Beside of this look at MC8 AND MF1 threads. Do you really think it's best idea to mix that threads? We have many more useless threads than those with new firmwares

Makes sense. We just need to purge the "Question" threads.

There are a lot more other issues that can go under the Q and A.

Honestly, I will never enter the Q&A topic!
Who has the time to read 170 pages of the same questions over and over again?
For me it makes sense to have a different topic for different firmwares. This way all the information regarding that firmware is in that topic and it's much easier to read all about it.
And it has less pages!
If you merge all the topics it will be chaos.
Why not merge ACE2 and ACE sub forums together also?
Better yet, let's skip all the subsections and leave only one big Q&A topic for all the devices which will have over 9000 pages.
You people have nothing to complain about and you complain on each new topic opened, whether it deserves it or not.

We did not understand. I also think that every firmware should be a separate issue. That's why I said that there are a lot of other topics that are open for one question that could be asked in the Q and A

Did anybody flashed this via Odin on L version of the Ace 2?

I did.
I flashed with Odin 3.07.
When I did, inicial screen "Samsung galaxy ace 2 Gt-i8160l" loops.
So I turn off, then boot in recovery (up volumen + home + power) and I did wipe data/ factory reset and wipe cache permition.
Then works!
Until now all is ok, include the modem.
The only problem is the gallery app that closed while passing the photos.

Answer should be yes.
Guys please tell me
Is this Rom at least is less buggy and more smooth for games.. I think at least samsung should listen to the customers opinion and release smoother roms instead of just changing their name and releasing the same lagging roms ..

Flash it via ODIN buddy (just as you would do for any Stock ROM.) But don't do a factory reset after flashing ICS. Rather first flash CWM via ODIN and then flash ardatdat's secure kernel via CWM. Then you can safely do a factory reset in ICS!:good:
Feel free to ask if you have any more doubts!
Thnx!

Buddy that is not because of bootloader! The UI(most of it) is decided by the launcher you use. For Galaxy R, Samsung has still managed to stick to the old TW launcher that was use in GB. That is the reason you find that the menu style is similar!
If you want a true Stock ICS feeling, try NOVA launcher or APEX launcher from the playstore!
Thnx!

Yes, for Portugal operator TMN.
I just tried to connect my phone with kies to search for official release and now kies needs update.
Hopefully it's for the new flash procedure needed for jellybean (repartitioning).
I am updating kies as we speak and will report after if the update is released officially.
Edit: Sorry guys, Kies says that LL2 (GB) is the latest software.
I remembered that Izap said that MC4 is the RC. I would suggest caution installing this MC8. We don't want any bricked phone.
Are you from Portugal? If not how you expect to update with Kies?

lol. it's an official firmware for i8160. unless u have i8160p, i8160l or whatever there's no more risk involved than usual.
so how i instal this?

I think that just like any other load a software as a PDA, without repartition and pit
but I'm not 100% sure

Not that strange since you apparently are trying to flash a Note 3 ROM on a Nokia N900. I suspect that you forgot a zero or a five

[ROM][I9105/P][4.2.2] Stock Prerooted Firmwares w/o loss of warranty [29.08.14]

Description:
These firmwares are fully stock.
The only changes: root, odex/deodex.
The warranty will not be voided after flashing.
Abberiviations:
ROS - Root, Odex, Stock
RDS - Root, DeOdex, Stock
How to:
Download "CSC_*.zip" and "PDA_*.zip" parts for your model of phone
Unpack downloaded files. You'll get "*.tar.md5"
Run Odin, for CSC choose "CSC_*.tar.md5" and for PDA choose "PDA_*.tar.md5". No more changes in Odin window
Flash and wait until reboot
* I recommend to do a factory reset
Download:
MEGA.co.nz
You will help me, if you provide firmware's CSC parts of other regions of present firmwares. Usually fiwmwares for different regions are identical but CSC part (cache.img & hidden.img) is different. In order to not to make a lot of FW's with big size I made the only PDA part and l different CSC parts for that PDA part version. Example: we have "I9105PXXUBNG1" PDA part and "I9105POXABNG1" CSC part for DBT (German) region. And we can make it multiregional if you'll provide me other CSC parts.

Yes bro is same, our device will kept with this version 3.0.31 that same one used on lollipop roms, i try to port 3.4 kernel but it's very hard job, because we should marge the basic architecture code to 3.4 btw i found they update the recovery, it's same of aosp 4.2 i think
Edit: the new firmware is very smooth comparing to old one + they add samsung go, if still release updated probably will release 4,3 and 4,4
The kernel has been compiled on february 2015, so is same version, but isn't same.
You said that the recovery has been changed, so We still have the error on recovery, about the wipe on cache and dalvik cache??

Try flashing through Odin by taking out battery. Put it in back and go to download mode by pressing volume down home power.
Untick auto reboot option in ODIN 3.09 and flash the bootloader in BL Section or modem/baseband in CP Section...
After you see "reset" screen on Odin.. take out battery again and reboot the phone to download mode and flash it again... Let the phone boot and see if it changed or not... I guess it will...

course you can... but it might affect the battery life by prolonging or minimizing. and also the Network reception. but it's working perfectly for me... :')

Okay will flash it at home, thx
if you dont have any problems (wifi/batt /flashing etc )with the phone/rom combo youre running
its best to leave it like that...
flashing a bootloader/modem might affect functions on your phone
so read good before you flash..
cheers

Hey, kind of wondering the same
On the SGS4, it used to be a fix for wi-fi problems on newer boobloaders...
Here on Note 3, unsure...
I want to update the wife's Note 3 because since switching to LTE her network receiption is quite worse compared to 3G. But, it's not my phone so I wouldn't care if it were, but here it just got to not break anything
Anyone else tried those?
