Photosphere on non-Nexus devices with the 'Google edition' camera app - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

Here's the camera (and gallery) app from the Google Edition phones, which lets you record and view Photosphere images. The file has been pulled directly from Jerry's GS4 GE system dump, no tampering at all.

Didn't work. :|
SGR+CM10.1(1st may nightly)
Is i working on your device? Is it Galaxy R?

Photosphere doesn't work for me. Force closes the app. I don't think it is even supposed to work as we don't have NEON and google has now no reason to make a non-neon photosphere app.
Also when i change any settings while in video mode, the app crashes.

Which video camera application should I use for ICS roms with camcorder error?

I have been using ICS on myTouch 4G for a while now and in every rom I've used the video camera was missing or had Force Close error. The developers keep saying use a video camera application from google play to play videos, but no video camera application seems to exist on Google Play. Please show me which video camera application should I use since I need the camcorder on my myTouch!

[Q] Google Camera app and HDR

I think the original Android app takes better photos
The only problem with this app is the HDR
I installed the original app 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4, none of them has the HDR
Any way to solve this?
Anyway?

[Q] What camera app are you using on your idol3?

Google Camera? Camera Zoom FX? The default? What's working for you?
Same question here, stock camera is okay, but is there another app that will save to SD card beside stock

I use the stock app for videos, OpenCamera for stills, Freedcam for landscapes using RAW mode , and Google Camera - if I want panorama or photo-sphere.
'A Better Camera' - will save to SD card. It is pretty nice - but I uninstalled it after I realized that the free version had a limitation of number of HDRs pictures it allows.

Using stock, OpenCamera, A BetterCamera. I like OpenCamera except it doesn't yet support writing to external SD.
My main complaint with the stock camera is that it seems to only support two resolution settings (and I am guessing they are the really the same resolution, just one is cropped to make 16:9 aspect ratio). Am I missing something? Is there a way to take lower-resolution photos (e.g. for web posting or faster email upload) using the stock camera app?
I use Camera FV-5.

Does it allow saving to the external sd on lollipop? As far as I know only the stock camera allows that.
Camera FV-5 I found does not work for some reason on the Idol. I start the camera and get a black screen. I do get the settings but nothing else but a black screen. I going to contact app developer soon about it.
The best camera so far (for any device) it's procapture because: it can silent all the sounds (except those in whats app), it can put the grip on and it can capture just by touch. Besides theese, there are many-many other settings as wb, iso, hdr, light mode etc

Your phone has to support Google's Camera2 API in order for the app to even function. Right now only a few devices even support the official Google Camera2 API. The ones I know of are: Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S6, LG G4. Since the camera hardware is the same as my Nexus 6, I'd expect this app to just work, but Alcatel's software side probably isn't even written with Camera2 API in mind.

Nexus 5 - Camera App missing on Euclidean 7.0 ROM

I've recently rooted Euclidean 7.0 Nougat ROM on my Nexus 5.
I also checked the app "Google Camera" on Playstore but cannot find it. (Camera app used to appear on AOSP playstore). Neither is it listed in Settings>Apps
Please Help
Same. Although I found it via All My Apps on Play Store. But the app is not working properly. It opens up, but after trying to take a photo, the photo does not save. I get no preview in the gallery either. When I try to record a video, a still image shows on playback and I can listen to the sound only. I tried flashing twice from factory image but no luck. Would like to know a solution to this.

Google Camera App Video Not Working

Taking videos with the built in Camera app (Google Camera) leaves me with a green thumbnail in the bottom right, and when I tap on it, the video is just grey. There is sound but the video is not there. Other camera apps work but they are missing features the Google Camera app has. Has anyone else experiened this, and have you found a fix?
Rooted with Magisk, Unlocked, TWRP installed. Tried reinstalling Camera app to no avail.
