bought this phone on eBay in August, I still owe money to Bill Me Later -_-
Off to Samsung it goes

Get into recovery mode by turning phone off then hold volume up button then press the power button. It should go to recovery. In recovery go to advanced the mount SD card and mount data. Then try doing a restore

Try to read again what OP wrote in his/her posts...
Have you tried flashing another recovery? Or even, lock and unlock the bootloader? It should format your sd card and that might fix it.

I recall having a similar problem in recovery, I just can't remember what I did to fix it!

You could also try this.

Try use other version of recovery. It is a bug from I dunno which version of recovery.

I'm on version 5.0.0.0 of CWM, is that the buggy one by chance?
I can't get the USB driver to install here at work (Windows), I am going to have to wait til I get home to flash an updated version of CWM from my Mac.
Flashing a new recovery didn't help. My /sdcard still says error for everything. I wish Odin worked on Macs.
Just used someone's PC to use Odin and my phone hangs at "verify image (ipbl)... success." I think I'm going to throw in the towel and cut my losses at this point. I don't really have any other options.
Amazing but working solution for the same problem!
There is a post in Google mobile support were many people had the same problem and one guy exposes the solution, because I am new user, I can't link outside xda so I tell you the fix:
It's said to be a common hardware problem in this device, for me it just works when I power on after heating up with a hot air gun (other people say a hair dryer is enough)
I hope that you find this information useful
any news?? i have the same problem :'(
Heating Works
Thanks I have the same problem. I was not able to mount any of the system or sdcard partitions. Heated the phone with a heat gun and it starts up.

Hi, today i flashed a new room (miui.us V4 ICS) in my phone, and everything was ok but after a while in the locker screen when i unlock it, the device restarts to the the miui logo. I tried to flash the miui´s room again but the problem persists. I can´t conect the phone by USB, i can´t do anything because it always restarts and i don´t know how to fix this situation.
Thanks in advance
I remembered that when i flashed the room i forgot to do the wypes.... So i flashed it again do all the wypes and i dont have any reboots at the unlock screen at the moment, but it happens when i try to move to sd card, here comes the reboot again.
Anybody can help me fixing this bug please?
What are you moving to the SD card? Do things run fine if you don't move anything to SD?

maybe you can try to turn on the usb ms in the recovery mode. then you can at least copy a working rom into your sd card and flash it before you figure out the problem.
No, wait, what did you move? If you mean the lockscreen (part of MiHome) then it won't work. No touching it. That is not even a bug.

I checked it but its fine!:/ The battery works in another phone perfectly! I tried my phone with another battery but it wont work,....:/
RIP
AW: Somebody help me !:/ I think my phone died!
Are you sure your battery is fully charged? Did you try getting into recovery mode with pressing power both volume buttons and home? Maybe also try out booting without battery, only connected to the USB cable... It is difficult now but pulling out the battery is quite dangerous, try also removing Sim card and sd card... It could be anything

first of you check your bettery is fully chage or not,if it charged then pull-out your sd card and sim card from their slot, wait a while. now push power botton until phone become in reboot .If phone does not reboot it mean their is some hardware problem hence u sud go to repair at repair centre.
its ok
Keep Trying
Ok, this maybe a silly question, but did you try to go in download mode again? Not the recovery mode but the download mode.
Like this
Try going to download mode Again.

Did you partition your sd card before using mount2sd? Did you wait till it boots the first time?, did you reboot after?
If not, wipe everything and reinstall...
