gpu is not working with stock Rom after I flashed custom roms through recovery
when I play videos in cm9.1 or jaggyrom they are sharp and clear but with stock Rom they look hazy
I installed stock Rom using zip file and also
successfully installed ruu but the graphic are dull as compared when I bought phone
also when I zoom photos or pictures the look dull
with jaggy Rom and cm9.1 everything works fine
please help me
Through custom roms snaps and vids looks clear because developer have added certain scripts and bravia engine ! If games works fine without chainfire it means ur gpu is working or test it using benchmark softwares !

Go to all apps and then tap downloads press power button which is on the top then quickly press the home button.screen shot will be taken then attach that shot to reply !

which rom u r using???
playing video(hd video) needs hardware decoding => hardware decoding need some file => latest cm10 and latest cm10 based rom support hardware video decoding
and adreno lib file exist in every rom => so gpu works

I am using stock Rom installed through ruu
I am playing the game subway surfers its doesn't lag but I think graphics are little hazy
It seems to you btw its not a tegra device or Change your screen protector

Hello everyone, I've create this thread to let us report about 3d or hd games which is supported with CM10.1 (Android 4.2.2) by TheWhisp. Please post here if u found which games is support or which games is not support.. For the first, let me share first of my report..
Real Racing 3 (free download from play store) - supported but a bit laggy sometimes.
The Bard's Tales - run smoothly..
Street Fighter IV HD - not fully supported. Sometimes force close..
Can anyone share also info about which games support or not supported by CM10.1?

Also... PES and JUSTICE LEAGUE... runs... smartly... except JL lags... BUT PES runs... smooth...

subway surfer dosent lag in my phone when net pack or wifi is on ..
never played that much because its a boring game but still i have played it and it never lags

Visuals are not very nice in stock roms.. But yes they work pretty well on CM..
By mods I meant zram and overclocking which are included in CM..

there is no fix for some games !!
i guess thewhisp will fix this issue in next build if he is still developing for ace plus !!!

no he didn't abandon the nor he said like that but he pm me that every one is spamming only on the thread that's why he is not reading our thread frequently

Someone must really do something about these spams on the Official CM10~10.1 thread . I fully understand thewhisp ,I used to spam too but at least I removed that bad habit . Vickyg PM me about this situation (if you have any ideas )

Six-Guns is free on Play Store. Runs without lag on CM but in stock rom this game is not suported.

use gemini app manager and widget u will increase the ram easily
greenify can help a lot...it automatically hibernates unused apps...so u get free ram as well as ur battery backup is increased...

When we kill apps with a task killer thay automatically restard, you should use greenify app only that app stops facebook and other from running automatically
1. Use RAM Manager pro or Xtreme booster app... and set the profile as you need, this app will keep more free ram.
2. Also if your ROM supports swapping you can use swapper.
3. Use light weight launchers which do not eat up too much RAM(don't use 3d launchers).
4. Use Gemini task killer widget.
5. Remove or disable uncessary system apps that keep running (eg if you don't want maps you can disable it and enable it when you want)
6. Try not to use mire apps which will be running always.

The RAM cannot be upgradeable but you can use apps like greenify to less consume RAM
and frequently killing apps which are not running

Increasing RAM
If you are asking for increasing the RAM(512 mb) then it is impossible without the reqd hardware.
You can surely utilize and clean the present RAM by using various apps which will keep ram free.
But u cant increase the size of ram present without changing the hardware.

U can download 'swapper' from play store and
u can get a FAT partition of ur sd card and
give some memory in mb for the ram
Then reboot ur phone..but root is required...enjoy...

First boot ram was around 780. Good for gaming
after installing 30 apps got around 450mb ..
HD games work smooth.
Dead trigger 2 (high graphics mod)
NBA 2k14 working smoothly.
The Amazing spiderman working great
PES 2012 working smooth
God of War (PPSSPP) working smoothly
Burnout legends (PPSSPP) working smooth
Flappy bird working great
But Virtua tennis is not working.. when i open it ..it goes to homescreen
WANT to get highscore in flappybird without playing HMU.

Just confirmed and he hasn't faced any of these problems ! Gallery is working fine and there is a separate app for walkman use that ! Don't use the default music app which gives the option to play with default music player or walkman. If u choose walkman it doesn't work. But the separate walkman app works very fine !
No one else has reported the bug so far ! ( So i guess problem at your end ). Flash as per the instructions and see
