Is there any way through which c2 can be woke up through volume rocker instead of the power button?

Every time I touch the Volume Button on the side of the case (even accidentally) the ringer volume goes down incrementally. Can this button be locked or deactivated? Can the volume be locked in some other way? Does the vibration setting have anything to do with this issue?
Volume Control + will lock your volume for you.

Starting today my volume rocker is stuck on media volume instead of ringer volume even on the homescreen - I've tried turning it off and on multiple times but it doesnt help. Anyone have any ideas?
