Not sure about that application but Google Voice is completely free. It will download the voicemail and transcribe it for you (if it can).

It's just saying that it cant automatically set up the no answer transfer to divert calls from verizon's voicemail system to GV. You can do that manually.

Arch Energy Productions brings you
Project Linda Mod
Included Linda Voice files: Calendar, Email, Instant Message, Messages, Voicemail, Weather, Xda, Ringtone, Charger Connected, Lock, Power off, TW Error, TW Low Battery, TW Unlock, Unlock.
What is Project Linda? It is audio files of a female robotic voice announcing various actions on your S3. I used it on my Vibrant a couple of years ago and thought others might enjoy it. It is also in a Rom I put together, Gigajoule.
To get rid of the Linda Mod for the UI, flash your current Rom, with no wiping.
Just flash through your favorite recovery, It will work on any rom, just has some TouchWiz specific sounds that if not needed will be ignored.
Hit the thanks if you like it!
Thanks bud! I also loved Lindas voice on my vib.
Can I use this running Paranoid Android on my galaxy s3? Thanks

Does anyone know of a verizon visual voicemail that will run under 4.3?
I have tried the vvm from 4.1.2 and 4.2.
Both say installing, then install failed without a reason.
I do not want to use google voice, as I do not like it!.
Thanks

There's youmail, but what's wrong with Google voice? I've yet to come across something better than it.

I've used Google voice, and i just don't like it. I like it less now that Google has been giving info and data from their customers to our and other governments that request it, and they claim that our info and data is their property.

I see, well give youmail a shot. And if you come across something better let me know. That's something I'd be interested in.

Is there a messaging app the would give a real time alert (stated "typing") when in text conversation to notify you that the other person is responding to your message. Any help or thought and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yeah but that's an app where both parties need to have that installed where I am looking for more of an sms app. How does that app even work and forgive my silly questions
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Hmm, idk if the facebook messenger app does that, u can use it to text people and both parties don't need it
Sent from my SCH-1535 using Tapatalk 4
I use whatsapp and it does that. Possibly one of the best messaging apps there is. Both parties need it, and it is a dollar, but you can use wifi and it is rock solid stable. One of the best purchases I've made in the play store.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
yeah you are only going to get that functionality when both parties are using the same app. And it would have to be a messenger/chat type app not a strictly sms/mms type app
So I don't have cell service yet but I'd like to get my voice messages through hangouts. Is it possible? I'm on paranoid android with Franco kennel.

Yes. Go in your Google Voice settings and under sync and notification, select messaging app under where you'd like to receive your messages.

But then I can't send messages out without cell service.

You will need to be connected to WiFi. Test it out and post your results back.
Google voice will just reroute you messages to hangouts but it will still use wifi to send the messages.

I've already tried the suggested in this thread. No bueno at all. It don't work it stays stuck on sending when I start a message to a contact.
That's the only way I know of getting GV messages in Hangouts.
I've never tried it without service. I guess hangouts itself is totally dependent on cellular networks by default. Sorry couldn't be of more help.
Sit tight. I'm sure someone else will have another idea for you.
